Quest for Camelot
wat rings u got bitch?
Thus the myth of the knight lumbering around like Frankenstein is busted
This myth bugs me to no end, so let me clear it up here and now:
A made-to-measure suit of full plate armour is (and ergo was) less cumbersome to wear than, say, an ill-fitting all-weather coat. It was expensive as heck, but the movement it afforded was surprisingly non-restrictive. Also remember that the men who wore these suits were usually quite physically fit (medieval knights - who were among the few who could afford the armour - were trained to fight from around 6 years-old), and were accustomed to training while wearing them.
Plate armour was moderately heavy, granted, but the weight was optimally distributed over the body, meaning the mostly costly aspect of wearing it was increased fatigue. It’s not heavy in the same way a hiking backpack is heavy. Any accounts of a knight being unable to rise after being knocked down were most likely because he was injured, dehydrated, or just plain exhausted - all of which being common in battle anyway. Regardless, it’s unlikely that it’s because his armour prevented him from moving… and the fallacy of knights requiring cranes to get onto their horses is just stupid.
The idea that full plate was sooo impractical is ludicrous; if it were, people wouldn’t have bothered with it.

"Not if you want to afford our loft, food and that shinny new gun you want— we work for the highest bidder, this one if he was still alive would have been worth five mill, and the friends he would have led us to were two more apiece" she sighed as she looked at the mangled body. "Get the tape and the tarp from the car, we’re going to dump him and make it look like the Edgewoods did it."
"Yeah... yeah, that'll work..." Linnet scrambled back up the slope and returned with a couple rolls of duct tape, (she was prone to overkill) and the tarp. She laid out the tarp beside the corpse, and handed Lina a roll of tape.

"And what are we suppose to do with the dead body? People are going to notice he’s missing, the reward was posted by a mob family! They could kill us for killing him!"
"...Use it as bait? I'd take the whole mob family on if I could... Ugh, can't we ever work for someone better? Anyway I don't want to panic, I get especially stupid when I panic. It... it was an accident, it could still be made to look like one."

"A lie would give us more to go off of then nothing! and now we can’t collect the bounty either, the reward was for him alive… . so we are broke, covered in blood, and have no where to go from here!"
"It's not that bad! Maybe he left something in his car! Then we can go and find out where he came from and who sent him... then maybe we could get paid for taking down the big guy!"

"We needed information, he can’t exactly tell us what we need to know now."
"We can still rifle through his stuff, can't we? Anyway, what if he lied to us?"

"Was killing him honestly necessary? We needed him alive."
"It was an accident... the kind of accident I don't particularly regret."
Plot 73: Young and In Love
Muse A and Muse B are young and in love. After meeting one summer at the beach, the couple hasn’t been apart for more than 2 days at a time. Though they are young and their futures are still uncertain, they are sure that they intend to spend the rest of their lives together. Excited that they’ve each found their soul-mate and eager to show the world, they decide to get married. Unfortunately, Muse A and Muse B's parents both strongly disapprove, stating that it won't last and they'll regret the rushed nuptials afterward. Discouraged, but not totally defeated, the young couple plan to elope. They'll get married in secret and run away together, starting a life on their own, without their parents' help. Muse A and Muse B scrape together what money they can and run off in the middle of the night, leaving only a goodbye note behind for their parents. They get married in a quaint roadside chapel and find a cheap apartment to live in. They plan to find work and take care of each other from now on, however, it’s not long before they discover that it’s not as easy or as fun living independently as they dreamed it would be. Before they know it, they’re short on rent. Work leaves the newlyweds with little time for each other, and when they are together they begin to fight over their finances.
Will they find a way to make it work as young newlyweds? Or will they end up crawling back to their parents for help?

ok but seriously: at the end of Quest for Camelot, did Excalibur heal Garret’s eyes, or is he still blind? because this has been my favorite movie for as long as i can remember, and i still can’t tell, and it’s really bugging me
It does not appear that the magic did heal him. He still uses his staff at the end, for instance, something he would no longer need if he could see.
