10. Pushing your muse on the ground

The lawyer just simply shoved the yellow one onto the ground and hovered over him. A crazed grin crept upon his face as he shoves his foot onto the other’s chest, keeping him down.

Jyushimatsu hadn’t expected the other male to touch him, let alone to push him over, so the jester wasn’t able to keep his balance. He fell over with a grunt and before he could get up the other’s foot was on him.

“Do I really belong down here?” he questioned, not attempting to get up after that first time. He knew he wasn’t getting anywhere.

“Huh? I’m just snuggling with you Mister!” The male grinned, eyeing him playfully. “Is that so bad? You seem to be enjoying it.” And he finally pointed out the other’s arousal. “I’m excited too! It’s okay!”

“You… y-you are?” Todomatsu raised an eyebrow, blushing furiously. “N-no, it’s not bad. I do like it…” He guessed it wasn’t bad, but… “W-wait, what if someone else sees? I don’t want someone seeing.”

"I got a trailer we could go back to! My brothers aren't supposed to be back for awhile~" he noted happily, letting go of the other finally. "Lets go?"

Jyushimatsu giggled and kissed his neck. “What do you do, Mister? For a job?” The male pressed closer to him, almost knowingly at this point, a soft hum leaving him as he did.

Todomatsu’s breath hitched, “M-me? I-I don’t… I don’t have a job, exactly–” Was the other toying with him…? It seemed so. He gently set a hand onto Jyushimatsu’s shoulder and bit his lip, “W-wait, what are you doing?”

"Huh? I'm just snuggling with you Mister!" The male grinned, eyeing him playfully. "Is that so bad? You seem to be enjoying it." And he finally pointed out the other's arousal. "I'm excited too! It's okay!"

Todomatsu followed after the other, face still flushed. His arousal wasn’t going away and Jyushimatsu nuzzling him didn’t seem to help. “I-is that so…? Looks pretty interesting.”

Jyushimatsu latched onto the male’s arm without thinking, nuzzling against him and grinning up at him widely. “No! You can stay here! There’s lots of fun stuff here!” if he noticed the other male’s arousal he was ignoring it pretty damn well. “Come on! Lemme show you around! Please?” he gave him the puppy dog eyes, hoping it would sway the newcomer.

Todomatsu tensed, heat rushing to his cheeks. Wow, this guy was really friendly. He fidgeted uncomrotably before nodding once. “O-okay. Alright, show me around.”

Jyushimatsu grinned at that and began showing him around. "This is where we I've the main show!" He hummed, nuzzling his face in the other's neck.

Jyushimatsu had been waiting here for awhile, waiting for his brothers to get back. He saw someone and perked, but stopped. This wasn’t anyone he knew. The jester bounded over, waving as he did. “Hi! Are you new here?” He questioned eagerly. “We’re closed! But you can stay if you want!” He added, humming.

Shit, someone spotted him. Totty flinched, peering over at the jester. “Uh– y-yes, I’m actually lost. I-I was just looking around.” He hoped the other wouldn’t notice his arousal; that’d be embarrassing. He cleared his throat and turned slightly, “Maybe I should go…”

Jyushimatsu latched onto the male’s arm without thinking, nuzzling against him and grinning up at him widely. “No! You can stay here! He hated it when he got like this. He was in a mood, and he was… lost. Todomatsu had absolutely no idea where he was, but it looked to be some kind of weird circus. A dark circus. It looked… deserted… maybe he could take care of his issue by himself here, and then he could just head back home.

…those words stung, even though the vampire didn’t know this guy. Ichimatsu doubted either one of them would be able to forget about this; they just so happened to be soulmates. It was destiny… or fate. Weren’t they the same thing, anyway? 

He twiddled his thumbs and sighed, “I don’t think it’s that simple.”

“Oh. …what do you do there?” Ichimatsu was trying to get to know Totty better, at least. It was something, better than not saying anything.

If Totty was uncomfortable with this though, he’d stop asking questions. “I-I don’t mean to pry or anything… I’m just kinda curious.”

“I’m a fortune teller, and s-sometimes I run game booths too.” he explained, not nervous about answering those questions.

“We’re like a family, we--” he stopped, then seemed upset again. “I’m gonna have to tell Aniki about this oh god--”

“I… yeah. I understand. It’s really weird.” Ichimatsu closed his eyes, “Who knows, though? M-maybe we’ll grow to… y’know… love each other, or something.”

He didn’t want to just give up on this. He was confused and scared, but this guy was his actual soulmate. “Totty.” He repeated and opened one eye. “Where are you from?”

Todomatsu slumped visibly, hugging himself. Of course he knew that they couldn’t change anything, but he wished that they could. He didn’t want a soulmate, especially someone he didn’t know. He didn’t want to feel forced into some kind of random relationships, also–

“You probably deserve someone better th-than me, we should just… I dunno what we should do…”

“I-I could say the same thing. I… I’m not sure what we should do, either. I didn’t even believe in soulmates before.”

Ichimatsu chose to stare down at the floor, rubbing the back of his neck. “I’m Ichimatsu. Maybe we should start off with names? I dunno.”

There was a cage with a large cloth draped over it. It looked lonely, out of the light…But the creature staying inside of it was left to settle down in his new home.

Muzzled the large wolf  stayed curled up in a small corner of his cage, giving a whine as the reporter stopped in front of his cage. This person..he didn’t smell like he was one of those…circus freaks. Maybe he could be helped?…Ah but who would save a werewolf? Who would believe him anyway..?

But it’s still worth a try.

Choromatsu had never seen this cage out here before, which was weird, seeing as he kept records of everything within the circus.

He heard the whine and jumped-- was there an animal here? The reporter blinked a few times before he pulled the cloth from the cage. Oh, he wasn’t sure what he was looking at, but he knew it wasn’t natural. He didn’t touch the cage, worried despite the muzzle.

It seemed so unhappy.

“...poor thing.” maybe he could help?

oh a circus, how lovely. typically she wasn’t much for these sort of events - but in the case of this one, filled with attractive young men. well, she’d made an exception to go out of her way to observe and gush over. maybe - just maybe, if she was lucky enough one of them would talk to her!

the potential made her giggle and hug herself in delight. or if even attractive guy in general started talking to her - the very idea made her heart race in her chest! what if she made the first move - a bold idea! now she had to, maybe this would be like one of her otome ahhh~

but she was awkward. and although she had the heart of a hopeless romantic, she had the anxiety the size of a whale. still - she didn’t get herself all gussied up for an evening out at the circus for nothing ! and so, the glasses clad female approached the closest potential target of flirtation, a hand gently adjusting her glasses as she gave her attempt at a coy smile.

“ so…what are your thoughts on this whole circus gig, hmm ? “

One of the shows had just ended around fifteen minutes ago, so all the performers were scattering about the circus to either perform for smaller groups or to just relax. Jyushimatsu and Ichimatsu had went off together, but the animal tamer had ditched the jester suddenly, muttering something about a cat he had seen in the crowds.

So Jyushimatsu was alone. He wasn’t in full costume anymore so he would be performing for people, yet he still stood out in the bright yellow outfit and with the mask on his face, so he supposed that’s why he was suddenly approached.

Oh! She was kinda cute too! When she questioned how he felt about the ‘circus gig’ a wide smile came back to the male’s face. If there was one topic he could always get excited about it was his job. Though, he wondered if she knew that he worked here or not.

“It’s really fun~” he began. “You get to see lots of places and learn new things!”
