Impossible, they say. Unheard of. This kind of magic doesn't exist, in record or legend--Yet the magic to clone has surfaced, and replicas of students mysteriously populate Hogwarts. Most suspect Dark Magic, He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, as Albus Dumbledore fled the castle at the first sign of unease. Thank you so much for everyone who has been part of Clonewarts RPG in the last eight months. It's hard to say but Clonewarts is now officially closed. All characters and plots have been wonderful, but I'm sad to say that our journey must end. What started out as a little idea manifested into something truly great. Thanks again.

  Saving Grace: Philosophical outlook is a adequate trait for the character Lisa, this shows how she can be open minded but closed minded at the same point of time. Which is very pleasing because this could help in certain situations when people are in need of help. For example: A very tragic fight between two friends and she happens to be stuck in the middle, during this time of the obstacle she could help her friends (If they are willing to behave with her.) negotiate with one another. Intellect this trait relates back to  philosophical outlook, but in a different sort of way. Having this trait helps her take in the knowledge and understand aspects that others might now, she’ll be able to give information that others might not know or comprehend at the moment. This trait could make her sharp on learning in things and expand her horizons. Foresight is a remarkable trait for Lisa having this trait, could help her over come obstacles that hit her in her time being. This could help her become even more motivated to make her future or life better than it is now. Make her want to help her friend to make their lives better, push them in the right direction.

Fatal Flaw:Naive clashes with her trait of intellect, it may not affect her in a learning aspect. But, it would hurt her in a confrontation or battle situation. The fact that she could be less experienced than her opponent, that can give them an advantage of her. Unwillingness to commit is distasteful trait knowing that Lisa could be a character that can be that way, is ghastly to know.  The fact that she could be unwilling to do anything, which is also good in a role playing sense because the other character may not know what she’ll be committed to do with them or not.  Tendency to ignore important details while looking at a big, sketchy picture. This trait could destroy this character in an academic way and a life lesson type of situation, if she is trying to find out something of why someone doesn’t like her, or does like her and it’s super obvious the answer is right under her nose. Could destroy her in a sense, someone could take advantage of her because of that. 

Nationality: Lisa is from Uzès, France: Uzès is a gem; with lofty towers and narrow streets, it feels like it belongs to a different era. 

Family: Louis Turpin, vulgar man, spoke his word exactly by the way he thinks. Straight forward on what he wants to do and when he wants it. 2nd generation at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Louis has never been very fond of muggles and the way they do things. He never liked how closed minded most are, that’s why he married Maria Costa. A woman of magic, they had met at a small Italian restaurant in the small town and has been in love ever since. 

Marie Costa, a sweet young woman who is more open minded than her husband. Fascinated by the muggles, not too fond on everything they do. But, loves the idea of how they do things without magic, motivates Lisa and her two older siblings to try and interact with situation at home without magic. Always had thoughts of what it would be like being non-magical. 

Louis Turpin jr, is a cocky competitive, and vulgar young man almost like his father. He is the oldest of the Turpin children thinks of himself as the best of all of them. Sometimes there family worries on how this boy thinks of life. Marie and Louis have received reports from the school about him misbehaving using magic as a weapon, surprised on how he even was able to inhabit a dorm in the school. Once he graduated Louis moved out to live on his own and met his girlfriend who is ghastly of a woman Natalia De Luca.

Cynthia Turpin, a cunning young women who is at the top of her game, has a stable job at the ministry and is about to marry the love of her lifeJoshua Rizzo, she has moved to the wizarding world alongside him. She is dedicated young women who have a bright future.  Was top student at Hogwarts and was heard to be most likely to succeed. Cynthia is one to follow word for word by the book, never broken a rule. Never unless if one she cared for hurt.

Patronas: Dove, the animal that represents peace and kindness in its soul, innocence to the mind. Which represents Lisa in many ways, she is sweet and kind would not hurt a fly. But a Dove in danger will defend itself, just like Lisa would.

