I've drawn them so many times, which caused their design to change over time. The change being mostly in their body type/how I draw their body type. I wasn't comfortable using the original as their primary ref for that reason. I think they came out looking real cute!

I have many opinions about how Spike was treated in the show. Which manifested as me rewriting him for Cloudverse, because he deserved better.
So I may have rewritten Spike/Pietersite for the Cloudverse, because it’s my verse, I already made many changes to canon already and also ‘cause Spike deserved better. These changes also pretty much just made him into an oc lol
He’s closer to Twilight in age now, which I’ll explain down below in his lore. This age change also makes him impossible to ship with any canon, or at least none that I would be comfortable with, so he’s a single father! (he loves his son very much)
Also I count Pietersite as part of the main group with the other mane 6!

For the Cloudverse, and in general, I headcanon there being a mysterious ancient land of immoral alicorns. The land Celestia and Luna came from before they became princess of Equestria.
The location of this land is generally unknown in modern day, but in a time long past, way before the time of princesses, they socialized with other species of the time.

The land that Celestia and Luna came from before they became princess of Equestria was the land of alicorns, who are immortal and keep to themselves. In modern day no one really knows the location of this land or of its general existence except in myth and legend.
One of the customs of this land came from an alliance between the alicorns and some dragons of the time. They thought since both species lived incredibly long lives that it would make sense to form camaraderie between the two groups. This initial concept turned into bonded pairs between an alicorn and a dragon through informal ritual.
Over a long period of time a group of dragons that were cultivated in the alicorn land became dependent on alicorn magic for their eggs to hatch. So when a new alicorn was about three years old or so and their magic was strong enough, they were brought to the eggs and cast the necessary spell. Whichever egg reacted to their magic and hatched, making the alicorn’s magic now part of dragon’s physiology. An alicorn is drawn to their magic so the young alicorn is bonded to the dragon, and the dragon bonded to the young alicorn for life. Many of these pairs were each other like siblings or twins and are very platonic in nature.
These dragons were generally smaller than typical dragons and were quite light in weight so they could ride on the backs of their bonded alicorn. The body type of the dragons varies, but many of them don’t have wings that can carry them in flight or any wings at all, so they’re dependent on the help of alicorns to get to places only accessible by the sky.
Though the concept of bonded pairs became commonplace at the time, in practice not many young alicorns were part of these pairs. An actual pair was quite uncommon, since each alicorn’s magic is different and each dragon egg is particular to which magic they react with. So these eggs are dormant until the magic they’re looking for comes to them. Also older alicorns are kept from forming these bonds since the idea is for the two to grow together.
This ritual then went out of style for the concerns of the power dynamics in these pairs being out of balance in the alicorn's favor. The dragon is generally disconnected from other dragons, and it seems that these dragons were bred to be dependent on the alicorns. There was also many discussions if the original dragon-alicorn alliance was actually coerced by the alicorns, and let them do whatever they pleased to the ancient dragons who didn’t have magic to defend themselves. Many of the answers to these theories were lost even to the alicorns through time and history. So these magic-hatched dragons are kept in the land of alicorns, which along with location of the land itself, are kept secret in modern times.

Neither of the two princesses were bonded to their own dragon, but when they left for Equestria, Celestia took one of the dormant eggs with her. She knew that she was unlikely to go back to her original home, so she took a little of its uniqueness with her.
The sisters get caught up in ruling and Celestia forgets about the egg, until the time of Nightmare and the banishment of her sister. In Luna’s absence she becomes incredibly lonely and melancholic, but she keeps on a brave face for her subjects. Since she is immortal and ponies aren’t, Celestia has experienced many friends and loved ones pass. She wishes for ponies she can confide in, those who wouldn’t leave her.
Celestia remembers hearing about other pony types transforming into alicorns in her youth, as opposed to being born an alicorn like Celestia and Luna. Celestia then makes it a personal project of hers to find ponies with strong hearts and incredible magic to bring more alicorns to Equestria.
Remembering the dormant egg, Celestia formed an informal test in Canterlot that tests the strength of a unicorn foal’s magic that parents can choose to bring their child to or not. She didn’t think anything would come of it, since she wasn’t sure the egg would react to a unicorn or if a unicorn baby’s magic could be comparable to an alicorn’s. Celestia also founded her School for Gifted Unicorns.
The test itself involved bringing the young foal over to the egg and waiting for a reaction. The original bonding ritual involved the alicorn foal casting any kind of spell so the egg could either absorb it and hatch or reject it. Celestia stopped personally overseeing this test long ago, so those running it didn’t know exactly how it worked.
The parents would have their child brought to the egg and those that became in charge of the test decided if the child cooed, burped, etc. determined how strong their magic was. It wasn’t very scientific, and kinda silly but ponies thought since the test was created by Celestia, it must have some merit. So ponies came from all over Equestria to have their babies stare at an egg for a couple minutes to determine their future.

Bio:
As a resident Canterlot unicorn family, the Sparkles brought all their kids to magic egg test and one year old Twilight Sparkle was no different. They thought it was a fun thing to do to celebrate their babies growing into toddlers. They didn’t expect anything to come from it. They brought little Twilight towards the egg. When she sneezed some magic onto it and the egg hatched revealing a baby dragon inside, they were thrown for a loop.
Everyone there was shocked and didn’t know that could happen or what to do. So the stunned test organizers asked the young parents if they would like to bring the little dragon home. The couple, still reeling, were already toying with the idea of getting a pet for their family, so they accepted. Ponies not knowing much about dragons, they think he'll be similar to a dog so they name him Spike and bring him home.
Princess Celestia is then sent word of concern that the magic test egg hatched, and that they’re worried about the future of the test since families have been coming to it for generations. Celestia didn’t expect anything to come of the egg, so she too was shocked and overjoyed that there’s a potential for future alicorn. Celestia requests the information to get in contact with the family who brought the dragon. She also suggests a good pottery place to make an egg to replace the one missing for the test.
Princess Celestia then pops by the Sparkle family to check in if they’re still alright with raising a baby dragon, and also to meet the unicorn that hatched it.
The Sparkles, having a very interesting week, are shocked to find Princess Celestia at their door step, then in their home. They let her know that after the initial shock, they are more than happy to have Spike in their family. He’s a little sweetheart and getting along great with Twilight!
Celestia then notices the dog bed and dog bowl, but there seems to be a lack of a dog. She then asks the couple about it, then puts two and two together. Celestia kindly informs them that taking care of this dragon will be more like adopting a child than getting a puppy. She asks them again if they’re still up for it, and they agree, understanding the full responsibility. Celestia is overjoyed and she’s happy to help with any knowledge she has about dragon related care.
Celestia decides to stay a little while longer for a chat,and finds this family charming. Once she leaves though, the couple is deeply appalled with themselves and incredibly embarrassed that they basically had their adoptive baby sleep in a dog bed.
They course correct hard, and rush to get a new baby crib, diapers and anything else he could need. They return all the dog stuff, and change the baby’s name. “Spike is a dog’s name. What were we thinking???” Thus the name, Pietersite Fluorite Heathspike Sparkle, came from panic. That’s why it’s so long and ridiculous lol
(I’m strongly against the parentifying children, so Twi and Pieter are firmly in adoptive sibling territory here)

