CHLOE BAILEY Main Attraction (Official Street Visualizer)
babessss, they could NEVER make me hate you!! also, Chloe what the hell cause social anxiety where š we š«” a confident queen
MOESHA MITCHELL + Brown Moesha s1-6
they call me a hater first but then i end up being right. When i said that Tyla copies Ayra over & over again, they called me a hater and that im jealous Ayra hasnāt reached her level š like no babe im right š¤·š¾āāļø and was always right about this. Now sheās dropping a song with words similar to Ayra and choreo similar to hers š¤¦š¾āāļø Get over it. Tyla has no original bone in her body. She does something really well in that sheās one hell of a performer, the way she moves on a stage is magnetic (+ sheās pretty) but her songs, the lyrics, the production, her actual voice and damn near everything else is very lackluster in comparison. Like it just is. It especially doesnāt help when Tylaās fanbase is racist/colorist as heck against Ayra. Like youāre not helping your case.
Notice how it's been a day and you got zero likes and comments, "ohh, the song has similar words" Madonna copied Ayra too? Duhhhhh, Ayra doesn't own that title, and many did it before her and got viral before her, not a single original bone about her, also, that Tyla song doesn't even sound like whatever Ayra made. Also, the choreo is not even similar to Ayra, does Ayra even have choreos? She is always doing umlandos (south african dance move) everytime i see her. You always starts as entitled, and ends up wrong, that's the actual thing here. You are never right about this, you never were, you just have a KRUGER DUNNING syndrome. Her actual voice and stuff is even better, and even you admited that she is great performer, while not complimenting Ayra's performance, that tells a lot. Anyways, i've been dealing with people like you before, so whatever answer you have planned in your mind, just know that it won't do shit for me, because i've answered it like, more than 5 times. It's not impressive, not a hot take, not a WOWWWW comeback. I said what i said, i am not going to answer whatever comes after this.
i think itās interesting that you think i did this caring to get the most likes. no, i did this bc your fav is a hack & needs to be called out for stealing and being a copycat. end of story!!
āayra doesnāt own that titleā no way genius, i had no idea 𤨠what really, she doesnāt? Im finding that out for the first time. Im in complete & utter shock. Silly, I wasnāt referring to the song title, more like the entire aesthetics & similar dance moves and the whole nine. like I said and I donāt back down, tyla has no original bone in her body. i said what i said š¤·š¾āāļø ahh so now Ayra doesnāt have choreosšš¤¦š¾āāļø lawdā im gonna leave that one alone. i am completely right and have always been about Tyla & her lack of artistry which is damn near none existent. In fact, itās so non-existent she was struggling and stuttering all over the place when asked about her album & something about how she came up with it. I donāt remember exactly what it was. She doesnāt even have a vision for her own thing bc like i said copycat is what she does best. her voice is not better in any way shape or form. There are several people i could name thatāll body her in a vocal off: jasmine Sullivan, tori Kelly, beyonce, Cynthia Erivo, Chloe & Halle Bailey, Samara Joy, Zara Larrson, Faouzia, & i didnāt even begin to scratch the surface. Those are vocalist but even with your regular singers, there are those whoāll chew her up & spit her out for breakfast & dinner: Ayra Starr, Tems, Kehlani, Olivia Dean, & much more. And the latter ppl mentioned arenāt vocalist just regular singers. thatās a moot point⦠NEXT!!!
No, I didnāt say anything abt Ayraās performance bc i was talking about Tyla not Ayra and i was talking abt Tyla in relation to what i think are her strengths so why would i mention Ayra in that. Ayra is being mentioned bc she (tyla) copycats Ayra & is being used to contrast so no mentioning of Ayraās strengths or weaknesses is needed, duhš¤¦š¾āāļø but if you want my opinion so badly then i think the both of them are equals when it comes to performing on a stage. Theyāre both equally mesmerizing to watch. thatās ok that it wonāt do anything for you, get over it. Your fav remains a copycat whose only ātalentā is being hot and moving on a stage fluidly. Like i said everything outside of that is still largely boring & lackluster. and the tygers remain a racist fanbase so š¤·š¾āāļø also, im done talking to you as well bc ive dealt enough with your kind as well so dont bother respondingā¦
What a privilege it is to age. What a blessing. What a miracle.
This goes out to anyone who has a problem with writers who tend to write Sydney and Carmyās sexual dynamic with Carmy taking a more dominant and active role in their sex lives.
Thereās plenty of gross mischaracterizing going around in the fandom but thatās not even what Iām here to speak about. I am fed up with people thinking that they are doing some kind of cape crusade by speaking against fics written where Carmy is more than capable, ready, and excited to be the dominant lover that Sydney would want.
Carmyās trauma does not automatically make him someone that would shrivel up into a ball the moment he has a chance to be physical with Sydney. In fact, thereās plenty of evidence that it would be quite the opposite. Whenever we see Carmy be intimate with Claire itās almost always initiated by him. Heās a very physically affectionate person. He doesnāt not allow himself to touch Sydney. The way he holds faces when he kisses, or embraces, places him in a more active and confident role when it comes to intimate acts. Heās not scared in fact. Heās very confident when it comes to that part of his life.
