i love leaning into a bad feeling #mytwistingknife
zine i made about being a boring queer!
nothing more natural than changing and evolving and learning and discovering things about yourself.
happy pride from this fat trans butch
Tyra Bangs
if i see another person basically go "but what if this character who is explicitly neutral nonbinary is actually just a binary trans egg because nonbinary people arent REALLY as trans as binary trans people im so woke actually" i will start killing people
"get him pregnant" well thats not my thing but to each their own
"get her pregnant" *takes up my sword and shield* i wont let you do that to her. ......................
Why are you more protective of a hypothetical cis woman than a hypothetical trans man?
Or assuming that either needs your protection?
#i mean i understood op to be discussing fictional characters#and with respect to the context of Het Romance Writers Are Fucking OBSESSEDDDD With Making Her Pregnant#but yea good point
i mean, as i understand it, het romance writers are largely women. it is very common for women to find the idea of getting knocked up hot, as well, and i understood op to be talking more about people's reactions to fictional characters they find it ("get him pregnant" being a common way people express attraction to a fiction male character)
there are things to criticize wrt pregnancy and fiction and how people discuss it in a horny / romantic sense etc etc. but "get him pregnant" as a trend, is literally just people taking the weird sexually objectifying way people see pregnancy in cis women, projecting it onto cis male characters and being even weirder about it, all in ways that have a profoundly negative impact on the actual real life men who can get pregnant and are treated like shit for it. none of this actually unpacks any underlying misogyny in how people treat pregnancy in fiction, and at worst it results in people refusing to unpack underlying anti-transmasculine misogyny around the idea of a pregnant man & why people are so obsessed with the idea of sexually degrading and dominating a man by putting him in an extremely feminine position while also making the whole thing a "cursed i need eyebleach" kind of joke.
while also being weirdly suspicious of the many women who do in fact think a guy who wants to get them pregnant (at least in the fictional / kinky sense) is hot. like we really shan't underestimate how many women find this very very arousing and put women getting pregnant in their romance stories because they are attracted to men and the idea of a man wanting to knock them up gets them off.
Two posts in one:
1: Every day, multiple times a day, it feels like there's something in my eye and it's driving me nuts. Every time I look there's nothing there so idk if it's just a sensory thing or what, but I hate it. Eye drops have not been helping.
2: I think when I get home I'm gonna go through my nail polish collection and pick out all the dupes/polishes I know I'm not gonna wear and give those away to friends and/or donate them. I already know it's gonna be hard and I'm gonna want to keep all of them, but I think other people will get far more joy and use out of them than me.
go on, explain the great sin being committed by people who leave the town they were born in and move somewhere else instead of "staying here and improving things", and then explain your feelings on immigrants...
Why do the comfiest sleeping positions cause the most body pain? That's not very fair tbh

was at a bar and a 50+ year old drunk white woman complimented me and my friend's outfits, told us there was a campsite up in northern maryland where a lot of gay bears go to have sex in the woods. we asked her how she knew about this and she very aggressively said "because i'm a FAG HAG!!! but i'm not allowed to say that anymore I GUESS!!!"
and you know what? i am REALLY sick of these ads that are openly mocking people for being concerned about the products they’re selling.
Amazon’s super bowl ad where the Alexa mocks Chris Hemsworth for being worried about giving spy software control over his entire life. Waymo’s ad with the intro “the robots are coming!” mocking people who are rightfully extremely concerned about sharing the road with, or riding in, self-driving cars.
i don’t know, it’s just genuinely insane to me. “Oh, you have legitimate concerns about our shitty product? sounds like you’re just lame!!!” like what kind of “quiet part out loud” marketing is that?
just received the best text message I’ve ever had. from my mom

"SITTING ROOM/DAYBED" (2004), KM07
woke up this morning, rolled over, and very confidently tried to blow out my alarm clock like a candle. absolutely no precedent for that.
In the year 1450 a priest rolls over and slams his hand into his candle, burning him and sending wax flying all over the place