Twilight and Pietersite grew up very close. They were pretty much attached to the hip, where Pieter wanted to be involved or help Twi with anything she was doing. He thought she was the coolest pony ever, and Twi loved him too and his help and getting books. Though he did start out a little clumsy.
Twilight was stuck with her face in her books, and her only friends were her siblings and parents. Pieter loved his family, but he also wanted to socialize with other kids. Twilight was firmly uninterested in others, and she always said that all she needed was him and Shining. He still encouraged her to go to the other kids, but she would brush him off.
Pieter was a pretty charismatic kid on his own and made friends pretty easily. Though he was bullied a couple times for the whole, for the whole not being a pony thing. He went to school with Twilight for a little bit, but he was made to feel very out of place there by the other kids since Twi and him were in different grades. He became homeschooled for a little bit, then he joined Twilight a little when she went to the School for Gifted Unicorns. Celestia was happy to see him when he did.
So much of Pieter’s early childhood revolved around Twilight and her interests, so during homeschooling or whenever she was away, he didn’t know what to do with himself. During this time he started to learn more about himself and what he likes. Later in life, Pieter starts to crave self actualization away from Twilight, and he becomes snarky towards her. Which becomes loving teasing as the two mature.
Also the pair might’ve had an emo phase growing up.
When Pieter grows into an adult, he generally has the same personality as canon Spike. He’s caring, helpful, playful and emotionally sensitive. Pieter’s generally more low-energy compared to Spike, since he is an adult and tired. He will only run if his friends are in danger or are in need. Though he is quick when cleaning or doing tasks for others. He’s also much more wise and self-confident so a lot of the bad Spike episode plots just wouldn’t happen. He is also kinda lazy, and says no to things he’s not interested in. Like in canon, instead of Spike just not being included in things, Pieter decided to not go and just do something else. Pieter is also still very close to Twilight and it seems like he can basically read her mind at times, and knocks her out of her mental spirals.
Pieter also has a good bond with his older brother, Shining Armor. They bonded over their love of comics. Pieter identifies lots with the sidekicks, and loves analyzing the queer subtext. Shining also introduced him to Ogres&Oubliettes as a kid, and he still loves to play it as an adult. He and Big Mac play together like in canon.
Also Pieter is genderqueer and queer in general. He loves pink, baking, and going to the spa. Which is all things he canonically does. Pieter also does drag, and loves fashion. That’s how he bonded with Rarity. Also he doesn’t and never did have a crush on her in this verse. It’s more like he saw her and thought, ”she is the only pony serving cunt for miles. I must become friends with her.” They are besties.
He’s also still friends with the rest of the mane 6, maybe they even have stronger bonds than in canon because he’s no longer the little kid of the group. He’s included in more of their group hang outs than in canon. Friendship yay!
Pietersite also went on a similar adventure in the episode, Dragon Quest. He wanted to learn about other dragons, and used the migration to try and find some that are similar to himself.
The group that fits that physical description turns out to be a group of teenagers, he’s disappointed when he realizes this. The group starts making fun of him for his lack of wings and general pony-like appearance. Pieter then dishes his own verbal jabs at the seemingly leader of the group, which gains him some favor with the young dragons to his surprise. He picks up on the social hierarchy of this group, and starts to climb it. Pieter ends up getting the respect of these teenagers, and then turns into their elected leader. He gets caught up in the rush of it all. When the group boisterously suggests going on a raid with their new leader, Pietersite agrees, not thinking much of it. Pietersite craves the camaraderie and validation of the only positive dragon interaction he’s ever had. Though when he learns that they want to bring harm to phoenix eggs, he risks it all by firmly saving he won’t do it when pressured to smash the only egg that hasn’t hatched. The rest of the episode goes the same as canon, and the other dragon turn on him. Twi, Dash and Rarity still followed him like in canon as well.
Parenthood:
Around the time the mane six start dating and settling down, the group hangout less than they used to and Pietersite has more time to himself. He thought that he would never want to be a parent. He really likes his alone time and didn’t think he was responsible enough for such a task. The idea of possibly having a kid of his own was planned in his head back when his nephew Scarlet Heart was born, but he then buried it

Pietersite always thought that being a parent wasn’t for him. He never really thought about it too in depth, but since he loves his alone time and didn’t want the massive responsibility. He did enjoy his time raising Peewee, the phoenix he kept that hatched from the egg he saved. Though he figured that caring for a child entails more commitment than a pet would. When his nephew, Scarlet Heart was born, he started toying with the idea about potentially becoming a parent himself. At the time Pieter came to the conclusion that he’s alright with being the chill queer uncle.
He continues to live his life, then the other members of the mane 6 start settling into new stages of their lives. They were getting into better and bigger things that were taking more of their time.
Twilight became a princess, and is getting close to the captain of her castle guard. Rarity’s career in the fashion industry was going fantastically well, and she’s busy opening more boutiques all over Equestria. Rainbow finally succeeded in her dream of becoming a wonderbolt. The others might have not changed much in their careers, they still seem very fulfilled in other parts of their lives. Applejack’s always been busy with work on the farm. Pinkie had usually kept herself occupied with her party planning and whatever else caught her eye. A good chunk of his friends started to get into relationships as well, which made Pieter have a creeping feeling of being left behind.
Then to Pietersite’s surprise Fluttershy was the first of the group to get married. He was of course happy for her, but he thought change was coming too quickly and time was going a little too fast. He felt that he should find something for himself, something for him to be proud of, so he no longer felt inadequate compared to his friends. Though he wasn’t sure what that thing could be, his heart aches for it.
Fluttshy and her husband then had their baby, and when Pietersite saw them all together, something clicked. He wanted something to take care of. Something of his own to express love for, unconditionally. After a lot of deliberation, he came to the conclusion that he wanted a child of his own.
Pieter thought long and hard about the logistics of such a big life change. Then he came to how such a child would even come into existence. He wasn’t in a relationship and wasn’t really interested in getting in a committed one. He thought about maybe trying fostering or adopting, which became a viable option and he was okay with. Though he really wanted to try having a child that was biologically his, though he feared that it might be impossible. A child that he fostered would likely be a pony, and he figured that they would be afraid of him as a lone dragon parent at some point or another, which he didn’t want. And though he thought it might be selfish, Pietersite wanted something like himself in the world, so they would each other and he wouldn’t feel so alone as he sometimes did.
Pietersite tells Twilight and the others of his plans so they could help him with this difficult journey and they were supportive. After a lot of questions and contemplation, he went through both pony and dragons avenues for help. Through genetic tests, they find that Pieter is actually very compatible with ponies since he has a lot of magic inside of him compared to the average dragon. He has a lot of questions about that that he doesn’t have time for.
So with this new knowledge and hope Pietersite looks into third-party reproduction and surrogacy. Through kind ponies, this path was a success and through an agency Pieter found a pony that was willing to carry his future child. He and this pony actually became pretty good friends through this, since he wanted to help them with anything they needed for them and his baby to be happy and healthy. The surrogate and Pietersite agreed beforehand that after the baby was born, the surrogate didn’t want to be part of its life. He was completely okay with this.
Then his child is finally born, his son. Half pony, half Pietersite. He loved this foal long before he met him, but now Pieter is entirely full of love for his little baby.
Pietersite raises and cares for his little baby as a single father. He gets a lot of help from his friends of course. He was always ready to help them with anything. They were more than happy to return the favor. Rarity in particular is more than happy to take as much time out of her day as needed to help Pieter. As Rarity has made clear to him, they are besties for life. She loves being an auntie for the little goober.

