( i believe in our future band! maybe we should keep this tracklist going, and we can each add to it every year with a song. this year for me is this song, though i’m not so sure i believe in my mom and dad. they’ve been arguing a lot recently, and i don’t think they can get me the bass i asked for. i can try and borrow one from the school, though! i won’t give up on our band - i know that with all my certainty ;-) )

( can you believe we’re going to graduate soon? and then we can go rent an apartment somewhere with all of the money we get from playing! i think it’d be fun to live with you… though i doubt it’ll be very quiet with you and your guitar. promise to learn a few country songs for me? )

luke: only the good die young

( it still feels so far away. i can’t wait to really start our band. we may be getting older, but we’re still young yet! i chose this one for our tracklist, but movin' out is another good billy joel song (am i allowed to recommend another?). and of course i’ll play some country for you, reg. of course i will. )
