Gwen laughed at that and smiled. Â âDefinitely you yes, but thank you,â she replied. Â Some times it was better not to argue. Oh she knew she wasnât an ugly duckling but she was pretty whereas the lady in front of her was gorgeous, there was a difference. Â But, the customer was always right, right?
She finished up the drink and set it gently in front of Clarissa. Â âSome yes but some skills are very good to have too,â she countered with a quick wink. Â They held each otherâs attention for the briefest of moment and it made her smile again. Â âYouâre welcome, Miss. Â I hope itâs up to expectations.â Â She wiped off the counter and put the cloth back. Â âMonths now, wow. Â And you write, well I will have to check out your books. Â This does seem like a good place to write though for sure.â
Gwen had a carefree air about her that intrigued Clarissa. The woman herself was wholly uninhibited and most of the time she liked it that way. She spent so much time pondering words to put on a page that it left little brain power for the more mundane. Plus she loved attention and the art of provoking a reaction from people. There was a power in that she fed off of, surely.
âI guess Iââll be the judge of those skills,â the blonde half-joked as she sipped her simple drink. She placed the glass down with a pleased smile on her mouth but said nothing about it. âYes, well⊠when the luxury can be affordedâŠwhy not take it?â She talked with her hands a bit now. âThatâs what I always say.â Claire nodded. âIt has been very â inspirational, shall we say?â She grinned mischievously at Gwen and then said, âYou can find my books in the library here. I slipped them into the collection a few weeks back â and your drink,â the blonde added finally when she took her third or fourth sip. âIs excellentâŠâ
âIn the mood to play?â Claire asked the girl in the cell. As usual she had picked someone at random. She liked coming down to the basement when sheâd heard new slaves came in. It was an exciting prospect to say the least. âWhatâs your name, cutie? Hmm?â She kept up her peppering of curious questions, making it clear she wasnât going away any time soon.Â
@deexxwong
âMistress I can do. Iâm not particularly masochistic so Iâll avoid that last one.â He was a little surprised to know she was married, but made no comment because it was clearly out of his place. He only listened carefully as they rode the elevator.
Following quickly since he doubted he wanted her to fall behind, he quickly bent over to get the card for her holding it out for her, unaware of her gaze. Wiping it off on his pants, he handed it back to her with a smile.
She smiled at him, though it was more of a wry look than anything. âI was kidding,â she spoke dryly.Â
âNo,â Claire made no effort to take the key card. âYou open it.â She waited until he did and then moved pasted him into the room. She found a seat on the couch but did not invite Garrett to do the same. âStrip,â said simply. Patience was never Claireâs strong suit.
âAny girl,â Claire had told the person on the phone when they asked for specifics about the slave she wanted. âWell...a delicate one..â she clarified, her fickle mind changing quickly. Her thanks was brief before she hung up to wait for her surprise to be delivered to her suite door.Â
She was glad when the strong knock came quickly. She was dressed from the shower, hair still damp. Her lingerie was simple, and her silk robe was open. It fluttered when she pulled the door open and her gaze landed on a redhead standing in front of a bulky guard. âWell..well,â she smirked. âWhat might your name be?â
@bella-morgan
She nodded as the very put together woman repeated her name. Â She usually went by Gwen so hearing her full name gave her pause. Â Gwen liked it well enough, it was more habit than anything. Â She wanted to make good impressions and get to know the regulars; she found that if she knew their preferences, learned about them, even befriended them, the relationship between bartender and patron would be even better.
The compliments were unexpected though and Gwen couldnât help but blush a little as she reached for a glass.  âThank you⊠thatâs, hmm, very nice of you to say.  Too hot, not sure about that.  Maybe you, then yes.â She may blush from compliments but she wasnât adverse to giving her own and flirting a bit.  âI hope I got the job on skill as much as that then or there could be trouble if  have a bad hair day or something.  âG&T with three lovely limes, coming up.â
She went about to mixing the drink, glad that it wasnât too busy just yet. Â âHave you been here long?â
âMe - definitely,â Claire replied playfully. âBut also you,â she had to insist. As vain as the woman could be she also loved to butter people up. This was the part that made up for her horrible temper that could flare in less flattering moments when the blonde didnât get her way.Â
âSkills are overrated,â she teased. Still, Clarissa laughed lightly at Gwenâs joke. She was cute. That was sure. Taking her drink when it was done Claire held eye contact for a moment. âThank you, sweet thing. Me? Oh. A couple months. Iâm working on my next book. I figured this would be as good of a place as any.â
Rose pulled back, sitting once more in the chair across from Claire and crossing her legs. She smoothed her skirt down before answering. She loved Claire, she did, but there were timesâŠÂ âWhy on earth would I have mentioned this place to her, Claire? Iâve never said a word to her about any of your business, personal or professional.â
âBesides, I thought maybe you already knew, and if you didnât, I didnât want to disturb you with the news until I could talk to you in person. I thought maybe it would be better for you to hear it directly from me instead of through the grapevine.â
âIt seems too coincidental!â Claire retorted rudely. âYou canât blame me for wondering!â Because she was still arguing, it took a moment to realize was she regretting flinching away from Roseâs touch now. She wanted her back. The blonde was too stubborn to say it.Â
âUgh..!â was the only sound she could make at her former assistantâs perfectly respectable reasoning. Claire could come up with an argument but she didnât bother. This was Dahliaâs fault. Not the woman she loved. The author combed her fingers through the front of her hair, still pissed off and trying to distract herself. âAt least tell me you think she looked haggard too,â she said with a mean little smile. âDid you know the divorce rumors are true? Cherry totally left her.â Her words were mean spirited and mirthful. Clarissa had always been a gossip, which was why she was easily handpicked to be a Real Housewife of the Hamptons and stayed on for a few seasons. It had been great publicity despite all the drama, both staged and real. âI donât know why I ever doubted the rumors, honestly.â
âThank you.â He said politely, not wanting to overstep his bounds with her. It was clear she had a short temper and he didnât want to get her mad. He nodded his head at her advice, not saying anything but clearly paying attention. âIâm afraid I donât know your name.â
He was never much into pop culture, since he was pretty poor. Aside from school, he mostly kept to himself. Even when he had a minimum wage job he kept his head down and just clocked in and out.
