psych fic authors who write from lassie’s pov and the entire time in his internal monologue he’s calling shawn “spencer” but then in a moment of high emotion it switches briefly to “shawn”…you are the backbones of society

my friend pointed out to me on our psych rewatch that henry is supposed to be a like kind of a shitty dad but in such an odd way. he is by no means an ABSENT FATHER he is constantly shown being with shawn, playing chess with him, taking him places, coming to see him at school, supporting him, watching him and gus while they hangout. it's such a fascinating difference to so much shitty dad characters in media. he was there, doing so many of the right things, but for a lot of the wrong reasons. henry and shawn's relationship is really special to me. flaws and all.

I love that Gus just knows random stuff that’s important to the plot. It’s such lazy writing and I love it with all of my soul because that is so psych. Oh yeah of course Gus knows regional zip codes you mean you don’t???

• jules being beautiful and kind

• buzz being there for coffee and to make everyone's day better

• gus making a reasonable financial decision, which eventually ends up in flames because his best friend is human disaster himself

• gus and lassie having a diva off

• henry doing something to remind me why shawn is the way he is

• shawn and gus make some obscure 80s reference and probably dance to the macarena

• gus makes THAT one face but goes along because of course

• shawn figures it out and does another exaggerated bit and everyone loves it

my favorite thing about Gus as Tap-man in 6x04 is that he in no way attempted to conceal his identity and with that he saw no issue in his actual identity being seen and just goes “and tap-man!” followed by him tap dancing whilst a man points a gun at the three of them. this again goes to show how like bonkers Gus can act and is.

the beauty of Psych is that 75% of those "incorrect quotes" posts come from the show and the remaining 25% would not be out of place if they had been from the show
