Miss Quill mutters to herself and strides out of the lounge into the hallway and stops so abruptly at the entrance to the dining room that Tanya bumps into her. Charlie and Matteusz are snogging. Charlie is sitting on the dining-room table with Matteusz standing between his knees. Charlie wraps his legs around Matteusz’s and draws him nearer. Miss Quill opens her mouth to speak but Tanya digs her in the ribs.
