Secrets are like cake

Sharing the secrets and thoughts that occupy my grey matter. I live in the south of Sweden, have green eyes, put my foot in my mouth on a daily basis and love to laugh.

It’s going to be a few road trips this summer. Good thing the dogs don’t seem to mind.

I plan to do a lot of relaxing this summer, but I also plan on having a lot of fun.

Sometimes, it is the smallest things that make you pause and appreciate that you are alive.

I really hope going on a six hour road trip with two dogs and two cats in the car wont turn out to be a disaster.

I’ve been taking a break from everything and writing stories instead. It’s such a rush to have others reading what you’ve created, but at the same time it’s scary. Sharing your thoughts and fantasies with others.

In an age with texted communication this is especially true.

I’ve been stressed out over writing my thesis, but taking the time to plan to finish later has actually made me more relaxed about all of it. I’m not going to turn something in that I’m not at least somewhat satisfied with.

So I was sitting in class, getting ready to sketch, when our teacher walked around making sure everyone had a sheet of plywood under their sketch pad as we were working just from our chairs. Then she called out “does everyone have a hard backside?” and I just could not help myself and giggling I answered: “not yet, but maybe after the summer I will”. I’m going to miss that class.

Really enjoyed the first one and the sequel was good as well.

One of my favorite desserts. Dates mixed with ground nuts and coconut oil, peanut butter, sliced bananas and coconut chocolate mousse. So yummy!

So, I’ll be presenting my art project for class today. It feels a bit personal to share the things I've made. Eeek!

Next time I’ll make sure to schedule in more time for hiking.