I had a lot to say in this one, and sorry if some of it doesn't make much sense. My brain’s kinda fried from writing this whole thing in two days. I was a fool and only wrote some old lore of Pietersite so a lot of the new stuff I had to try to remember straight from the dome.
I could also get into all my problems with canon Spike that made me compelled to write him in the first place, but this is long enough as it is!
Also I know it’s been kinda dead around here, but I’ve actually been drawing a lot in April that I want to share with y’all! I just gotta get into the groove of actually uploading stuff after I make it lol
The form/design that I originally liked the most, but is used the least in the lore. Tape is more for vibes and aesthetic than actual story, but I still like them a lot! I already liked Tape’s original design so I just added more details and abilities and I like them even more! I also gave them more of a vibe of having a sleepy and cozy personality to them.
As I mentioned in Blue’s bio, the chaos magic that Blue already had is what makes them able to transform into Tape and what gives them their abilites. It also just makes Tape possible in general.
Tape is a sentient plushie, but to be more specific, they use the plushie as a outer shell or skin. Tape has/is a dark colored creature made out of tendrils and many small arms. These appendages sometimes poke out of the seams of the plushie. This body in sensitive and uses the stuffing of the plushie body to dull the touch of the outside world. They do see through the eyes of the plushie, and are able to emote as well. The tendrils are more of the skeleton or nervous system of the plushie than a separate entity. They are sleepy since the plushie fluff feels like there’s a weighed blanket wrapped around them at all times.
Blue uses this form to help with their insomnia or to calm themself. They also become Tape when they feel like or want to be a monster, and they literally split at the seams. They can split their face open by the seam this way. Generally though Tape is just a sleepy and cuddly guy.
Tape is also a big fan of group/platonic cuddles. They are able to change their size, fabrics and stuffing to suit their cuddle buddy best. They’re ideal is to wrap around their friend and be sort of a pillow nest for them. Very whimsical and fun.
Abilities/behaviors:
Light sensitive, perfers darker spaces
Only one of their eyes are a button, but they can still see and blink with both eyes.
Their expression doesn’t change very much. Eyes and eyesbrow are the most expressive part of them.
Doesn’t open their mouth very often
There’s a voicebox behind their bowtie inside their body that they use to talk and play calm tunes.
The shell on their back moves up and down their back depending on mood, but can’t be moved with force
Changes size with ease, from beast to normal plushie sized
Able to ragdoll on command.
Stands on back legs and on four legs.
Able to float and fly, but genrally does so slowly

My main ponysona, I am this mentality ill bug. I wanted to share a lot of lore with them but a lot of it doesn’t make sense and just goes off vibes. Also I might change a lot of this cause it’s just for fun hehe
For context Blue’s original replacement form they were born as was a earth pony 🫡 They don’t change into often, and tries their best to keep it a secret. For angst purposes.
Their abilities (first two are shown in the art)
Unique to Blue:
In addition to their pupil constricting normally, they also constrict into thin vertical slit pupils when they’re agitated and/or see something they wish to attack. Blue also widens their eyes big when this happens. Warning sign slit pupils
Blue has two snake-like fangs that hide behind the hard fangs built into their face. The snake fangs fold in and up into their face, when retracted these fangs are completely hidden. When Blue opens their mouth it’s hard to tell they’re even there. They work when Blue is already biting into something. Where the face fangs are pressing down is where the snake ones puncture, making a clean bite. Not sure what they do though. Maybe something related to feeding on love? Venom related? Vampire stuff? Who’s to say! lol
The color of the magic that comes from their horn is white. Similar to the color of their iris. Has a faint blue hue to it sometimes.
Twitches their tail, like they’re wagging it (less of an ability and more like a quirk)
Like other replacements they aren’t part of the plentyn hive mind and can talk
Has some chaos magic baked in their body, and is able to use it
Their chaos magic makes Tape, their draconequus form, possible
The rest of their unique abilities are caused by their chaos magic, and to help living several lives at the same time possible
Made and uses a pocket dimension to recharge their social battery and be alone
The pocket dimension is outside of time and mainly exists because they live several lives with their different forms and need rest time. They are me and I can barely function in one much several at the same time lol
The chaos magic helps Blue keep mental tabs on each form, like sorting what memories happened in each form and who they know in each one
Blue tries their best to keep know in each form separate so they don’t get too confusing
They can also teleport, for fun :D
From being a plentyn changeling:

Other basic changeling abilities like flying, acute magic ability, climbing on walls
Able to see in the dark, but not super clearly

Has a staring problem, but that’s also cause they’re autistic
Can turn completely invisible but only when they’re in their changeling form
New ability that I didn’t mention in the plentyn post is they can phase through thin walls and objects(like through closed windows if needed) Blue needs to put conscious effort to do this
For y’all to understand a lot of my thought process towards replacement plentyn are a metaphor for(to me, the individual) queerness, transness, autism, disability and general feeling disconnected to others and think they see you as a monster. I don’t feel negative feelings towards these things irl, but a lot of the thoughts come from growing up just very confused about myself. I don’t see Blue discovering that they were a changeling as negative, as it might be in canon, because of the baggage. I got some conflicting ideas about it that wouldn’t fit very cleanly into a character. So I don’t really have a set lore/history for Blue. They’re me but also not me. They’re a silly bug but also represent my complicated feelings about self-discovery. And also rejection sensitivity ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t know man, we’re moving on
Very loose lore:
Grew up as an earth pony in a big family. Felt like the black sheep of the family, and the odd one out. Somehow realizes this feeling of not belonging was literal. They break out of their replacement form, and find a changeling staring back at them in the mirror. At this time they looked more like a changeling of Chrysalis’ hive. They were gray and had small holey wings.
Scared and confused they try changing back to the form they grew up in, even though it was uncomfortable. They did change but it wasn’t right. They came back wrong.
They then experimented in secret, changing from their birth form to what they think is a better version of themself. (how I tie in my old ponysona hehe) They didn’t have good control over transforming so each time they went back to their birth form or one they made up, it was different. It was wrong.
Time passes. They learn more about themself over time and accept that they’re a changeling. They run away to explore Equestria, without telling their family what they are. Through self love and getting the care they need, they partially reformed. They choose the name Bluebottle Fly for themself. They were more blue, their favorite color. Their wings were new. They were big, full of life, and matched their new tail. During this time they create their current main forms.
Not really sure about the time frame for this next part. Could have haven’t before they reformed or right after. But Blue spends some time with the other reformed changeling, excited to find a place among others like them. The other changelings and Thorax welcome them but let them know that they aren’t exactly the same type of changeling and aren’t sure what Blue is. This gives Blue more questions about themself, they stay for a while. The other changelings help Blue learn more control over changing forms. They also give the outlet to learn to fly with their bug wings and use a little of magic.
Blue then leaves the hive and goes on their way. They meet Sunburst. Who was eager to help to find what they are, and see if there were any clues in historical accounts. The pair didn't end up finding anything helpful, but they became friends through it so it wasn’t a total loss. Blue also meets Autumn Blaze during their travels through Equestria, and becomes fast friends with her.
Blue then just wants to live their life, and gives up the search for more information about what they are. They continue living as their different forms, and only tell others about their changeling form if they trust them.

My Little Pony and Kpop Demon Hunters crossover au!!!
I combined two of my biggest fixations at the moment and went a little too hard lol
Here’s the Dazzlings from mlp as Huntrix in role swap crossover sort of au. The girls are now heroes instead of villains of course and their personalities match scarily well with the Huntrix girls. Except for Adagio but in this au she would be more like Rumi than her canon self, since a lot of how she acts in her canon is just villainous behavior lol
This au is both a crossover and a role swap, so I thought the mane 6 would be fun as the demons/demon adjacent characters. And since they’re demons here, their personalities are more like their Kpdh counterparts. Also the outfits would stay the same too. They’re not genderbent here but they are still a boy band.

Pinkie has rapped before and is also cute. It doesn’t fit well personality wise but she’s a far gone demon here so who cares

I tried to fit as many details as possible from Huntrix, but one thing I left out on purpose was the norigae they wear. I was already drawing a lot of accessories and was already really pushing myself so I left them out. I still really like huntrix’s norigae tho, so learn more about them here!

I started this thing in July if you can believe it. It took over 49 hours to complete.
There were also technical difficulties where my phone, the thing I draw on, had a bunch of vertical lines that made it impossible to draw with. Those went away thankfully. But then right most part of my phone screen is dead, where the touch screen doesn't work there. I still managed it finish it tho.

