the true clintmatt dynamic is fraction's clint with charlie cox's matt like. at the very core of it all they are both just losers who come away from every fight in more pain than their opponent and they push away their friends because they think it's what will keep them safe and they try desperately to save their city and they're both just some guy in a world of super powered people and they're willing to go too far to do the right thing and they haven't shaved in like 2 weeks and they have bruises all over but will keep putting on their silly little costume anyway. that is thee clintmatt that keeps me going

clintmatt is something that can be so 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 the deaf dude and the blind guy who are walking disasters with saviour complexes and good intentions meet because they are two of the most active vigilantes in new york. together they harbour a horrifically large amount of childhood trauma and an almost infinite number of bruises but they drink their coffee just the same and know the quickest ways to stitch up a stab wound. they spend half their time bleeding out on each others' sofas and the other half making out on them and they're both bisexual and they both love their city so much and they both love each other more i'm going insane

Matt and Clint meeting when they both go against the same mob member the same night and try to avoid each other all night because they think the other is a super-bodyguard (Ending in a very confusing no-fight)

Thinking about Clint and Matt at the beach on vacation and Matt being stoked to try surfing, while Clint’s like “uh I don’t see how you’re gonna do it but knock yourself out” and Matt getting slightly annoyed in the way he does “no, I can feel it when a wave comes, I taste the change in the air, I hear the rumbling, I feel the vibrations, I can do this” and then does.

Alternatively, Clint goes to the beach on a solo vacation and a blind surfer was also there. The surfer seems to be routinely telling people that he’s blind so they don’t think he’s bumping into them on purpose in the water. However, he keeps coming over to tell Clint specifically. By the sixth or seventh time Clint thinks it’s a prank and goes to check on the surfer all confused and upset like “hey what’s going on” and immediately falling in love with Matt’s crystal blue eyes. And Matt gets all flustered burying his face in his hands like “oh god are we the only two people here I’m so sorry”, Clint says “no there’s like twenty other people here you just kept coming up to me for some reason” The reason is fate.

so idk if this is considered a rare pair but I have so many HawkDevil feelings right now

not necessarily MCU!Clint cause he's not fluent in asl yet and that's a point I will be making

They have a common enemy: Kingpin.

They have the same vibe.

They were both essentially trained to be a weapon from a young age

And not to romanticize having a disability but it would so damn cute to watch them navigate each other's disabilities. Clint teaching Matt asl but literally taking his hands and walking him through the motions. That's a cute ass montage in itself. And I can't think of any practical quick purpose but Clint buys a braille pen to write Matt little notes 🥺🥺🥺. As soon as he gets it he learns to write "You don't need to wear these around me. -C" on a slip of paper and slides it under Matt's sunglasses on the kitchen counter so when Matt goes to pick them up, he feels the note and definitely doesn't tear(s) up a little.

if anyone has any recommendations on daredevil comics that have him similar to mark waid’s daredevil from 2011 and 2014 and hawkeye similar to matt fraction’s, please tell me i miss them so much TvT

what if the teenage mutant ninja turtles exist in the mcu but they’re just really good at staying under the radar and criminals are too embarrassed to admit they got beat up by some guys in “turtle costumes” so they blame daredevil. peter parker worked as a pizza delivery boy for a while and brought like eight pizzas to a man hole cover but thought nothing of it bc nyc
