This is hot take since I guess hes popular but I dont get why people like lanrgis Hes an abusive dick who treats his bro and even others like crap even without the elfs but for some reason people think he is also abused and that his blaming finral is justified. He just dont like his bro he doesnt even like the engaged girl or most of his squad or any body all he cares about is being better than everyone else like narcississt. Is it from his magic being cool or do people just like tsundere either way he sucks

I’m sorry but Tabata can absolutely write women when he puts his heart on it. We have a lot of great female characters on the show but people like to focus on the bad ones, and for every poorly written women there’s already two and three poorly written men for comparison, so this isn’t s gender issue like you see on other shows (bn/ha, j/jk, etc).

black clover has so much potential unfortunately tabata cannot write women and that ruins so many things

Charlotte had so much potential but Tabata shot it dead in every scene she's in. She's supposed to be this indomitable, strong, female character but every scene she's in is either about how she hates men or that she's in love with Yami. Not like there's a problem with being in love but I wish she just had more going on for her in the canon of the show.

Theme of the day: sleeping habits

Mereoleona can and will fall asleep anywhere, anytime and she will sleep like a log and then her body will wake up naturaly. That's why she alway has so much energy.

Fuegoleon belives that sleep is of utemost importance and goes to bed at reasonable hours, sleeps for 8 hours and wakes up early and refreshed.

Leo eather ends up knocking himself out and sleeps for like a day or sleeps for a max of 3 hours or not at all. There is no inbetween. He runs on spare energy or coffee with way more sugar then possible healthy.

To tell the truth, I actually really like the anime's filler episodes! I know they're quite polarizing in the fandom since they're generally a bit silly, some of the characters do come across as OOC and the anime-only filler arc is, let's be honest, really bad. That arc had promise but really didn't delve deep enough into its themes to make an impact.

But for the rest of the episodes, I actually quite like them. It provides snapshots of how everyone's preparing for the Spade Raid in six months' time, so as someone who started with the anime before reading the manga, the timeskip and the changes brought by it were less jarring. Are they silly? Yep! Some are VERY silly! But it definitely prepared me a lot more for the sudden development that was Wide Asta and his powered-up buddies, because I'd seen moments of them all trying to train before so it made sense that they'd all changed.

I also think that's partly why I DON'T like the 15-month timeskip. The 6-month one is passable - it's a shorter amount of time, we know what they were doing, you can see everyone has grown and there's a good reason given for it. But for me, the filler episodes definitely help because I can see some of their progress. The 15-month one doesn't have filler to fill the gaps, is far longer, nobody other than the main three characters seems to have improved in that time and I don't recall there was an in-story reason for it? Lucius could've whizzed through the Underworld in a month and it would be the same, you know? I think filler there would soften the jarring transition of "yeah, so it's been almost a year and a half", and it feels like a missing piece of plot almost? There's a lot we could explore in that time, like Nacht settling into his squad and getting to know them.

I kinda hope they do filler episodes once the anime reaches that timeskip. But in the meantime, it's a perfect place to put canon-compliant fics!

Some people might know who I am but here's my hot take anyway. I think Vanessa and Finral's relationship is best as is, friends. I think making them romantic partners would make their relationship stale and kinda random. Also since there's not a lot of m/f friendships in the show already, keeping these two only as friends would be beneficial for the show itself.