Boggart: Louis Turpin, her father is her boggart it’s her secret only she knows. She would never want anyone to find out, she’s afraid of her father, afraid she’ll end up as vulgar and rude just like him. Louis and Lisa have a history of hurt and judgment of no agreement.  She feels like the anger and tension between them will tear them apart.

Wand:Cherry wood, 11’inches, with a unicorn core.

Sexual History: Lisa has had only two crushes in her life which was Neville Longbottom the boy who gave her his extra pair of dragon-hide gloves after Peeves stole hers. For some reason when they connected eyes contact and their hands touched when the glove was handed to her. She felt like her whole world stopped for a moment like nothing around her matter, all her problems didn’t matter. It’s sounds cliche but she felt like he was the one at the moment. The crush on him went on for awhile but ended in the middle of the year. Her recent crush is Ronald Weasley, she’s only saw the ginger hair boy in the hallways talking to Lavender Brown or Hermione Granger,her cheeks turn ruby red whenever he walks by or glances at her. She wants to talk to him but is too afraid maybe one day she hopes.

Para Sample:A shaky pen moved quickly back and forth between this young girls pale fingers, squeaky writing noises from fellow students scratching away at a paper half-past due for a class they thought about at the last minute. Loud fumbles of paper being flipped over by bookworms. It was hard to establish a thought in her dull mind, her top two teeth grazed over her bottom lip. Her small pale hand slammed the pen onto the table, her two hands pushed up her brown locks in frustration.  Standing up quickly, the young woman made her way toward the more historical books, she took one out flipping the book open to a section of dark magic. Her eyes scanned the page intently, searching for information for a class paper she is working on. She tapped her foot onto the hard floor impatiently, no information crawled into her brain. She felt like metal blades were cutting through her thoughts making her blank on knowledge for the moment. She decided that the library during the day wasn’t the best time to be, she made her way back to where she had been currently studying. To pack her things, walking with a stern look on her face, yes she was frustrated. She needed this paper in tommrrow. Her heals she had been wearing made loud clomping noises through the gray halls of Hogwarts, she breathed out a breath to help calm down. Her steady pace stopped for a second, her eye lids closed, taking in the atmosphere of the school. Loving the old era feeling of it, she started to move again with a small smile creeping onto her face. Her eyes met some of the friendlier ghost that floated by, seeing the beautiful moving picture waving at some of the people in them.  Once she had approached her dorm, she sat in front of the small fire that was lit purple. The color reflected in her eyes, she turned her face neutral, “I’m still here..” She drew a breath through those small word.  “I couldn’t ask for more…”

I just wanted to say that this looks like an amazing roleplay, and it's so in character! It's really rare to see an RP that's so well put together, but still so totally creative and encouraging. Great job!

Hey there quidditch fans! The highly anticipated match is starting today and every dedicated fan knows that in order to fully support their team they make a banner. This assignment is a graphic assignment to make as many banners as you would like to help cheer on your team. They can be large gifs where your character has put a little animation of the banner or they can be more simple and have a slogan on there. For every animated banner you will earn the team it is in support of 20 points and the nonmoving banners will be worth 10 points.

Quidditch players can get in on this too by making posters to encourage people to attend the match or to come and cheer them on. The same point system applies here as well.

There are no limits to the amount of banners or posters you can create, just go and have some fun! Please be sure to tag all graphics with ‘clonewartsquidditch’ so we can all have an organized place to admire each other’s work. Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Quidditch!

As previously posted on the main, Clonewarts is about to launch into a week long event simulating the long anticipated quidditch match starting on Saturday, January 25th! We want everyone to participate, so we’ve come up with a system to earn points for whatever team your character is rooting for.

Quidditch Players:

We will be sending out randomized asks with certain actions your player will take. In order for your character to preform the action, you will have to respond to the ask before it expires (a time will be placed on the ask of when to answer by). If you do not respond to the ask before it expires, your character will miss the opportunity to preform that action. 

In said asks you will be able to write a drabble about your character either succeeding or failing depending on whether you answered before it expired.