I was tired of being in the bio mines, so here's the rest of the characters real quick
The rest of the the cloudverse cast! Everyone that doesn't have a bio yet, or hasn't been formally been introduced. Some are next gens, some are just ocs. The only ones that are missing are the cheerimac kid that I'm rebuilding from the ground up and the ocs that are part of oc x canon relationships[parents of some of nextgens]. A lot of these characters shown are side and minor characters but I still wanted y'all to meet them.
I won't go into the detail specifics for these guys because frankly, some of them don't even have names yet lol

Amanita grew up as an only child in Canterlot with her two mothers. They were both busy mares while raising her, but still were able to give her all the attention and care she could need. Maybe even a little too much attention. Amanita’s used to being given praise and support in her interests. Her parents wanted her to grow in a positive environment, but unfortunately, thought well meaning, this backfired. In her adult life, she doesn’t handle rejection well or being told “no.”
Amanita turned out to be studious and driven just like her mom Moondancer. She has the tendency to get incredibly focused on a certain subject and learn everything about said subject then organize the information neatly in different categories. When she’s done with her documentation and organizing the information she learned, Amanita moves on. Then another subject catches her interest and she does it all over again. Subjects include but aren’t limited to: different kinds of mushrooms, different library organization systems, and carpentry.
Her skills in learning everything about a subject and efficiently organizing all that information has made Amanita quite valuable in libraries and her talents are very sought after. Amanita’s main income is from ponies commissioning her to record certain subjects of their choice with her particular fashion. She needs to be bribed to work on subjects she’s not interested in though. Usually the bribery includes the funds and resources to pursue whatever subject she’s currently fixated on. She needs the funds because her interests have become very involved and time consuming to research in depth over the years due to becoming more complex.
Amanita has stayed in Canterlot her whole life. She hasn’t found any reason to leave. Most of her commissioners are the Canterlot rich elite or can be done through the mail. This has made quite naive to the whole outside of her bubble. Amanita also doesn’t have many friends outside of her work and family. She doesn’t mind though. She’s happy where she is.
In the recent generation there’s been more hybrids than ever before. Amanita’s most recent fixation is on hybrids between ponies and nonponies.
Cutiemark: A purple quill surrounded by three mushrooms of different sizes, all are different types. A cremini mushroom, and a brown and a red amanita mushroom.
Represents her talent and interest in documenting information and researching. She got her cutiemark about the different species and mutations of mushrooms.

I’ve had Amanita in my drafts for too long considering how small a role she plays overall.
Anyway, here’s she- Mushroom inspired markings and all cause they’re cute. I hope it doesn’t look too much like she’s been sticking her nose in something she shouldn’t be. I was planning to give her glasses, but they weren’t working when I was making her ref. So I might just give her reading glasses at a later date.
Also this isn’t what I originally planned to share in July either. My phone, which is what I draw on, decided to have a visual glitch that made it very annoying to draw with. I fixed it now though! I think I just had to cut down a bunch of tabs that I had open. (Did y’all know the limit of tabs you can have on safari ios is 500 tabs, not including tab groups 🫠)
The only child of Celestia and Discord that looks like a pony, and at a first glance seems to be not related to Discord at all. Though the longer you look at Cozen something seems off about him.
His siblings show their chaotic side of the family outwardly in their appearance, them being draconequi and all. Cozen’s a little more subtle in his chaotic looks. His hooves and eyes are all mismatched. His horn is bent, and his teeth and overall shape is very sharp for a pony.
Cozen’s subtly chaotic in his appearance, but outwardly chaotic in personality. He spends most of his day around the castle playing tricks on the staff for fun. Cozen’s a very good actor and disappears into his schemes. He’s very good at throwing his voice and sounding like a completely different pony. Cozen has a great time whenever new gullible staff start working at the castle. He loves playing pranks on them, and messing with their head for a little bit. Cozen loves to mess around but he’s more mischievous and not malicious.
He spends most of his time playing tricks, because he’s the youngest of his siblings and doesn’t have any responsibilities like his sisters do. His being the youngest also helps him get away with most of the tricks he does, like how parents are usually more lax with their youngest kid.
Cutiemark: Two masks, one hiding behind the other. The one in front is looking away, sad and crying. The other is staring directly at the viewer with a mischievous grin.
Represents his talent in deceit and tricking ponies for his amusement. Also represents his two-faced nature.

I didn’t really mention the family dynamics with Cozen, cause there isn’t much to talk about. Not really any drama around this guy. He’s just the youngest rascal. His family loves him and he loves them. Though his siblings are a little peeved at how lenient their parents are with him compared to them, but that’s just siblings for ya
Cozen’s bio art is a little different from past ones, but I feel that it fits his character. I wanted to show off his mismatched design so it works out

This is Trixie’s family! Trixie, Center Stage, who y’all have meet before, and Fluorescent Flourish her twin brother!
They like to go to pride events together when they can, since they've gone together a lot when the twins were little. Trixie loves her kids a lot and tries to be the best mother she can be for them. Her twins love her in return, they're all a close-knit group. Center Stage even has earrings of her family's eye colors that she wears when she's missing or thinking of them.
A popular headcanon that is canon to the Cloudverse is that Trixie is a trans mare! Completely independently from her mother, I desinged Center Stage as a trans mare. I made Fluorescent as a trans man, but he comes out later in life compared to his family.
So whoops, the whole family is transgender. I’m not too concerned if it’s not exactly realistic. I’m just having a good time and I’m not changing it.
I've never publicly told y'all who Trixie's partner was, but now that you've seen both of her kids. I'm sure it's not hard to guess lol
First of the Dislestia kids to be born the old fashioned way, and the middle child. Ennui is a shut-in and hermit, and the majority of Equestria didn’t know she existed until her younger brother was born. She’s incredibly reserved, and usually doesn’t show any emotions at all. She does have emotions, but she just doesn’t express them. Ennui is very good at controlling emotions as well, and keeping a cool head. Ennui is more logically oriented. She is also very empathetic to others and always wants to do what’s in the best interest for them, but not in a malicious way.
Despite not having horns, unicorn or otherwise, Ennui is still able to do magic. Though she is much more skilled at flying than casting spells, not that she ever shows off that skill.
After Pappy expressed that she wanted nothing to do with ruling or being a princess, Ennui was given the responsibility of being the successor for Celestia as ruler of Equestria, if she ever decides to step down. Ennui spends most of her days being tutored with all the information she needs to be the best princess she can for Equestria. She doesn’t resent her sister for dumping all this responsibility on her. The two sisters were never close enough for Ennui to form any strong opinions on her. Having a seven year age gap between them, it’s also not like Ennui had the chance to.
Ennui doesn’t really have any friends, and doesn’t mind. She’s able to spend time with her tutors and family, and that’s enough for her. Overall Ennui has neutral feelings about most things, though she is drawn to the more dark and macabre.

Siblings: Furor Ennui and Cozen Dilettante
Bio:
Pappy has complicated feelings about her inception and existence being an affront to the laws of nature.
Though it wasn’t always this way. When she was a little kid, Pappy used to idolize pony culture and Princess Celestia. This was when she was spending most of her time with Discord. Pappy would look forward to each visit she had with Celestia.
Things turned for the worst, when Pappy started going to school with the ponies she thought so highly of. She was treated differently for how different she looked from the other foals. She started to feel isolated from her peers, and this crushed her.
Pappy then went through a rebellious phase where she embraced her chaotic side, and started causing problems on purpose. If ponies are going to treat her badly anyway, might as well give them a reason to.
In the current day, Pappy is out of that phase with the help of her best friend, Andante. Though she still has this underlying feeling that she doesn’t exactly fit in anywhere. Most ponies don’t understand her, and there’s more hybrids in Equestria than ever but she still feels like an outsider with them. She’s spent the majority of her life working through these feelings. She’s glad that she has her friends to support her through it.
Pappy would like to be closer with her family, but she has a lot of built up resentment for causing the way she is. They’re all a happy and supportive family together, but she didn’t feel that way growing up.

