you haven't ? ouch, what a punch to the gut. i jest, i jest. you're alright, dear. i promise i'll continue to like you either way. what are some of your personal favourites ? i'm asking both out of pure curiosity and a deep desire to expand my horror palate. indeed, the special effects were phenomenal and the amazing team of people behind it deserve all the praise they're getting for creating such realistic and terrifying art. i appreciate that, thank you. moving on from little ol’ me, how've you been ? i hear you have a tour coming up, correct ? how exciting.
I promise I am going to catch up with your movie. Thank you for not being too hard on me. Really I'm a huge fan of Stephen King and I grew up on that. The Shining scared the shit out of me as a kid. The original Carrie, and Christine are awesome. Jacob's Ladder, Scanners, and a few others are really creepy. Newer stuff like Insideous is right up there. That's not even that new.
i do believe the most humorous thing about my new status as the internet's 'horror mommy' is that i am what you'd call an utter wuss when it comes to anything to do with the genre. yet somehow, it’s completely taken over my life and isn't that something ? in truth, most of my life i stayed far away from the spook and as a naturally anxious person, horror was a big no - no in my house. that was until my agent called and informed me about the part of ellie in the evil dead rise and well, if you've had the opportunity to sink your teeth into the beautiful work of lee cronin, you'd know it wasn't a role i could've refused. definitely was not expecting such a bizarrely sweet and slightly horny reaction to my performance from the audience, but nevertheless i embrace it. and i can say that playing such a twisted role and learning from the horror greats like sam raimi, i now have a deep appreciation for horror and would classify myself as a fan. one where the lights stay on, or i'm clutching the arm of the poor person sitting beside me. now, enough about me ── tell me, what's the most fun you’ve had with a project ? ❪ ⠀ * @gonehollywoodstarters. ⠀ ❫
I haven't seen that yet and I feel horrible because the previews look amazing. I am going to get on this as soon as possible. I was never much of a horror guy but I go on binges from time to time and I do like it, so it's weird like that. I don't like straight up slashers, but something that is psychological with a great story along with being scary is a pretty rare thing. Cool effects are the bonus and it looks like your movie has that down. I'm ready for it. Congrats on your success.
Well, the football season is coming to an end and I honestly cannot wait to get some time off and for the new season that’s coming up, hopefully we’ll do better than what we did this season and make the fans happy. Although, we still got a couple of games to go that we want to win and the first one is tomorrow. Anyways, I’m Jadon and I kick a ball around for a living. Nice to meet you all. @gonehollywoodstarters
Your season is ending and ours is just kicking off, so to speak. I know you need the time off, but time to kill it a couple more times. Get it done. I love time off, but the last show has to be special, you know, go out with a bang then come back and do it all again. I haven't really followed this year at all. How is your team ending the season?

That was an idea. "How is that drive? does it have a lot of traffic? I've only ever flown into Vegas, and I'm usually don't like driving too much but I imagine if it was like that that I'd probably love it." She pictured a fancy convertible with the top down, maybe a girls weekend. She took a sip of her drink, savoring the sweet warmth on her tongue. "Ha I would say it's not weird, but I'm weird so." She shrugged a little. "It's better to own it than deny it, but I've been like that all my life, wanting to run out in the storm. I grew up with movies like Twister, that made every storm seem epic, I was sure I was going to catch a tornado."
"I've never made that drive in the daylight, only at night but it's super smooth, about 4 to 5 hours. It's just the car and the desert and the sky." He really could picture it. "You know, I've always wanted to just pull off and build a campfire and just lay out there and watch the stars. That would be epic." The guys had agreed to it too, they just hadn't done it yet. "Driving out to Palm Springs past all those windmills is kind of like that too, but not quite as much. I prefer the road to Vegas." Road trips were something he enjoyed, but that probably came with touring and all the hours spent on a bus watching the scenery go by. Road trips offered more freedom. "Storms are wild. Maybe that's it. They will blow over or destroy everything in it's path. It's exciting. No one goes out to watch drizzle all day. I loved Twister, also The Perfect Storm, but I'd never want this boat to wander into that stuff."
I am finally catching up on the films that I have not got to watch with being so busy. I have to give props to Austin Butler he did so freaking good. I had to go spotify to tell their vocies about and I am a huge Elvis fan, so bravo on your insane talent. Now I am done fangirling which I never do I will introduce myself. I am Mackenzie Porter, I am an actress and musican form Medince Hat, but I just moved to LA after getting out of a mariage. I am doing good, so no need to be sorry, I know sometimes things don’t work out. I have a song that came out today and a movie coming out later this year. Maybe an album to, so focus on the good is what I say. Nice to meet you all.
@gonehollywoodstarters
The Elvis movie was pretty good. Honestly, I wasn't sure if he could pull it off the way he did, but at the end I was a believer. Huge props to the entire cast though. I wasn't a huge fan of the Marilyn movie, but to each his own, I guess. Sorry about the divorce, but I know how that is and sometimes it's for the best, at least that's what I've heard. I'm getting through it. LA has a lot of stuff to do, so it's like therapy. What movie is coming out? Did you like acting? I haven't went that way, but it might be fun.
"I like how I can see, what feels like, all of the stars. It feels like I can only see a quarter of these in LA." Of course the view would be slightly shifted, being on a completely different coast, but only slightly. Kat looked from the sky to Michael. "But I wouldn't mind a gentle storm, as long as it didn't rock the boat." She wasn't sure how well she'd handle that. "Open up the doors to the balcony, watching the storm while curling up with a blanket is my ideal vacation."
