Indulge in the rich and creamy flavors of New Orleans with this delightful iced coffee. The combination of cold brew coffee, chicory, and sweetened milk creates a perfect balance of boldness and sweetness.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup coarsely ground coffee beans. 2 cups cold water. 1/4 cup chicory coffee optional. 1/4 cup condensed milk. 1/4 cup whole milk. Ice cubes. Whipped cream optional. Ground cinnamon optional.
Instructions: Put the coarsely ground coffee beans and cold water in a jar or pitcher. Make sure the coffee is fully mixed by stirring it. Let it steep in the fridge overnight, or for at least 12 hours. Cover the jar or pitcher. Use a fine-mesh sieve or coffee filter to strain the coffee mixture into a different jar or container the next day. This will get rid of the grounds. Add the chicory coffee to the strained coffee and make sure it's well mixed. Put the condensed milk and whole milk in a different container. Mix everything together well. To serve, put ice cubes in a glass and pour the cold brewed coffee over them, leaving some room at the top. Add the milk mixture until it's as sweet and creamy as you like it. You could add whipped cream and ground cinnamon on top if you want to. Enjoy your New Orleans-style iced coffee after you stir it!