Feel free to interact with other quidditch players/spectators during pre-match events.

Earn points for you team by making posters, an assignment which will be posted tomorrow with further details.

This is very similar to how quidditch players

Spectators will gain points for the team that they support by answering these asks.

On Friday, January 24th, and Saturday, January 25th, there will also be a ball that Viktor Krum is hosting for all the students in honor of the match. Some of the professional scouts and players will be in attendance as well as the Weird Sisters, which many already had the chance to meet at Slughorn’s Christmas party. Links to this will be posted in the ooc but members are also welcome to post on the dash with what I like to call “mini dash paras” where you write one or two short paras accompanied by a gif. That way people who are unable to be at the party at the same time can still interact and characters can talk to more than one person.

·  Saving Grace

Graham’s intelligence is rivaled by few in his class. He has no issue with working hard towards things he feel will help him get ahead, especially if it involves learning something utterly different than the normal coursework. Graham is the type to stay after class to further understand a concept and ask for extra assignments in hopes of making an impression. However, Graham is also more stealthy with his brains and chooses specific people to share his career plans with. Graham also is unaffected by teasing of the like (save mentions of his fall from grace as captain) and is perfectly content  not dominating the social pyramid constructed by Draco Malfoy. He has House pride like a good Slytherin but has intentions that will outlive his time in green robes. Graham also cares very deeply about the people in which he trusts.  This is the reason he has had a low number of successful relationships, something he fears comes from his fathers.

·  Fatal Flaw

Vengeance. Though Graham is not affected by petty comments, he does not hesitate to enact revenge on those he feel who have wronged him. Josephine Urquhart is only one of many who have gotten in the way of Graham moving up the ranks and possibly entering the “Slug Club” or other invitation only societies. Because of this Josephine is one person on his unofficial list of people separated into those who should be rewarded when he reaches the top and those who will be ignored. Graham has strains of his mother’s calculated social movements ingrained into his personality and has trouble controlling his impulses to hurt those who hurt them.  Though his outbursts are not always violent, they can be very aggressive if he’s upset enough. He also can be very defensive about people who mean very much to him or his own abilities.  Graham does have a sensitive side that  has only been revealed once.

I▶ Roleplay Sample

Graham crisply folded the page of his textbook. As with most afternoons, Graham was transferring his written notes in Transfiguration by using a command spell to copy them onto parchment. This way he was optimizing time for homework through the practice of multiple skills which increased his productivity. Numerically speaking, Graham was saving about an extra hour of cramming before a test by simply refreshing his memory. It was a trick his mother Evelyn had taught him when he was a child though she made it sound like a game.

The sound of his quill scribbling quickly was oddly comforting to the anxious teen.  Why was he so tense? He did not have the misfortune of having to attend practice with the new pathetic excuse for a captain, Josephine.  There were no incidents from Jasper or Amelie. His father was even lucid enough to send back Graham’s request for a new broom.  At least that would make him more than just a lowly Chaser.

Not now, Graham. After I complete this mixture perhaps my patent will buy us all new brooms.–Aug

The letter was now resting in the Slytherin common room fire and Graham stared at the flames envelop the parchment. Perhaps after he finished his notes Graham would use the charred pieces as a scare tactic for the next person to stare at him rudely in the Great Hall. That sounded interesting.

    ▶ Character Details

·  Nationality

Graham was born in Ireland, the birthplace of his mother’s grandmother and one of his favorite places to visit when he was younger. Graham has plans to live there when he is older because of the scenery.

·  Family

                AUGUSTINE MONTAGUE:  Graham’s cerebral father who has trouble separating his work from his home life. He often mistakenly forgets to place his experiments in a neutral area and can be found combining potions when his family is out doing things together. Though Augustine was raised in a traditional Slytherin household, he was too focused on his work to be bothered with the likes of Voldemort. However, Augustine did discreetly contribute to the cause by providing some of his successful potions to the Death Eaters as weaponry with the consent of his wife Evelyn.  There is no doubt she is the operator behind their family and he honestly prefers for Evelyn to take control of situations in which he find fruitless for knowledge. Augustine personally believes Graham’s time at Hogwarts is an obligation he’d rather not support but his frequent detachment from the family gave him no say. However, Augustine is notorious for his constant evaluation of his family members when they become extremely emotional and writing it down in a notebook Graham would like to burn.

