Bonnie’s story could’ve been a great arc about breaking generational curses and trauma. It actually makes no sense how Grams didn’t put pressure on Bonnie once she came into her witch powers. Abby leaving should’ve been a much bigger deal for Bennetts as a whole.

the thing with sterntao is that he very much does see her a stand in for a daughter but eric is also comfortable crossing certain boundaries in a way that brings this uncomfortable undercurrent of a sexual nature to their dynamic on his end like the way we see him have sexual relationships with young black women harper’s age, their new “office” being an open hotel suite with the bed in the middle, him lounging around in a bathrobe, etc. he never outwardly pursues her sexually like he did with yasmin but he also craves deeper emotionally intimacy with harper in a way he doesn’t with anyone else which is fatherly but like also sexual at the same time they truly are one of the most emotionally rich dynamics of the whole show it’s fascinating
