The book I did the illustrations for: Classic of Mountains and Seas (book1), a Chinese mythology classic (anyone knows?). It's for young readers, so I got to draw the characters cute. (For some characters, it's really challenging.) My favorite is the one with Nüwa(the snake lady fixing the broken sky), my sister likes the Pangu and the Torch Dragon (The giant who create the world and after he die his body became land, river, forest, sun and moon), @rinusuarez likes the fight between the rain deity dragon and the fire lady Nüba. If you still remember, this was the project I did for a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center donation project in Taiwan. I received the products! The cover I did for @harpersbazaar_tw with @audemarspiguet . Very thankful to have this opportunity! The concept is about Hope. In this special situation now in the world, things breaking down, but then soon should be a fresh start. (Sometimes a collapse is needed for better construction.) One of the illustration I put in my book (sorry the book is in Chinese.) A book cover illustration I did for @tordotcompub, for a short fiction from @fran_wilde An Explorer’s Cartography Of Already Settled Lands. It's a very interesting story that in the end become somewhat philosophical. With this rescue center, injured animal from east side of Taiwan will have higher chance to survive. This is another illustration I did for my book, my working space in my Bogota home, in front of a huge window. I heard that the environment is improving due to the economic slowdown across the world. I hope working from home become more accepted, and even after the virus, companies still allow their employees to work from home a few days a week. That way at least the greenhouse gas emissions from transportation can be reduced. I'm back in Taiwan for 2 weeks now, but Ricardo stays in Colombia. Good that I came back before I can't, so now I can be with my family. I don't know when I can go back to be with Ricardo though. (Coronavirus is forcing me to chose between family and husband.😑) Stay safe! 最近因為疫情，各國紛紛開始居家令＋鎖國，平常都要去辦公室的上班族們也被迫體驗了一回在家工作吧！聽說因為經濟停擺，污染驟降，地球趁機好好地喘了一口氣。這次疫情過後，會不會公司們對在家工作的接受度大為提高，開始開放員工一週幾天在家工作呢？這樣至少因為通勤產生的碳排放就能下降了。 　 我回台現在也兩週了，還好當時有果斷回台，不然慢一點鎖國了也回不來。但Ｒ就留在哥國了，他們現在也正在20天居家令中。不知道我要在台灣待到幾時，這疫情簡直逼我們在另一半與家人間二選一😭（我回來也好啦，現在我跟Ｒ至少都能跟家人在一起） 　 這張是我給新書畫的插畫，畫的是我在哥倫比亞的家，在大窗前的工作桌（身爲在家工作者，我們挑房子的重點之一就是採光好😉）書裡講我自己的經歷，也有提到關於自由接案、自由插畫家的工作模式。 《人生就求一次如魚得水》流水號珍藏版，博客來還買得到，連結放自介。 #stayhome #homeisolation #workfromhome #homeoffice #illustration #cinyeechiu #人生就求一次如魚得水 https://www.instagram.com/p/B-Gw6iQHV_i/?igshid=1uqtfkrtyj59l

Happy International Women's Day! This is from an illustration I did for my book, I was mentioning the direction I want to become, so I drew Nausicaa. (Ghibli fan raise your hand! 🙌) Nausicaa is my ideal female role model: beautiful, brave, strong, powerful. There are many types of women's beauty, and I admire the ones coming from inside out. I always feel that women are more caring and fearless than men, and generally more altruistic.