Hooray!! Finally formally introducing y’all to Pappy!! Here she is! My daughter, I love her
She maaay have a lot of mommy issues but let’s not worry about that for now lol
Pappy is actually the first next gen character born outside of the timeline of the show, (which I still have to make a cloudverse version of but ehhhh)
So Pappy’s birth is actually the start of my cloudverse timeline, so hooray!! The timeline that’s relative to the other next gen characters
He’s pretty similar to the show, Discord went through his redemption arc like in canon.
Discord and Fluttershy are purely platonic here. Discord used to have a little crush on her but she wasn’t interested at all and thought of him only as a friend so he dropped it. They are the biggest of besties still tho, besties for life even.
The start of what happens to him in the Cloudverse is based on a short story in #50 of the MLP:FIM IDW comics. Here’s a small recap if you’re not familiar with it:
Discord is invited to Celestia's birthday party, and he doesn’t get her anything. Celestia is the pony that has everything so he didn’t find a point in getting her something she most likely already had. Fluttershy finds out and challenges him to come up with an original gift for her.
One to never back down from a challenge, he accepts. He watches Celestia for the rest of the party, and notices that she spends most of her time and her birthday pleasing others. So much so that she doesn’t even get a slice of her own birthday cake, and gives away the last piece to a filly that showed up late to the party.
So he creates a magical music box that casts a spell on her that the next day she gets to spend the next 24 hours as a normal pony. The day after her birthday. Discord made sure all her duties were handled. Celestia is turned to a purple pegasus by the spell.
After learning that everything will be handled while she’s gone she jumps to the opportunity to be someone else for the day. Discord joins her as a gray pegasus.
They spend the day running around Ponyville. Celestia has heard about so many things to do there, but hasn’t been able to try without the attention of being herself. Discord sees a playful and mischievous side to Celestia that not many get to see.
She ends the day realizing that she really needed this day off. Discord says, “If you’re going to take care of others, you have to make time to take care of yourself.”
Their disguises look different from the comic to how they’ll be in the cloudverse. Discord calls his disguise, Hurdy Gurdy, and Celestia’s Eureka Veil.
Celestia has had two different pegasi disguises in the comics, and I took inspiration from both, but for the most part from the short story mentioned above. I made her a purple pegasus for this reason.
I might change Celestia and Discord’s designs(not the disguises) more later, but for now, They only have a few small changes made to their designs.
In the Cloudverse, Celestia continues to use the music box every year for an annual day off, the day after her birthday. She invites Discord to join her each time, and he does. It becomes a sort of tradition between the two. To be two regular ponies for 24 hours.
During this time, they let their guards down, and see a new side of themselves around each other. They get a sort of comfort from walking around and that no one knows who they are.
The two grow closer, and Discord gets to see a side of Celestia that not many ponies get to. She becomes playful and a little rude since she doesn’t have the chance to with her princess duties. He starts to see Celestia in a new light and not just a prissy princess, and starts to catch feelings. Very quickly in fact, like the second time they got together.
During this time was when he just got over his crush on Fluttershy, so he’s a little hesitant to tell Celestia. He doesn’t want to deal with another rejection. He also has a little voice in his head saying that there’s no way a princess could like someone like him.
After sunset on one of their annual get togethers, Celestia gives Discord a quick peck on the cheek. Surprised, he quickly turns to look at her. She doesn’t look embarrassed or like she kissed him by accident. She doesn’t even have a trace of regret on her face. In fact, her eyes have a soft gaze to them, very… soft. Discord has no idea what she could be thinking.
Discord chuckles, “Hey, what was that for?”
“Oh, I don’t think I’ve thanked you enough for all this. I truly needed a break for the longest time, but I apologize if I was overstepping”
“Yes, well,” he turns away slightly embarrassed. “Giving me an expensive and extravagant gift would have been fine. You didn’t have to do that.”
“Oh so you didn’t like it, my apologies. I’ll remember that for next time.” Celestia states warmly.
“It’s not that I didn’t like it!! It’s just… …you didn’t have to do that out of pity”
“Who said it was out of pity?”
“Well, I’ve never.. had anyone interested in me in that way, unless it was out of pity… or to manipulate me into doing their bidding, but I kinda already ruled that out in this situation”
“Pfft, who says I don’t want the Lord of Chaos at my beck and call?” She chuckled at her teasing, “and believe me I wouldn’t kiss someone out of pity, especially not you.”
“Hey wait a minute, why not?”
“I’d rather free you from your stone prison and give you the first friend you’ve had in centuries.”
“Hey hold on a sec-“
“But even then it wasn’t really out of pity. I just saw the potential of a better creature in you, that just needed an outlet to get out”
“How incredibly altruistic of you. But, if you didn’t have any ulterior motives. Why did you kiss me?”
“Oh that’s easy,” the disguised princess locks eyes with him. “I just wanted to kiss you…” She leans towards him, “and I’d like to do it again, if you’re alright with that.”
Awestruck and frozen from her forwardness, all he could muster was a nod. He then gains some composure and udders, “…yes, I’ll… allow it.”
Celestia gently goes to hold his face, “hm good” she then closes her eyes then places her lips on his. She then pulls back with a smile. Discord has stars in his eyes, awestruck again.
“You want to get out of here?”
Discord voice cracks then he answers,”y-yup!”
The two then trot off to somewhere alone together to steal more kisses, and do more than that, out of the sight of watchful eyes.
They then spend Celestia’s annual days off as dates which end with them alone. It started as their fun little secret. No one would ever know it’s them, and that they’re together like this.
Clearing things up
Discord likes what he and Celestia have currently but worries that it won’t become anything more than a casual thing that happens just one day a year. He wants a clear answer on what the two have, so he decides to meet with Celestia.
He wants a private meeting, since they’ve kept their other meeting discrete. Discord sends Celestia a letter, which he enchanted with the ability to talk through to the reader as a drawing on the scroll. Once Celestia receives the letter and opens it, Discord speaks to her from the page.
“I hope I’m not interrupting your royal highness’s very busy and all the important work she does,” the draconequus states plainly, with a slight bit of sarcasm.
Celestia perks up to her surprise visitor. “Oh! Discord, to what do I owe the pleasure?”
“I would like to talk with you, if you’re able.”
“Why yes, of course you can! I even have the rest of the day off if you would like to chat in less of a paper based manner?”
The scroll then flies to an open space in the room and with a flash of light Discord appears where the scroll once was. He gently falls to the floor. His back legs settle onto the clean cold purple floor. He didn’t feel like floating as he usually does. Celestia looks over to him, and up at him with a gentle gaze.
“Is this your bedroom?” The draconequus asks. He has never been here before. He’s never been invited.
“Why yes. I like to spend the end of the day looking over letters I’ve been sent before retiring for the day.” She was speaking more formally than he’s used to. It’s like he’s back to being just another subject that she treats with nothing but proper manners and kind words. It made his stomach turn.
Celestia shifts her weight in front of her desk, “so what did you want to talk about?”
“What are we to you?”
“Pardon?”
“For goodness sake, drop the formalities! “ Discord pauses. “…I thought we were past that by now.”
Celestia’s face becomes somber, “…I’m sorry. You’re upset, could you please tell me why?”
Discord looks away, then sighs. “I just… you always put up this act of being the perfect princess, when I know that’s not you. You don’t have to be what others want from you. You don’t need to always keep perfect posture or use the right words.“
The room is quiet for a moment.
“What if that’s also me? What if I have to be the perfect princess, but it’s also a very important part of me that I can’t just discard? You might have a somewhat skewed idea of me in your mind… We spend the most time together when I’m allowed to do whatever I want. I get to act with some reckless abandon for once.
I can’t always just be this version of me that you see me as. I am a princess and I’m needed to be that. You would think after how long we’ve known each other, you have known this is just who I am. That’s a pretty big assumption on your part. That me being the perfect princess is a cage. Like it’s a facade that I’m forced to keep up.”
“…I have other assumptions about you that I’ve made over the years.”
“Oh?” Celestia tilts her head, intrigued.
Discord traces the swirls on the floor with his eyes. “…Nothing ever goes wrong for you. You have everything planned out. Even when things seem to be going wrong, it was actually part of your plan to begin with. And even if things actually go wrong, you’re highly adaptable to fix them.”
“That is true. It comes with ruling for as long as I have. I need to have a plan, so many ponies are counting on me. My subjects are so fragile, and need my protection and guidance from all the many terrors of the world.
…I’ve always thought that you were somewhat indifferent to death. Apathetic to the idea of ponies getting hurt and passing away.”
“It’s an inevitable part of existence. I don’t see the point in ruminating on it. …Although I still can mourn those who I miss, and I find more worth when they’re alive, and make the most of the time that they have.” The draconequus nonchalantly states.
“That’s a very sweet sentiment, Discord.”
“Yeah, yeah. The lord of chaos has become a big ol softy”, he huffs.
“ …You know, I’ve always been kind of fascinated by you.”
Discord snaps his gaze towards Celestia, waiting for her to elaborate.
“When I was studying under Starswirl in my youth, I was able to visit other worlds with him. Different dimensions that were more enchanting then the last, but still… with your powers, you’ve probably seen more than I could possibly imagine.”
The draconequus chuckles. “Well, you’re nothing to sneeze at either Princess. Raising the sun alone everyday without fail is no easy task. I was under the assumption that you could easily defeat me if you wanted to. You could conquer the world and not break a sweat if you so desired.”
“Why, thank you for the confidence in my abilities, but it's very unlikely that I would want to do anything like that. Although you are right, if I wanted to, I would be able to do so.”
Discord folds his arms. “Why, of course. The ruler of Equestria has the power of the sun and sky to her disposal, but only ever wants to play it safe,” he teases.
“It’s in the best interest of my subjects that I play it safe, and think of how my powers could affect them when I use them.”
Discord’s reminded of Celestia’s disposition to put others before herself. His body stiffens and his face drops. He remembered what he came here for. “Yes but you don’t have to always think of how you can serve others! You have to think of yourself and your wants for once. It’s not fair that you get one time a year to have a day off, it’s not a good balance.”
Celestia is taken off guard for a moment then responds. “There seems to be more that’s bothering you than what you’re letting on. I appreciate the concern in my wellbeing but I assure you that I’m doing fine.”
Discord face softens as he closes his eyes to think. “I don’t want to be limited to just one day a year. I don’t want to just be some harmless fun when all your inhibitions are gone. I don’t want to be just a fling.”
