♫|;; in all honesty, the whole ordeal has been pretty sparse in mentioning between everyone involved. though, swerve DID want to talk about what happened; he wanted to be reassured that they made the right choice in finding him. but no one had really mentioned it to him–not even SKIDS. so having his (CO ) captain crouching in his bar after hours and posing that question came to a bit of surprise that was met with a dimming visor and a small shrug,
’ yeah, i’m ALIVE, but i get the sense that you are meaning more than just that.’ the minibot responded as he looked up with an expression losing any hints of cheerfulness that he usually carried himself with in the presence of others. however, he DID have appreciation radiating from his EM field in subtle waves.
who wouldn’t be appreciative of someone going through the trouble to ask if you were okay when most preferred ignoring you? ESPECIALLY after ‘swearth’. so, rodimus was doing something right when he opted to staying behind to speak with the bartender. but SWERVE felt guilty too; he didn’t mean to worry anyone. he just didn’t want to be a bother or burden to anyone and he still doesn’t. maybe that’s another reason as to why rung wanted him start therapy. but, the minibot hasn’t given the psychoanalyst an answer to it. it would only manage to make him feel even more guilt and he didn’t know if he could handle anymore.
❛ can i get an answer that isn’t a guess? ❜
to relieve the growing pressure at the forefront of his head. to trepan into the skull and let the complications of these circumstances flow out like the inconvenience they are. but, mostly for a bit of CLOSURE on rodimus’ part. the slap of hands together and a director’s announcement of yes, we’re done. we’re done with this part; swerve is okay and while rodimus definitely will be stepping into the bar for conversation with the ship’s metallurgist a little more frequently, part of the captain wants to recommend visits to rung, but rodimus is entirely selfaware of how patronising and alienating that is; kind smile on the psychotherapist’s face or none (how many times had it been suggested to himself after the minor tantrums he couldn’t help, anyway?)
yellow servos fold over one another, the joints of rodimus’ fingers sharp as he tries to study the other’s visored face for more clues. but swerve’s mouthed has turned into a thin, unsure line, and the captain doesn’t have it in him to decide whether or not that was GOOD or BAD. ❛you don’t have to, but y’know. i wanna make sure.❜
