I've been reeling over the past few hours so I really wanna get my thoughts together here. I wanna throw up, my stomach feels so queasy. Having someone you looked up to, and such a prominent LGBTQ+ creator turn out to be such a horrible person is such a letdown and such a setback, and it is not the first time it has happened to the communities i've been in. I really need to get off twitter man that's the best advice anyone can give you

Maybe I should stop clinging to a singular content creator and actually watch multiple like i'm supposed to. Idk. Their content was such a big comfort and I used them as background noise when i'd do other things and now I just feel overwhelmed and bad that I didn't notice. I feel like I shouldn't say that either because I didn't know them nor was I a victim, but i'm just getting overwhelmed by this timeline and this shit happening it. Dominoes and all I want is for one to stay up

I really thought they were one of the good ones. I felt like that Twitch space was a safe, supportive hangout. And though the central figure is apparently a scumbag, a lot of that good energy came not from them but from the fans. It takes a lot to make a community - mods, supporters, helpers. I know so many of you, of us, are perfectly decent people and want no part of whatever the fuck was going on behind the scenes.

(Fuck, though. This hits hard.)
