Codeine

I did a cold water extraction on some T3s. I used a coffee filter and after that I used a syringe filter. The use of a syringe filter was an unnecessary step but I just wanted to see if the water would become clear (which it did). 

Drank about 300mg of codeine. What I found was that codeine makes you really itchy through the release of histamine. In my case, my scalp itched really bad for about 15 minutes. Itching is really common with opiates. And in the past I had instances where I got itchy on heroin but it was at a lesser extent.

Caloric foods cause levels of insulin in the brain to spike. Although the mechanism is not completely understood, it seems to trigger a vicious cycle that ultimately results in dementia.

Let’s just say I’m done for the season. I was down-climbing on a boulder about my size and it gave way. I fell with the boulder for about 30 feet down Mount Rae. I was very close to the summit of this 10 000+ foot peak. There was blood everywhere. My mountaineering partner managed to find some other scramblers who had an emergency GPS device. I had to be airlifted down the mountain, put into an ambulance and taken to a major hospital. I broke two bones, have a concussion, and my body is covered with abrasions and bruises. I have open cuts everywhere. I can’t walk or put my hair in a ponytail. Everything hurts and when I try to walk, I end up screaming due to the broken fibula and fractured collar bone. I am lucky to be alive and expect a full recovery.

Research Explains How Alcohol is a Carcinogenic Almost 30 years after discovery of a link between alcohol consumption and certain forms of cancer, scientists are reporting the first evidence from research on people explaining how the popular beverage may be carcinogenic. The results, which have special implications for hundreds of millions of people of Asian descent, were reported at the 244th National Meeting & Exposition of the American Chemical Society. Silvia Balbo, who led the study, explains that the human body breaks down, or metabolizes, the alcohol in beer, wine and hard liquor. One of the substances formed in that breakdown is acetaldehyde, a substance with a chemical backbone that resembles formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a known human carcinogen. Scientists also have known from laboratory experiments that acetaldehyde can cause DNA damage, trigger chromosomal abnormalities in cell cultures and act as an animal carcinogen. A report on piracetam

A few months ago, I tried the nootropic piracetam for the first time, and had a fantastic experience with it. Wanting to replicate that first time, I looked it up on the internet, but found very little research on piracetam as a nootropic and a lot of wildly variant and contradictory recommendations by users. So, wanting to find out for myself what worked best, I started systematically experimenting with piracetam (and taking detailed notes) to try to find out what its effects were, what the right dose was, and how to combine it with choline.
