I know some of these are harmless trolls but by your reaction to the spider man one, it makes me think you DON’T know what these QR code’s contain and it is extremely irresponsible to take these from god knows where and post them via memes. The current crisis in Haiti is an example of how designing Constitutions can pose large, unexpected problems. The Haitian constitution says that a President takes office “on the February 7 following the date of the elections.” However, the current President Jovenel Moïse won a first round of elections in 2015, which were marred by irregularities. It wasn’t until 2016 that the second round was held, which he also won; he took office on February 7, 2017. 

But because there were two rounds of elections in separate years, there is now disagreement about which round of elections the Constitutional phrase “the date of the elections” refers to, and thus when Moïse’s five-year term ends: either February 2021 (which would be the case if one goes off of the 2015 election), or February 2022 (the case if one goes off the 2016 elections).

Because Moïse has remained in power past the February 2021 date that many believe should have marked the end of his term, there is now widespread protest against his administration, at times turning into clashes between his supporters and opponents. The situation is made worse because Moïse recently issued decrees removing three members of Haiti’s Supreme Court and replacing them with his own judges, tainting the legitimacy of any ruling made by the nation’s highest court on the matter.

A rural First Nations community in Alaska has lost its’ only potable water source as of January in freezing weather. The laundromat was the ONE community location to get clean water. They rely on river water and donations right now.

There is an Amazon wishlist with cleaning products, formula, small electric-free washers for elderly + disabled people, washing buckets and water-carrying buckets, and hand tools to cut through the ice in the river to access water, amongst other things.

The Tuluksak Native Community is a Yup'ik Tribal Government in Tuluksak, Alaska. They have a 30%+ positive COVID rate.

Please help me and my family

Hii I’m Rae, I’m peruvian, I’m partially blind and I have ADHD, I’m an animation student but for over a year I haven’t been able to study because of covid. My dad was left unemployed by the pandemic and I haven’t been able to get a job since I have no experience and I haven’t graduated yet. My dad has diabetes and my mom is inmunosupressed, she’s the only one with a stable job, she’s a teacher.

We made our own little bakery and we´re working hard to make it grow but now the government has declared complete lockdown again, which means we cannot make deliveries and since we don’t live near the center we won’t get orders.

We don’t have money for my education, the appointments to the doctor, the new glasses I need to see (I only have vision in one eye and its poor so I need thick glasses) or sleep medication I need because of ADHD.

My family has been struggling but we’ve tried our best to keep working, we now have a nice little bakery, we make different types of bread, pizzas, desserts, chocolates and snacks. But we still need help, specially now, I’m leaving some pictures of what we’ve made lately.

I know everyone is struggling right now but I’m begging you, if you´re able to donate just a little please do, if you can’t, please reblog.
