I think it's a sort of universal artist experience to have a long period in those learning or younger years where you would finish a piece and feel satisfaction only to later then look back on it and be unable to view it without feeling embarrassed or disgust. Things that you were very proud of suddenly become insanely flawed within the next day or so. I think I spent very many years feeling like this. And I think the way that I slowly stopped it no matter what my at the time strategy was for my creation process is that when I made a picture that I really did like I would just keep looking at it. I would finish a picture and listen to music and just stare at it for hours sometimes and think about it sometimes I fell asleep looking at works because I wanted to fall asleep thinking about them, and I think slowly over time growing to love your work as you love other peoples work will have you looking at your work without flaw as you view others work without flaw. You will feel truly something wonderful when you become your own inspiration after spending so long thinking you're only a sum of stolen parts.
