You ever imagined if Jeha (K2) took Junmo’s role in The Worst Of Evil ? Sharing a thought because I wonder if Jeha would go against the union immediately. It would be such a bizarre timeline. Like switching bodies I suppose. Anyways. I adore your writing. Currently reading The Albatross. Which reminds me…how do you come up with such titles?

That IS an interesting thought because even though Jeha arguably had a much more difficult life than Junmo, he's a much more selfless person with a strong moral compass. If he took this assignment, he'd definitely see it to the end but I don't think he'd have the same conflict about it as Junmo. In canon, he was able to work with Yoojin in order to achieve his goals but I don't think he ever developed the kind of feelings for her the way Junmo did with Gicheul. Anyway I like Jeha but this is exactly why I think Junmo is the better character (possibly jcw's best character ever.) The amount of conflict between the light and the darkness inside of him is what makes the ending so tragic and so profound.

Also, hey I'm so glad to hear from someone reading The Albatross!! I wrote all that knowing like 5 people would care so it's good to get a message from one of them 😆 When I come up with titles, I usually take a line of prose from the story itself or just try to come up with something that captures the core concept of the story and themes. With The Albatross, however, there is a very specific reason why it's titled this way, but that reason will not be explained for several more chapters. You'll just have to keep reading and see for yourself 🙂‍↕️
