Headcanon - Neatness

To the casual observer 221b Baker Street is a mess, books, Petri dishes, broken tea cups and plants strewn everywhere, scattered papers and casefiles pinned to the walls, attached by an intricate web of different coloured threads, but to it’s original occupant, this is organized chaos. Everything has it’s place within the living room, even if it looks as though a small bomb has gone off.

The kitchen is relatively clean, a few dirty dishes left in the sink and on the table out of laziness if nothing else, but they don’t remain there for very long.

Watson’s bedroom is kept tidy with military precision, and there is an unspoken rule between the two friends that neither enter the other’s quarters without direct permission, so the contents of Watson’s room is almost unknown to the resident detective.

Holmes’ room is spotless, the bed is always made, the clothes are always put away. Fayre takes personal hygiene very seriously, she bathes regularly and wears clean, pressed clothes, as well as taking steps to prevent certain feminine assets from being visible, she also uses several colognes, sparingly however, to give a more masculine impression.
