I painted my senior parking spot that I'm sharing with my friend on Saturday, and I'm SUPER proud of the result! I included space, Owl City, and Harry Potter, since we both love all those things. 😁

I spent over 4 hours working on this spot, with a little help from my parents on the base coat (I did all the details). I got sunburned in multiple places, as well as getting paint all over me and straining my hamstrings for the next two days, but it was so worth it. I love what I do. 💕

This is the result of a project from art class, where we had to paint a cityscape in acrylics using linear perspective. The title is inspired by the Au/Ra song of the same name. 🙂

Oh my stars! I love this song! This painting took a LOT of work, and it's not the greatest, but still pretty good!

So in case you couldn't tell, what you are looking at is a customized composition notebook. It works the same as a basic one, it just looks different (and a lot more fun!). I started doing these things back in August as a back-to-school preparation activity, and it's become one of my favorite things to do.

I actually used a reference image from Inside Out for the stars on the front cover, using the star-sticker scene in Riley's old bedroom as a guideline for my picture. It's not the greatest and may be a bit rushed because I started this project the night before I had to give it to its ultimate recipient. It was 3:30 AM when I finally finished the notebook. 🤧😴

All is well now, and I'm proud of the result. Let's just hope the receiver I sent it to is happy with it as well. 😁
