Verrill has a tendency to put on an act at work as a personable and meek person. In reality, he is cold and self serving. He carries a notebook whereever he goes and he is always writing. Verrill believes that playing the weak is easier for him to get what he wants than showing his true self. He enjoys social climbing and believe that genuine human connections are inconsequential to his goal.
