It’s annoying I have to subscribe to multiple services to get everything I want.

It’s annoying when they cancel the good shows.

It’s annoying when they hide the “continue watching”tab.

What I refuse to stand by, however, is their overall inability to have a consistent

“Skip recap”

“Skip intro”

“Skip credits/to next episode”

format across the board!!! One ep you’ll be watching, the “skip intro” will show up 2 seconds before the intro is over. A Marvel movie “skip credits” will skip you to the end, past the mid-credits bit, but the next one you watch will.

Binging a show should auto-skip the fucking recap because they know you’ve been watching this shit for 7 hours straight, who tf needs a recap??! “Are you still watching?” Yes, bitch, I am, and you’ve made me sit through 8 recaps I already know, cause I cbf finding my remote!

Rewatching HSM, I have a few points to make

1. Troy was my teenage dream

2. Gabriella was my high school dream

3. Both are still my dream

4. I so very much wish grown-up life was like this, accepting everyone for their differences and loving them

5. Life after high school is exactly like what the first 30mins of the first movie is like. Everyone has a clique, and if anyone steps out, now ostracised.

6. Lets all make life more accepting to everyone. Give the people not like you a chance. They may be more like you than you think.

7. Goddamn I miss when life was that easy.

The trope where a character overhears something out of context and assumes the worst is usually annoying and bad but I really think it works well in Shrek

We, the audience, know that Fiona is talking about herself but, regardless, she’s calling herself these terrible things because she is an ogre. If Fiona is these things because she is is an ogre what does that make Shrek?

If Fiona says no one could love her because she is an ogre, she is saying that Shrek is also unloveable whether she wants to or not.

Imo the scene is a really good portrayal of how when you talk poorly of yourself or others for having a trait, you’re also talking about every other person who shares that trait; even if you love them or think what you’re saying doesn’t apply to them.

How often do our pets, and other animals understand something we, as humans, do not?

We presume there is no “intelligent” life on our planet, because we cannot communicate on our wavelength. We presume there is no “intelligent” life within our scope in the universe, because nobody has responded in our languages.

Intelligence breaches the confines of human knowledge. Intelligence rests within a spiritual plane of recognition and empathy that exceeds the bounds of communication, and can only be recognised when people realise no creature is above or below the point of emotion and recognition, and all life is equal, despite natural predator/prey relations.

Some forms of life rely on consuming others to survive, some must be consumed by others to maintain their sustainability. It is the way of the world. All have a consciousness and care for those around them, if they didn’t every species on this planet would have ceased to exist.

There is a balance, and to recognise that balance is to be truly neutral. To believe one being is above another due to ability to communicate is to be selfish.

Most of the through, what is turning into, a month-long binge of The Walking Dead. First few seasons my faves were Glenn, Carol, and Daryl. Then Maggie & Abraham added themselves to the list.

Others gave come & gone from my “I like you” phases, like Tara, Carl, and Deanna.

At the start of season 8 now, confirmed “would die for you” list is at; Carol, Daryl, King Ezekiel, Shiva, and most importantly, Jerry. I still love all the others, to an extent, but Jerry is my ride or die. If anything happens to my dude, I will delete my subscription.
