As my main income, I work with fish in a specialty pet store that's privately owned (so I'm allowed to say no and be stern to customers when it's needed).

You learn really quickly that not only do fish have individual personalities and emotions but they also have memories and recognize people! There are certain fish who will only come out for me and hide for everyone else. The pufferfish spits at me because she gets pissy that I haven't fed her. The flowerhorn bites everyone but me and my coworker when we clean his tank. I trained a fire eel to come up and eat directly out of my hand.

Fish are beautiful complex creatures and I thank the universe everyday that I get to work in a place where I'm encouraged to tell animal abusers to fuck right off.

In the Actor AU, what are the Smiling Critters' actual names if their other names are their characters' names?

Yes and noooooo..? Okay HEAR ME OUT-

Yes, they do and its legit the names they already have. Dogday, Bobby, Bubba, Kickin. 

No because The thing tho is that for example, Catnap and Theodore ARE different people. Theodore was the one who give his voice for Catnap to be created!, just like all other kids who did so at the time and As toons (About to get on worldbuilding cause god Worldbuilding my beloved). All toons have the right and should be able to have contact with their creators or people who participated in its creation. The VAs for the smiling critters in this case being the most in contact with them and animators of the company as well. Of course a lot of them are already really old and do go or get visit from the Critters on special occasions!.

Think of this Au as the universe of Who framed Roger Rabbit, the movie of Rescue Rangers and Looney toons Back in Action!

I'm guessing that The Smiling Critters were actors for their TV show before it got canceled once playtime Co fell apart before they were recruited to act in the video game for chapter 3? If so, how was their first meeting with player/angel?

That’s actually a good recap of the AU since, I’m not gonna lie. This AU isn’t well constructed atm thanks to it just starting as silly doodles XD. but Okay!

The player aka "Angel" Im in between two options right now since this is an Actor AU, and the game is on First POV. The first option is to make it a camera and Player doesn’t exactly exist. Maybe even like in Wreck it Raplh with Hero's Duty, where the player is a robot designed just for that purpose of guiding the player and taking their place. It’ll be cute.

Secondly will be for the Player to be Y/N like a lot of AUs, but the game isn’t on First POV, instead is on Third person and the players are able to see Y/N interact with their surroundings and speak. Making it more easy for the fans to actually place themselves in the AU if they like!.

Rewarding the smiling Critters and their reaction to the Player, it’s still quite in development qwq but will make sure to have it when the time comes and the ideas are more organized!
