So here we have 7 examples of ways to cover the same story. As posted yesterday, Google has been scraping romance novels and using that text to generate ‘poetry’, or writing in a poetic form, anyway. Note the emotional language used to describe said effort:
Mournful, dramatic, creepy (x 2), haunting, and miserable.
The poetry itself is a bit bland. But the projection? All too human, I’m afraid. Is it threatening to think that art is not an exclusively human province? Guess it depends what you think art is, or poetry is, and what it should be, and why. I personally think the words of the prophets are written on the subway walls, along with quite a bit of gibberish. Wisdom is knowing the difference.
