there is so much beauty in road trips tbh like driving past neon lights and looking at the stars and getting out of the car to get gas and snacks at 2am and driving past red rocks and fresh air and seeing the moon while listening to music that makes you feel a certain way idk UGH

why does add/adhd go undiagnosed so often it would've improved my school performance in high school exponentially if I had been aware of it at all before the end of my junior year no one ever noticed that i had it even though i always admitted to being easily distracted and not paying attention but I was making good enough grades that I didn't raise any alarm but it just wouldve helped so much to know about it? And it seems really under diagnosed for "gifted" kids because everyone just assumes they're bored because they're smart and that's why they aren't paying attention but that's such a bad excuse