âClarissa Cartwright. -- You can call me Claire. Or Mistress. Occasionally I also answer to âbitchâ.â She joked. âBut I wouldnât suggest you try that one. Mostly save that for my husband.â It sounded bad but she was mostly being outrageous for effect. This was how Clarissa always was. Fame only exacerbated her already huge personality.Â
When the elevator doors parted Claire led Garrett to her room. She purposefully flicked to room keycard to the floor to make him pick it up. She wanted a look at him from that positioning. âYou can get that.â There was no room for a question in her words.
Rose smiled slowly. She hoped Claire wouldnât leave her with that much energy as well, but she wasnât about to tell her that. âWeâll see. Youâll really have to try to wear me out, wonât you?â
She stood up, already beginning to unbutton her shirt. âIâve got it.â She smiled, stripping out of her clothes quickly and efficiently before heading to the living room and sitting at the head of the dining table. She made herself comfortable, looking around for Claire.
âNot too hard, I donât think,â the blonde replies confidently. Claire stared at Rose as she left, each layer of clothing left in a neat pool by the door of the bedroom they often shared.
When Rose was gone Claire set to work. She dressed herself and picked out multiple toys and other extras from her stash in the bottom dresser drawer. The outfit would serve as a prize at the end. The blonde planned to blindfold her lover for most of their scene -- a thought that truly excited her, making her stomach flutter.Â
âI canât carry all this..â she mumbled to herself before she made it within earshot of her waiting partner. âFuck,â she dropped some of it and then set the rest of it down there. When she walked out she was in a robe with the silk scarf she had been wearing earlier in hand. âSit back, princess,â she purred coming up behind Rose. She placed her freehand on her shoulder. âFirst thingâs first,â she kissed the side of her face before carefully tying the expensive folded up garment over Roseâs eyes. âCan you see?â she asked to check.
Haley flinched as the wand touched her arm, and laughed sheepishly when no shock came. She wasnât scared, it was justâŠweird. A soft smile hung on her lips as the mistress began to undress her, always pleased when someone took charge of her body.Â
âI guess then I am,â she said light, helping to lift her tank top over her head. Blonde hair tumbled down as it felt to the floor. âI just donât want any scarsâŠâ
Her trick worked and Claire let out a low, short chuckle when Haley jumped a bit. âSo cute,â she teased under her breath. âI think youâll be able to take it. -- I can, so..â Really, that meant nothing. Claire hardly knew Haley. The Mistressâ own tolerance for pain and roughness was very high. She loved to test limits.
âI wouldnât scar you. Only mark you, maybe. I donât know. I donât really operate on any kind of plan. Iâm not in the mood for knives or any of that shit today, though.â Her hands went inside her pants, not bothering to unbutton them or say anything about it. She cupped and grabbed her. âYouâre content with being mine for now?â she growled in her ear possessively before sucking on the lobe.Â
Gwen was excited to finally start her first shift. Â She liked to keep busy but she also wanted to make a good impression on others, show that she deserved to be there. Â Sheâd gotten there early to assess things, not sure who else would be working. Â Gwen noticed a few people here and there, one guy at the bar, but most just moving through the bar to other destinations. Â Putting the last glass sheâd been drying down, she turned to find someone else was at the bar. Â And was motioning for her. Â âHello Miss. Â No Iâm not Piper. Â Gwendolyn Dupres, pleased to meet you.â Â She laughed nervously. Get to know her, well that was different, not that she wasnât used to be propositioned or hit on my patrons. Â But the ones here were decidedly different from the ones sheâd known before. Â âWhat can I get you?â
âGwendolyn,â Claire repeated pleased to hear the name sheâd typed and talked about one thousand times before. It was the name of one of her most beloved characters. She was a fan favorite, but not a main character in the famed authorâs YA trilogy. She was currently in talks to write a second set of books about her Gwen, a sassy werewolf girl.Â
âPleased to meet you as well. Do you know youâre quite beautiful? Almost too hot. Though Iâm sure they do that on purpose -- part of the business model and all.â Claire could ramble easily. âGin and tonic. Light on the tonic. Three limes, please.â