“O-oh,” Celestia turns away and rests her hoof on her face and looks at her desk to think with a perplexed expression.
Discord shifts his weight awkwardly in the silence of the room. Celestia then turns back to him stiffly. “I thought it would be easier,” Celestia shyly squeaks.
“What.”
“No no I just thought dating me would be a pain, and it would make more sense to have a casual thing because I’m busy basically all the time.”
“So you thought one day a year would make the most sense?”
“Y-yes,” Celestia averts his gaze. “I thought you wouldn’t mind.”
“Of course I mind! One day is not nearly enough, Celestia!!!”
The princess chuckles sheepishly, “Well if it’s any consolation I always wanted to try and make it more than once a year.”
“And you just assumed that after the first time I wouldn’t approach you outside our annual little get togethers?” Discord raises an eyebrow.
“Well I assumed right, cause you never did till right now.”
“Okay fine. But that’s besides the point! This plan wasn’t thought out very well! Now was it?”
Celestia relaxes with a sigh, “well what would you have me do? I can’t really afford to spend less time outside of my duties, and it wouldn’t be fair to go into public together on dates because I would garner too much attention. There would be no privacy.”
“Well we don’t have to be in public to go on dates and if we ever wanted to, I could give us disguises so no one would recognize us.”
“Mmm, sort of like what we’ve already been doing.”
“Exactly.”
“But you don’t really know me. I’ve only really shown you my carefree, go with the flow side.”
“Well I can learn, if we spend more time together l’d love know you and see more. And it’s not like I’ve been completely honest about every side of myself either.”
“W-well. Well! I-i…
…Are you really sure you want to be in a more serious relationship with me?”
“I mean, would you like to be in a more serious relationship with me?”
Celestia looks away for a moment to gather herself. “Yes.”
“Then yes. Of course, I do! Are you kidding?”
A wave of relief passes over the new couple, as Celestia chuckles with a bright smile. “I’m so glad to hear that.” She then straightens up, “okay now we’ll have to set some ground rules.”
“Oh boy what fun,” Discord sarcastically states.
“Don’t give me that mister, we both have our own lives. I don’t think you would want me cutting into your personal business.”
“Hmmm, I suppose you’re right. Continue.” He moves to lay casually by her side.
“You can come to my room in the castle through the window, anytime you like. You just have to let me know first. A quick magic sent scroll or something would be fine. -“
[Boundaries in a list, so this part doesn’t take too long]
They both don’t want the attention of having an official official relationship - yet
They won’t confirm that they’re together but they also won’t be too subtle about it either
Discord’s allowed in the castle whenever but not to interrupt important meeting/royal business
Celestia encourages him to make things less boring in the castle
Discord would like Celestia to take more breaks for herself and be a little more open with her thoughts. At least with him, and not just assume what he wants
He also wants them both to still have freedom
Discord: “-and most importantly I don’t you to act ashamed of being with me”
“Of course. I’d more likely just be ashamed of your general actions.” Celestia responds with a playful smile.
“Ah- hey, I was being vulnerable and I’m actually serious about that.”
Celestia breaks her joking smile, “sorry, i-it’s just I’m not exactly sure how to act in this situation. I haven't been in a relationship in the longest time.”
“Huh.. neither have I. Guess we’ll have to figure it out together.”
Celestia locks eyes with her new partner. She relaxes and her face forms the sweetest smile that could melt the coldest regions of Equestria. Discord sweetly smiles back at her. The two then slowly lean into each other face first.
The first kiss they shared in their true forms. The first of them as a couple. It was fantastic.
Discord makes a gift
Celestia and Discord then start a happy relationship where they’re very affectionate and care about each other deeply. They try to see each other as much as they can, and Discord gives her many surprise visits and she’s happy whenever he pops in.
They enjoy each other’s company most importantly. Discord helps Celestia not be such a workaholic all the time and Celestia keeps Discord in check when he goes a little overboard. They balance each other out, while also having a fun time. They feel as though they’re on equal footing in the relationship.
They’ve been in a relationship for a long time and couldn’t be happier. They’ve gotten comfortable together
Discord was practically bursting at the seams with love and excitement. He could see himself with her forever. He wanted to express his love and devotion to her, and what better way to do that than to make something. Something that would represent their love and to use what he was best at, chaos magic.
So he started forming a spell, something that was brand new that no one’s tried before. It started as a dense mass of his concentrated chaos magic. A mass so large it could be seen in the physical world. It could be seen but it was hard to make out. Different patterns and white wispy lines fought for attention in the purple mass. Some plaid could be made out.
Discord stood back to take in what he made so far, to marvel at his work. He came to the conclusion that it was missing something, a catalyst. Something that could bring this creation to shape.
Since this was meant to represent both Discord and Celestia’s love together, it would make the most sense to involve her somehow. He wanted his gift to be a surprise, though, so he'll have to be sneaky about it. So he took a single strand of hair from her mane with her none the wiser and brought it back to his mass of magic.
With excitement he then took out the hair and carefully levitated it into the magic. There then was a burst of light. Now with something to lack unto, the chaos magic takes the DNA of the hair and replicates it and changes it, mixing the power of chaos with the DNA of the princess. From the outside it looks like the mass is violently warping, changing shape, and cords wrapped around it and out of it.
Then there’s a second even larger unruly burst of light and a cloud of smoke and it then finally stabilizes itself. As the smoke clears, there’s a large oblong shaped, leathery skinned object laying on the floor. It’s skin has a large depiction of Celestia’s sun cutiemark wrapped along the big side of it though it’s slightly off from how her mark actually looks, and in the negative shape of the sun is a mass of dark patterns and swirls, in colors like orange, brown, purple and dark green.
Discord’s not sure what he created but he’s proud of what he made nonetheless. He approaches the curious object and carefully picks it up. It seems… fragile and a bit weighty. This strange new thing fills him with pride, affection and the desire to keep it safe. He can’t wait to share it with Celestia.
Discord wraps his gift in a protection spell and many soft blankets. He has this strange feeling that it needs to stay warm. He then carefully holds his beloved gift and excitedly makes his way over to Celestia.
Celestia is given Discord’s gift
Discord pops into Celestia’s window as he’s done many times before, this time with a silly grin on his face. He playfully sings that he has something special for her.
“Oh?” Celestia smiles and makes herself comfortable in her bedroom.
Discord then pulls out the wad of blankets he kept behind his back.
“Oh!” She remarks slightly confused, “a wad of blankets. I appreciate the thought but I do have a special member on staff that picks my blankets for me.”
“It’s what’s in the blankets, my dear.” He sits across from her and gently places his gift in between them, “though to be honest, it’s more a gift for both of us.”
Celestia starts pulling away the blankets. Still slightly confused but also interested.
“I made it myself.” He states with pride. “I’d say it’s a representation of our love, together as one”
Celestia slowly continues pulling the blankets away.
“Oh my g-! You’re taking too long!” Discord can’t take the anticipation and grabs his gift back, and turns away from her to remove the coverings as quickly as possible. And turns back to face her and presents his gift in his claws with a triumphant: “Ta-da!”
“Oh! Thank you!” Celestia looks it over.
“It was my pleasure! I made it out of pure concentrated chaos magic to represent me, and I used a piece of your mane to represent you. I put them together and here it is!”
Discord continues, “and don’t worry if it seems a little unbalanced in my favor, since your hair was the only part that’s actually physical matter and not magic, there’s actually more of you in it than me haha”
“Discord…” Celestia starts. “What is it? It’s not that I don’t like it, cause I do, but what is it?”
“I’m actually not sure, this is the first time I’ve done something like this.”
“Oh… may I hold it?”
“Of course! Just be careful, it’s a little fragile. I did put a protection spell on it, but still.”
He passes it over to Celestia. She holds it and shifts it in her arms. And then she breaks the moment of silence she created, “Discord, this is an egg.”
“Hm, a what?”
“I’ve seen leathery eggs like this from a creature called a platypus. I’m pretty sure this is an egg of some kind.”
“What? There’s no way” Discord takes back the egg, and sure enough it feels as though anything is moving inside it, like a liquid. He uses his magic to see through the skin and there seems to be something growing inside with veins surrounding it.
“I-I had no idea.—- but it’s not all bad tho! I wasn’t planning to be a parent this soon but I didn’t never want to be a parent and you-“
“Discord, I don’t think I’m ready to start a family with you.”
Discord’s smile falls away.
“It’s not that I don’t ever want to do that with you. It’s just we just got to figuring out how a relationship would work. And a child is a big step.”
“Oh..”
“And listen,” she places her hoof against his cheek. “This isn’t a no, it’s a just not right now.”
“Alright,” he perks up a little.
“And I’m not asking you to get rid of the egg. You created it, it’s your decision. Just know that I’ll support you in whatever you decide.”
Discord thinks for a moment, “I think, I want to be a dad.”
“That’s great! And even though I’m not ready to be a mother, I’d still like to help in what ways I can, if you want me to.”
Discord smiles, “alright, I love you.”
“I love you too,” Celestia rubs her cheek against his.
Fatherhood!!! Hooray!!!
And so Discord excitedly starts his new life as a single father to his chaos made egg baby.
He finally tells Fluttershy that he’s been seeing Celestia and made a kid. She’s shocked that this is all coming out at once and he didn’t tell her any of this before, but she still agrees to help him, since they’re friends. And also because she wants to.
Fluttershy has animal knowledge so she can help with egg care and babysitting it if he needs her to. Discord takes care of the egg by himself for the most part. He takes it everywhere in a front facing baby carrier, but made to securely hold the egg and keep it warm. Discord loves it more than anything and talks to it all the time.
After an undetermined amount of time, (I haven’t decided yet) the egg finally hatches! It’s a tiny white baby that looks a lot like a foal. Discord is bursting with excitement at the sight of his newborn, and runs to let Fluttershy know. Gotta let your besties know.
Discord brings Fluttershy to see the little baby, and let her hold it. Fluttershy makes sure that it’s healthy and determines that it’s a baby girl! Not that Discord will force his kid into any rigid gender roles. He’ll love his kiddo no matter what.
Celestia and Discord are still dating and he brings over the baby so she can meet her. They both love the kid but they just aren’t ready to be a full family yet. Discord doesn’t mind, he’s happy with having his kiddo and gf.
He’s a pretty good father too, all things considered. He teaches the kiddo about chaos magic and he did a lot of research to get the best dad he could.
Discord names his bundle of joy:
Entropy Abyss, Pappy for short
(The nickname is a little bit of a stretch, but hey, it suits the Discord family)

