My favorite Supermassive game, the one that started it all for me!
And I love every part of it, every character, every choice and their consequence.
I really liked your until dawn kinnie bingos. Could you possibly do some more supermassive game ones? And other video game ones if you like more than just the supermassive games. Thank you so much! (Me and my friend had such fun doing them!!)
Hiii! Thank you soooo much for your question and your comment! It's so nice and I was very surprised! ♡
This account is unfortunately inactive now because I don't go to tumblr anymore... But it means the world to me to know that my very old posts can still make some people happy ^^ You and your friend are adorable ♡ I would be thrilled to know what your results were.
So, even if I would like to say yes, the answer is no, I will probably not do it, sorry... :( But just being curious, if I were to do it just for you, what video games would you like me to do bingos kinnies of? In the Dark Pictures anthology or not.
Anyway, you made my day, thank you for this cute notification! 🩷
...isn't it obvious? Or is it just me who's obsessed?
It’s really weird being someone who has been into Until Dawn since the game’s initial release.
On one hand we’re getting a movie and a remake which we should feel happy about. In fact, if you asked me 5 years ago how I felt about that I would’ve been SO excited.
On the other hand… it doesn’t exactly look promising. The original studio isn’t involved in the remake, and it SHOWS even just from the trailer. The movie I won’t say too much on because we really don’t know anything yet.
All in all it’s a very weird experience. There’s going to inevitably be some form of Until Dawn renaissance which should be a good thing because we’ve been talking for years about how small the fandom is, but that also means we’re going to have the tag filled with endless posts hating on the girls again.
I want to be excited, but im also kinda dreading it.
Hi @ifmyheartwasacanvas ! Since I can't send videos when reblogging I'll just reply with a post on your question about this:
I may be a little late, but I think you're referring to this scene.
I couldn't put the English subtitles on but I hope it'll be clear enough anyway. ^^
If you're a big fan of the Supermassive games, I would like to know :
What really got you into the fandom?
The scenario of one or several games
The choices of one or several games
A character in particular
A couple/ship in particular
The studio's horror style
A fanart, an edit or a fancfiction
Others (in the comments or tags ^^)
It's time for a fun fact
While playing “The Quarry” in French, I noticed a slight change of translation during the credits, especially the last line on Max’s one when Laura is dead but he’s still waiting on the island.
The English text says : “Max was cured [...] He waits for Laura, unaware of her fate.”
The French text, however, could be translated as : “Max was finally cured [...] He waits on the island for a love that will never come back...”
✨French dramatism✨
Until dawn kinnie bingo
After many hours of discussion and editing, here is a fun idea to see wich Until dawn characters is your biggest kin.
(All this according to official information or headcanons of many fanfictions that I read since a few years.)
Oh and of course the pronouns can change, you don't need to have the same gender as the character to see yourself in them.
Anyway, I'll probably do this for the other supermassive games... (if I have the courage)
Being a very sensitive, anxious and, above all, fearful person, I have been told so many times to stop overreacting. But I am just like that.
Ashley is and will always be my favorite Until dawn character. It's nice to be able to see myself in her. We are really the same in almost every way. So, here goes, that's it.
Just wanted to say it's NORMAL to be afraid.
Warning: gory images and spoilers.
Can I say how much of a fan I am of characters killing each other?
I mean, everyone keeps saying "This is horrible, my god they're so awful for doing this or that..." but I personally love it! I think it's awesome that each character is so unique and human.
And in the end, it's the player's choices that that cause the deaths, we are the ones responsible for the horrors of the game.
I just learned to literally love anything about until dawn, even the bad "betrayals".
What is your favorite death in the Supermassive games?
Burned (Like Mike, Rachel, Charlie...)
By having the jaw being ripped off (Like Jess, Ryan...)
By having the head being torn off (Like Ashley, Chris, Laura...)
Betrayed by trusted people (Like Salim, Abi...)
By falling or being impaled (Like Conrad, Eric, Jamie...)
By a bullet or a gunshot (Like Emily, Angela, Travis...)
By suffocation/choking (Like Julia, Taylor...)
With an object "in the face" (Like Matt, Daniel, Erin...)
By having the head "exploded" or sort of crushed (Like Josh, Jason...)
Others (You can put in the comments or tags if you want ^^)
I really couldn't put everything in the pull (Like the death where they get torn apart by monsters like Sam, Dylan, Kaitlyn, etc...). But I have at least added some examples; among many others; to help you choose. I think "the best" death is when a character has his head ripped off. The few seconds when the expression of the face can still change… every time it gives me chills.
Because the Supermassive games are my home, my safe place ♡
A lot of people around me don't understand at all why I feel comforted by horror games when I'm a total coward, but that's okay. I'm just so happy to have discovered them!
Literally my life revolves around them. I can't be the only one this obsessed... right?
Anyway, I wish you all a Happy new year! ♡ ...and may Directive 8020 be good...
Which death has disappointed you the most in your games?
And in my defense, most of these deaths are not entirely my fault.
It was my brother's Until dawn game, I was just watching.
I was only playing Julia in Man of Medan, so not my fault.
AND even though it was a group decision it was my cousin who played Laura so I blame him for both of our favorite characters dying (and poor Travis).
(all the others are on me...)
Will I ever stop editing this scene... probably not.
I mean, the writers of House of Ashes were on fire when they wrote the game.
Ok, fun fact! (or unpopular opinion, I don't know)
In my first game, I may have been one of the only ones who didn't break in the huts to get the bags at the beginning. So, Dylan did wonderfully well.
However! In my opinion, that scene in the radio hut is 100 times more terrifying if you don't break in. Of course the whole chainsaw thing is horrible. BUT. If Dylan doesn't get bitten, Ryan literally GOES OUT and the werewolf jumps on him no matter what you do! Because you can't shoot him, there is no target! The only reason Ryan doesn't die is because Dylan turns on the speaker right before his boyfriend gets his throat ripped out.
Seriously, I had a heart attack at this point in the game. Oh, and after I finished my game I couldn't understand any of the fanarts of Dylan with his hand missing until I played again... That was fun.
Ok so, you know that trend from a while ago when people said that your soulmate was born 139 days after you?
December 5th is exactly 139 days from July 19th.
Which means
They ARE soulmates.
I don't know whose idea it was to do this at Supermassive Games, or if it was even intentional (it can't just be a coincidence, they know what they were doing); but I just love them so much for that.