"We were driving from LA to Vegas and once you get out there in the desert, the stars are magical. You can see for miles." His head tilted up to take them in, sipping at his drink. "I always thought I was weird because I wanted to run out when everyone else was inside so I could see the lightning. I don't think I'd like a rocking boat either, so maybe just a little one in the distance would be good." He laughed lightly, enjoying being outside.
Kat wasn't much of a cocktail drinker, usually she preferred wine, but a particularly pretty bartender talked her into something with a pineapple something that had a tiny umbrella, and a decorative pineapple bit to garnish it. It was good, but she knew she could only have one. Leaning against the railing at the stern of the ship, seeking a little bit of quiet away from the louder nightlife. Star gazing wasn't something she got to do often, most the places she went, and where she lived, had far too much light pollution that kept her from seeing much. So it was a sight to behold.
"It's really beautiful out here," Michael said from his own spot at the rail. "I've always loved boats. Even though I grew up on the ocean, you can't get tired of it." He stirred his own drink, with the umbrella stuck in it. He was on his third, and likely the last. "I love storm watching too, and the way the waves churn up with all this power. I'm really glad it isn't like that out here, but it's amazing to watch." He pushed a hand through blond hair. "What do you like the most about this trip?"
Life has been a fabulous journey for the last year or so for me. Working on a new album finally, haven't had one out since Bloom! Currently working on planning a tour once the new album is out, and I can't wait to start touring the country again. And I've got a show coming out in June and I can't wait to see the reaction of the people once they watch it, because it's something I'm proud to be a part of! Also might get to make my first ever Cannes appearance and I'll admit that I'm rather excited about that. So tell me, how fabulous of a journey has your life been recently? I want all the details because I love reveling in people's happiness as much as I love reveling in my own! @gonehollywoodstarters
Sounds like a good time. I thought Bloom was 2018, but I could be wrong, and it also seems like a year ago, not five years ago. I'm stoked to hear some new stuff though, mate. What's up with Cannes? Are you in a movie? I mean, you can go to Cannes just to see the films. I still can't see myself acting, but you'd be pretty good at it. As for us, we are always working and trying new stuff. We have a few dates to play this summer then we go back to the studio.

You are making me kind of want to do it again and then be reminded that I’m kind of like a clumsy monkey on a board. Give me a jet ski any day and I’m about it. I’ll give you a tour of some great hidden locations if we are ever there at the same time. I’m in LA more often now and I like it - most of the time. You can also give me a surfing lesson or two. I keep saying I’m almost an old man at this point. Everyone wants to go out and I’m ready to go home to my pups. London is pretty awesome, so have a blast. I didn’t care for the rain, but I love the city so much and the studios are amazing.
I’m sayin, man. Don’t let a few tumbles knock you out of the game. I am not always a clutz but it happens when you least expect it to, I swear. Jet skis are so fun, it’s been too long since I’ve been on one. I’ll take you up on that, because it sounds fucking fun. I’m in LA for most of the time, my family is there and so is my kids dad. I have to go back at some point, he’s going to want to see her. But yes - I’ll get my group of friends that helped me and we all got you, bro. I think being home is just better than going out, to be real. I like being with my babies, cooking meals, ya know.. the good stuff. The studios are perfect here, I want to build my booth at home like the ones here. The weather is perfect right now and I’m loving it.
I know you are right, and I'll try to get behind it. If I quit over a few mistakes, I wouldn't be the musician I am. I guess that's a life application. Jet skis though - huge yes! I think we have a solid plan coming together. Right though, I mean there are those people who always say 'You're single, go out. Aren't you unhappy?' I don't need to go out, I'm pretty happy, and I'm rarely actually alone. I'm good, you know. Inner peace took a long time and therapy, but I'm good with me. Australia is good right now. Summer is over, winter is coming, but you are right in between - since our seasons are backward.
really love that you seem to be just unapologetically yourself.
That's exactly what I want to be. Thank you!
your best feature is your laugh.
That's awesome!
I've never toured, but I can sort of understand the lack of wanting to unpack even the bags. Though I imagine exhaustion probably factors into that too, and you should cut yourself a break for that anyway, man. You going back on the road soon, or currently touring? I think slowly but surely's been my mode on unpacking boxes, just not feeling any pressure to do more than I want. It helps that I've had friends volunteer to lend a hand, at least. Still LA since I like living here, just feel like I grew out of my last house and now have one that I really love.
Touring is essentially always moving so you live out of a suitcase for months, and then you just burn out and it takes awhile to actually get motivated to unpack because you have a renewed relationship with home and bed. We are actually heading back out this summer. We don't have a lot of dates so nice and easy this year. Moving can be a little more fun cause you get some pizza or have a cookout and everyone can help and it's done. We pretty much live in LA full time too. It's different but easier for work.
your best feature is your talent in music.
Thank you so much for the boost.
You know those times when you are really trying to motivate yourself to do something, and everything in you just wants to do anything but that task? It's exactly how I feel with unpacking after moving into a new place. As much as I want to get things organized and make the place home, I just keep distracting myself with other things: pet sitting, playing guitar, reading scripts, you name it. At this rate, I'll be living out of boxes for months. So, what do you normally do to motivate yourself? Or if you need someone to look after your pets, my place is clearly the best for it. | @gonehollywoodstarters
I hate moving, mostly because of that. It's the same when we are unpacking from tour. It sucks. I can usually do some at a time when I move, but after tour I don't want to move. I'll live out of bags forever, I swear. I don't know how to get motivated for that. I know it's probably not helpful, but do it however you want or fill it in as you go. Take time to enjoy yourself in between boxes. Where did you move to?