So this whole concept and hive was created for my sona Blue Bottle Fly. They’re a changeling, but I wanted them to be a little different than the changelings we see in canon.
Also I’ve always liked the idea that there’s other changeling hives, not just the one we see in the show. Thus, the Ghost Hive was born!

Their existence is a big mystery to most, since they’re very secretive and reclusive. Changelings of other hives know about them the most, but they’re still a mystery to even them.
The Ghost Hive is sort of an urban legend to changelings. Even the name itself was given through tales told from individuals catching a glimpse of one in the night. Like they're a phantom hiding in the shadows.
Members of the Ghost Hive are seen to be their own subspecies of changelings, since they act and look so different from the others. So they’re called “plentyn changelings” or just “plentyn.” It’s like sheep, where the plural and singular are the same word. I saw some plentyn over there. The Ghost Hive being the hive name, plentyn being what that kind of changeling is called.
Plentyn Changelings Facts:
The Ghost Hive’s main source of feeding on love is based on real life changeling folklore. Taking a baby and replacing it with a changeling. Many of their abilities make them very good at doing this.
The hive consists of two groups: the worker drones and Monarch, their equivalent to a queen. There’s also the replacements they make, but they aren’t part of the hive.
Monarch is genderless, gigantic and spider-like. They only leave their hive on rare occasions. They also have a retractable neck, and the ability to make the replacements.
Worker drones and Monarch can not speak. They can only make clicking and other bug-like sounds. Monarch also has the ability to telepathically communicate with their hive.
The Ghost Hive live in a deep cave that’s incredibly large in size but crammed with cocoons, silk and other insectile things. Monarch is perched on the highest wall of the cave to watch over their hive like a spider on the wall. They stretch their neck down to get a closer look at whatever piques their interest.
The hive use tunnels that they’ve dug in the past to enter and exit their hive.
Plentyn changelings have the ability to change form like other changelings, but they are more likely to use an ability that’s unique to them. They can turn invisible.
What gives them the ability to become invisible is that their exoskeleton has a special way of reflecting light that can be turned off and on at will. They can’t be invisible when transformed.
They’re always invisible when they leave the hive.
The Feeding/ Replacement Process:
One pony infant has so much love on it that it can feed a whole hive. Members of the Ghost Hive spend most of their time dedicated to finding and taking foal, and making the parents a substitute so they never suspect a thing.
One foal also lasts the hive a while, since they are good at rationing.
To find a candidate to feed on, worker drones search nearby towns in the dead of night to find any pregnant ponies. They have magic to find them, and to know how far along they are in their pregnancy.
When they find a pregnant pony that has a developed enough fetus for their purposes, it casts a spell to gather genetic information from that fetus.
The information is used as a blueprint to make the best replacement as possible. The substitute and the baby will look and act identical. Their minds will also be basically the same. The perfect copy.
When the worker drone casts the spell for the information, it’s stored on the drone’s horn. It looks like magic.
The blueprint is taken back to the hive and presented to Monarch. Who takes it with their own magic and puts it into an egg-like cocoon. Inside the cocoon is a dormant egg laid by Monarch that when combined with the genetic information, the part changeling, part pony replacement starts forming.
It takes a while for the replacement to be finished developing, so during that time worker drones regularly check on the family at night. They make sure there hasn’t been any complications. It’s hard to take their baby if there isn’t one.
The replacement looks just like the baby it’s replacing when it’s ready. It’s still a changeling but with a pony form/disguise built in. This form can’t be taken off easily. The replacement isn’t going to accidentally detransform.
When it’s done developing, the replacement softly falls out of the cocoon and waits to be taken by a worker drone. It is in a sleep-like state.
The same time the replacement emerges from its cocoon is the same time as when the baby is born. They have the same birthday.
The same worker drone that originally found the parents takes the substitute and uses its small forearms to open a small slit on the blue orb on its abdomen.

