Barely 17 and already garnering up some buzz, Låpsley started showing herself track by track a few months back - latest effort Station does the trick and seems to properly launch her career. The Liverpool-based producer and singer (kids don’t need anyone to help them nowadays) does everything herself; proof of that most of her songs are duets.. with herself, as she pitches down half of the vocals to create an unique take on every song. The result is a beautifully sparse little gem that producer-wise sounds like an ambient Bipp by the enigmatic Sophie.