                EVELYN JAMESON MONTAGUE: Evelyn Jameson is a pureblood hereditary Ravenclaw who was attracted to Augustine for his mad-scientist like tendencies. Now nearly twenty years after they met, Evelyn is quickly tiring of the displaced husband and is focused on making sure her children prosper. She is the source of much of Graham’s inner pressure because of her constant encouragements for him to use his intelligence to be successful rather than letting it run wild like his father has. One of Evelyn’s pet peeves is  being outsmarted by anyone, a quality that is directly reflected in her youngest son Graham. There were a few rumors that Graham’s sister Amelie is not a full-blooded wizard due to a tryst with a handsome muggle two years ago. However, Evelyn is unaffected by the rumors and continues to work diligently in a highly classified position at a London think tank.  Graham loves his mother because of her ambitious nature, but is sometimes wary of one of their “encouragement chats” that remind him of how much more he needs to accomplish.

                JASPER MONTAGUE: Graham’s older brother (AGED 22) who is currently on permanent holiday. After graduating from Hogwarts with mediocre grades, Jasper decided to forget a career of academia and use his stipend from the Grandparents Montague for traveling. Despite what his mother thinks, Jasper is trying to figure out what he would like to do with his life while also meeting as many insecure wizard girls as he can. He speaks to Graham every so often and is usually telling his younger brother to stop taking school work so damned seriously and to stop getting laid. Jasper was sorted into Slytherin though he always claimed to confidantes he thought the hat made a mistake.

                AMELIE MONTAGUE: Amelie is Graham’s younger sister and is known for her memory concerning historical wizard events. Amelie shares some of Augustine’s neurotic tendencies when it comes to schoolwork but can unwind in ways that would make Jasper blush. Graham sees her as a toxic mix of all his family members though he loves her without doubt. Amelie is also trying to find her place at Hogwarts by firstly removing the title of “That Boy’s Sister”.

  ·  Patronus: Robin.  Graham takes pride in his ability to create the colorful bird when thinking about specific memories with Tasmin or the day he mastered his first spell. It is the most extravagant part of his personality, though it lacks the sleekness that is associated with Slytherin patronuses. Graham unashamedly defends his Patronus in a variety of waya and would rather die than trade it for anything as stereotypical as a lynx or snake. As a robin, he has the ability to draw attention without stooping to degrading pleas for eyes.  It reminds him of how it felt to be Qudditch captain before it was viciously ripped from his hands by Jo.

·  Boggart:  Failure. His boggart appears as a figure that ridicules his mistakes and taunts him mercilessly for the things he’s lost such as the captain position, people he cared about, etc.

·  Wand:  Hazel, dragon heartstring, 18” 

·  Sexual History

                Tasmin Applebee: Graham’s first love and first failure. He enjoyed Tasmin’s company because of how easily they got on when they were younger. He used to attribute his current lack of intimacy with girls to the pain of losing her a while back, but a stiff talk with Blaise made him stop blaming the girl as much. Now Graham finds himself thinking about her when things go awry. He still refers to her in his mind as “Tasmin the Tempest”.

                Pansy Parkinson: He’s convinced that tryst was a rebound from Malfoy or any other of Pansy’s rumoured past conquests, but he appreciated the chance to channel some aggression into passion. He could see himself possibly repeating the action if Pansy seemed interested.

                Fay Dunbar: Graham can’t even explain to himself why he  has interest in this Gryffindor, but finds himself seeing her through the halls with a raised eyebrow. He has told no one about the infatuation and only thanks his lucky stars that she isn’t a player on the Quidditch team.
