“why are starclan not yelling at him and heronheart for being mates when they’re both in direct contact with them??” well see actually starclan is currently in debate as to whether a partnership which can’t result in kits is actually,,, fine,,, under that particular code given that the code was put in place so that raising kits would not distract the medcat from caring for the rest of the clan. jury is out. and also most of starclan is gay and are accusing anyone denouncing this relationship of being homophobic. plus, silverpelt says “they are both very cute” and “if you break them up i will fucking throw every single one of you and those who come after you into Nostar’s domain” so when god blesses your gay ass can the angels really do shit about it? probably not, right
now that all the medcats are designed I can start on their icons!!! here’s Longstride. I struggle with her face a lot but I love her

I fuckin love this guy honestly. Shadestar recruited him as the clan’s medicine cat because he used to be a vet’s assistant and was already supplying medical aid to the various strays of the town. He has no faith in StarClan but his healing prowess more than makes up for that.
