everyday someone denies that anaxa is a su variant i lose a bit of my life
hsr × hi3 dev interview talked about core characters when it came to variants and such. the core part of su's character is that he believes gods shouldn't have the right to decide humanity's fate; people should be free to make their own choices. it's the same for vita: [from sa's boss fight] "divinity is not omnipotent. divinity can be challenged. divinity will fall eventually."
and i know people are also iffy on haitham. but do people forget that mihoyo has already confirmed genshin to be part of the honkaiverse or what. the core part of haitham's character is the same: he believes that gods are really just the same as any other living thing. everyone has the right to live how /they/ want to, and that shouldn't be dictated by anyone else. he is ultimately a su variant, too.
again. it's the exact same for anaxa, just as it is for the other three: anaxa does not believe in the prophecy, nor does he worship the titans because he believes that humanity should make their own choices—not rely on divinity to dictate their lives. and even looking past his core character, anaxa adopts so many other qualities the su variants have, design-wise, lore-wise, and personality-wise. it's really right in your face.
sometimes i dislike something but everyone else who hates it seemingly hates it for only insane person reasons

Finished the Feixiao and Hoolay questline a few days ago and I'm still thinking about it.
"Feixiao, I kept my promise. At the cost of this insignificant life..." INSIGNIFICANT MY ASS I can think of 3 different people off the top of my head who would disagree with that statement, Jiaoqiu!
The contrast of Feixiao not caring how long she lives vs Jiaoqiu doing everything he can to give her a future free of the Moon Rage hanging over her head
Moze telling Dan Heng, the Trailblazer, and Hanya that "there's nothing you can do for [Jiaoqiu] now, and his safety shouldn't be one of your priorities" (and Dan Heng reacting understandably badly to that), but then as the quests go on, what does he spend most of his time doing? Trying to rescue Jiaoqiu, and even facing Hoolay alone to do so (though that attempt ultimately failed).
Feixiao expressing her grief and regret for what Jiaoqiu suffered (which is in stark contrast to how unconcerned she pretended to be earlier in conversation with Yanqing) and the way he brushes it off, because it wasn't in vain and his eyesight is a small price to pay for Feixiao's salvation and Hoolay's death
The fact that when Jiaoqiu was hanging out by the ocean at the alchemy commission, Moze wasn't far behind him and he didn't even know it until Feixiao came by to promise to find someone or something that can restore his sight and Moze interrupted to swear vengeance for Jiaoqiu
Honestly these three make me SICK (affectionate)
too many people seem to think certain ships would officially start going out and put a label on their relationship and sometimes even go so far as to get married. but most of the time said ships would really just be freaks and fuck weirdstyle without addressing the elephant in the room that is the mutual romantic attraction

I recently did a 30 day challenge! here are some of my favourite drawings i did
I would like to do 60 or even 100 day in the future, but for now i realise i have a LOT to learn before that point, it is truly crazy to make a full illustration every day. im still happy i did it, im much less precious about my art and it really singled out what my weaknesses are... and i think im able to draw much faster now, which is why i did the challenge to begin with
I think next time i do this i will try and stream it👍
“And no wonder, for satan himself disguises as an angel of light…”
(The redraw on its own, comparison is in a separate post)
I hate when anime fans refer to the woman cast as a harem to the man protagonist when it's clearly not the case. Like no matter how complex the woman characters are and their feelings towards the protagonist, it's just dumbed down to being a 'harem'. Even if it's just them having slightly positive feelings towards him.
I hate it as a joke bc some of allyuh still can't see these characters as their own outside of the man.
I'm talking about re:zero but this applies to alot of fanbases. This is often by fans that are men.