What heās scared of is doing these things with the wrong person. We know that he doesnāt feel for Claire in the same way that he feels for Sydney. We can see in his face the distance between him and his body/emotions when heās intimate with Claire. The panic attack that follows because something about it doesnāt feel like the good thing he was told it would be. When he is with Sydney, heās attentive, focused, eager, remembers every single word she says. Literally wants to give her everything she desires. Why wouldnāt that translate sexually? And why is it consider āincorrectā to write them in such a way?
I could speak about misogynoir and how people tend to prefer Sydney in a more dominant position sexually or in their lives when at her core sheās not that way at all. How they see her less feminine because she wears pants and oversized t-shirts? How they canāt see the inherent femininity of her chosen profession, her generally softer disposition (especially around Carmy), the way she accessorizes, styles her hair, cares about her belongings, and customizes her work space. But for someone reason itās very hard for some to see that Sydneyās femininity is not a weakness. That her submissive and softer tendencies are not a mistake. That she can be a leader and be in her soft girl era at the same damn time.
*Also Iām not someone who subscribes to gender binaries and feminine and masculine shit in a problematic way but it is very important to this conversation.*
Carmyās aloofness, depression, anger, and avoidance doesnāt mean he canāt be an active, involved, and passionate lover. Carmy has been shown to be all of those things especially when it comes to Sydney. She is his soulmate in all forms and all ways. No sheās not gonna cure him of his grief and of his less than healthy coping mechanisms and depression but I believe she would be the person that he would put his all into and give her his everything. Carmy is a very masculine man, but heās also very gentle where itās required, appreciates cooking and fashion, prefers to work in an environment when he can be of assistance and not worry about the daily stresses of keeping something alive. In fact, I think his eagerness to be of support and take care of the staff in a way that doesnāt stroke his own ego is incredibly masculine. His ability to let go and put others on the pedestal is masculinity in its ultimate form. To have something and to say I want to provide it to others.
Heās not shy, heās not insecure, and heās not religiously repressed or inexperienced sexually. This is a completely made up headcanon. So why is it a problem if others tend to write Carmy in his fullness? They see whatās best about Carmy and turn it into him being the best lover for Sydney.
So Iāll advise, if you feel this way:
A. keep it to yourself. We really donāt care and frankly itās rude and poor fandom etiquette.
B. Write your own fics, scroll past ones that donāt fit the dynamic youāve created for them in your head. But also self reflection is truly necessary.
Me and the girlies gonna continue to write them the way we want and how we want!
This is in reply to @microsuedemouse who made a post in regard to Carmyās sexual dominance in fics.
CLOCK IT!!!.
Also, more to say from my comment tehehe
It's funny how anytime Sydney is shown to be taken care of, is a softer position or not in Boss mode, some people find is odd but when Carmy is in a softer position and gets to be taken care of its not odd because he's been through so much and deserves it ( which he does so don't get it twisted). Why is it that a Black Women /Gem characters have to perform 24/7 for someone else when they are allowed to relax just as much as the next one.
Now, am I saying that just because of their gender binary, they need to be Dom and Sub all the time ? No, I don't. Gender is a construct, see can be performative and people are dynamic but I feel like we need to reflect on these and choice our own path when it comes to this (wow I feel like I just got off topic but anyways). Just want to say that race can play a factor in how we view people when it comes to intimacy, both fictional and non fictional.
Great post as always, Dom Carmy defenders untie and Sydney Sub (no pun intended) will prevail
Were we supposed to be happy for Carmy for reconnecting to his higschool crush who he gave a fake number to when he ran into her at the grocery store?
imagine just chilling and making a lil cute vid in the pool and ppl are hating on you. everyone who hates on Chloe will not know peace, im being deadassš¤·š¾āāļø hatred on her is so fkn overrated. donāt be mad sheās better than your raggedy selves!!
for Ariana, my first song was problem ft the troll name that shall not be mentioned. Any arianators around, what was the 1st song of Ariās you heard?
Obsession isnāt all that š¤·š¾āāļø my very unpopular opinion but⦠it is what it is! I think this is genuinely a case of hype around a film & ppl falling for it. And it seems ppl are starved for new faces in Hollywood so when new performer(s) are stepping in + the movie is halfway decent, ppl take it to the extreme & think itās like a masterpiece or something when that may not be the case (& w/Obsession is def not the case)⦠glad for Inde & the other actors though. At least their dreams and hardwork finally paid off but i donāt think the film is as excellent as ppl are making it out to be ):
itās the way im behind on hotd. Iāve missed 4 episodes weekly nowš¤¦š¾āāļø oh wellā¦
DAVID JONSSON!!! CONGRATS MY BOY! Forever my Gus Sackey which is the first time i was introduced to this gem of an actor.
and letās never forget the replay of the scene that we got of their first meeting where she looks down and then up at him and does a weird heavy breathing and then he attempts to match it š when affirming her. you know just casual two platonic co-workers breathing funny around each other. also, happy 1 month to the š» lol to anyone who celebrates. Wild itās been a month already š„¹