They usually wait a couple days before making the switch. To give more time to there be as much love as possible on the baby.
The switch itself happens in the dead of night and while the drone is invisible. Their wings are also silent as they fly. It makes the switch and the drone as undetectable as possible.
The worker drone flies into where the baby is kept. It casts a spell on the baby to keep it asleep, quiet and calm. The switch is then made with ease with the use of levitation magic on the replacement and gently holding the baby with their extra limbs.
The baby is then put in the abdominal orb and the replacement is placed in the exact place the baby was.
The cocoon that the replacement was grown in has a substance that causes it to be calm and asleep. When it was in the orb of the drone, the substance was kept moist and functional. By the time the switch is made it has all dried up and the replacement wakes up and starts crying.
When the parents go to check on their baby, the replacement is there instead. The worker drone and the original baby are gone, and the parents are none the wiser.
The drone then arrives back to the hive with the baby. It covered in tasty love. The infant is still asleep and will stay that way.
The whole hive gathers to feed off some of its love. All of the worker drones partake before Monarch does. They want their hive fed before they are.
After many feedings and there’s no more love to feed off the baby, it’s wrapped up in a cocoon different to the kind that developed the replacement.
The cocooned body is then forgotten about by the hive. It either dies and decomposes or eventually transforms into a new worker drone.
The process takes years to finish, since its species and biology is being changed and it’s also growing from a baby to a more child sized creature.
When the new worker drone is ready, it breaks out of the cocoon fully formed and ready to work. It already knows about all their abilities, and how to cast the spells and anything else they need to know to gather more love.
Other plentyn facts that I couldn’t fit anywhere else:
Plentyn almost never blink and have a real staring problem
Plentyn are a sort of hive mind, and very task oriented. They’re like a well oiled machine. Since Monarch is the leader, they’re the most free minded.
Replacements are not part of this hive mind.
If anything comes into their hive that’s not a plentyn, it will be swarmed and killed immediately. If a replacement ever makes their way into the hive, they’ll be recognized as a plentyn and be left alone. Something about how they smell or auras?
More about the replacements:
Most replacements never discover that they’re actually changelings, and spend their whole lives as a pony. They’re generally happy, but have a lingering feeling that there’s something off about them and not sure what it is.
Since the replacement was given some of that DNA from the original baby, they turn out how the baby would have if it wasn’t replaced. The same brain, same look, same experiences, just one is secretly a changeling.
Because of this the pony parents are technically the replacement’s parents.
Replacements still crave love to a degree but it’s the same way a person would. They don’t actually feed on it.
If a replacement somehow discovers that they’re a changeling, it’s a long and painful process to change out of the form they’ve been in their whole lives. It’s also bound to affect their relationships in a negative way.
The changeling form of a replacement is different to the rest of the plentyn. It’s neither like the worker drones or exactly like Monarch. They’re more like a cross between a pony and Monarch. Leaning more to the pony side for size and general body shape.
Once a replacement breaks out of the form they were born in, transforming into different forms comes easily to them. Almost like breathing. But getting the hang of turning invisible and other abilities that they didn’t have in their original form gets some getting to. i.e an earth pony learning to fly, a pegasus learning magic, etc.
Replacements in their changeling form also have the ability to reform like typical changelings, though they’ll look a little different.
Being a replacement that knows they’re a replacement can be pretty lonely. There’s not many like them. They don’t really even fit with the Ghost Hive or other changelings. So many of them just adopt new forms and keep living their lives.

I’m absolutely in love with the idea of an oc making their own nextgen and all their biases and taste shine through. It’s fun to think about why the creator, being the oc, would make the decisions they did when they made their universe and characters.
I can see a lot of that depth in the Januaryverse and I adore it. The anon that originally suggested what January’s next gen would look like really cooked, and I’m glad that ask inspired something so intriguing :]
Also as someone that used to be a 12 year old that made my own mlp next gens, I feel incredibly seen and it’s also kind of nostalgic
Bare with me, this is first time I’ve done one of these so it might get a little rambly /lh
I’d say I’ve improved my art over this year haha, I’ve at least say I’ve got more ambitious with my art
I’m not sure when it started, but I got the idea to upload at least one post each month. It was a way to motivate myself to actually post things and not just keep all my art to myself like I've done in the past.
This year did start a little rough for me. I uninstalled my art app and unknowingly deleted all of my art with over the years. I was able to recover some of it from screenshots and screen recordings, but still, it was a rough way to start the year.
January and February I uploaded the rest of my Gaza ponies. Where I actually had to do the strawberry twice, since I accidentally deleted all my progress on her :/
I was also working on other projects behind the scenes as well, which I hope to share with y’all at some point in the future :)
And another peek behind the curtain, I actually had the art of Center Stage’s bio finished in October 2023, but time got away from me and I take a bit to write up bios in general 😅
Then I couldn’t wait any longer and finally started one of my next gen character’s stories. Scarlet Heart’s story to be exact. Wild that he appears in a third of the months here lol
I hope y’all be prepared to see even more of him next year! :]
My infection Au is then introduced in May. I’m so glad that so many like it! I was able to explore to explore a little bit into horror and ramble about it, which I both enjoy 😊

A DTA, two complex refs, with a incredibly complex cutiemark for one of them, and a pride piece. Still in disbelief that I was able to do that /lh
Then in July, I updated Midnight’s look. Still adore their colors.
August I did an art dump of the ShiningDence family’s early days together. I especially like the lighting and tenderness I did with late night Shining and Scarlet.
September’s art with done pretty quick for the first scene I’ve done in a while. What took the longest was the story that it came with. I haven’t written anything like it in the longest time, but I’m so happy that I was able to write in time for September’s post. Though it was a little rough the first couple of writing sessions, my adhd was killing me lol
Then even more horror in October! Hooray!! I loved sharing my messed up goobers, those silly murderous monsters :]
Most of my time in November was working on other things and coping with the usa election results, so I didn’t have much in mind for what to share for this month. I’m glad I decided on what I did. They’re so cute and it came out so well for what it is /pos
Then at the end of the year, a holiday piece that I put a lot of time and energy into and it was completely worth it. This piece is the most time I’ve spent on one artwork by far. But LOOK AT IT, it’s so cozy and nice and I like how the dolls section came out in particular :]
This year this account turned a decade old. Double digits. 10 years old. It’s a huge milestone, and I’m so grateful of all the people I’ve met over the years. Especially those I’ve met in recent years, glad y’all are here :]
