āOh- uh,ā Asio muttered.Ā āIām in charge with you today,ā the boy said,Ā āSo, youāre gonna have to stop.ā

āMay I borrow your arm?ā The vampire asked, she realized it was an odd question to ask of the person sitting in front of her, but it has been weeks since she had tasted blood and she was starting to feel weak as ever.Ā āI havenāt eaten in days and I feel like I could die at any given moment.ā She exaggerated a bit, but she really was hungry.
Asio, who was sitting beside her tugged at the sleeves of his jacket, wary.Ā āUm, no thanks Iād rather not lose any blood today,ā he said.Ā āDonāt vampires usually have blood stashed away somewhere?
asio was walking around london to look for something to eat when he heard a scream coming from an alley near walsh and hampton. immediately, he ran to the origin of the scream, seeing a person get attacked by a demon. asio charged at it with his heightened speed and put his seraph blade through the demonās chest before it dissolved and disappeared. he reached for the person.Ā āyou okay?ā he said.
ward.
the boy wasnāt someone she had seen around, but considering she had only been at the institute for so long, it wasnāt a surprise.Ā āi can see why ā its a bit outdated, isnāt it?ā she chuckled, welcoming the new company and sliding over on the table to give him more space.Ā ānot at all, actually i could use the advice. iāve never been in a nephlim library before, unless the vatican archives count,ā she replied. āwhatās the gray book?ā
āwell, it isnāt really that bad. it just doesnāt contain stuff that has the technology and other bits, itās a very traditional shadowhunter book,ā he said,Ā ābut itās definitely a good read, i like the little pictures.ā itās been long since heās been in the library before- or any library for the matter. when he was in high school, before he found out about the shadow world, he used to stay in the library, holed up in a corner reading a book just to avoid bullies.Ā āthe gray book contains all of the runes known to the shadowhunters. sure, you can just search the runes through the computers but nothing beats reading a book, right?ā
blaidd.
āTrue, it is kinda cool that everyoneās here to help each other out butā¦.ā Sorem sighed, feeling very worn out from the lack of sleep these past few nights. Her glass of water was just a few feet away from her, she tried to make it float towards her but halfway through, the glass dropped, scaring her and the person with her. āFuck,ā she muttered, combing her hair back. The stress was already starting to affect her powers. She knew she had to stop these thoughts.
āare you okay?ā asio asked, concern written all over his face.Ā āi think you need to rest,ā he told her. doing warlock stuff must not have been very easy, considering it takes a lot of effort and they have to do it a lot.Ā ādo you want me to walk you home? because i donāt think you should strain yourself more with portalling,ā he said.
blackheart.
dio was practically vibrating in his spot, grin growing almost manic as he resisted the urge to launch himself at the other.Ā āyouāre looking for me?ā friend friend friend friend friendĀ āooh how come? are you a wolf too? are we going to the pack now? do you know the alpha? is he cool? s he nice? is he a she? oh my god is she gonna growl at me for misgendering her? oh god im dead im dead im dead please hide me-ā
ānooo heās a he youāre fineee,ā he chuckled.Ā ādude you okay? i was just looking for you because weāre teammates?ā the kid looked like he needed a hug, and just a few seconds earlier he was pretty much vibrating. such an animated young boy that makes asio just smile.Ā ādo you... want a hug?ā
blackheart.
the wolf pup glanced around the institute, blue eyes wide and a grin firmly settled on his face.Ā āthis. is. awesome.ā heād been exploring the place for the last hour- annoying several of itās residents by bouncing around the halls like an excitable puppy. he was an excitable puppy.Ā
the team arrangements were just announced and one of his teammates were supposed to be a certain dio blackheart. he was roaming around the institute looking for his teammates when he saw a boldly blue-eyed werewolf giddily jumping around the institute, quite literally.Ā ācalm down there bud!ā asio chuckled. āhave you seen a dio blackheartĀ around? i heard he was yay tall, had fluffy hair and very blue eyes-ā he then realized who heās talking to,Ā ā...youāre dio, right?ā
ward.
The London Instituteās library was starting to be Pandoraās favorite place to visit. Until recently, she was restricted to the libraries of the mundane and Downworld, but now that she could roam the walls of shadowhunter books it wasnāt likely that she would be leaving this room anytime soon. She sat on top of one of the study tables, her legs folded beneath her as she flipped through the pages of The Shadowhunters Codex, hardly even noticing the person approaching from her right.
āiāve never really finished that book,ā he smiled as he sat on the study table, the one held against a wall,Ā āi mean, itās cool and all but my dad taught me a lot of stuff thatās in it. the gray bookĀ is interesting though.ā asio said before backing slightly, having just remembered the person looked so into the book sheās reading.Ā āiām sorry, am i bothering you?ā
blaidd.
āWeāre getting more and more recruits everyday. Iām not sure if this is supposed to reassure us or to make us worry more..ā Sorem sighed,Ā āthoughts?ā
āi think itās pretty neat,ā asio smiled as he sat beside the blue-haired warlock.Ā āyou know, the more the merrier. and itās always better to reinforce the placeās defense, considering what itās been through just recently.ā
asio cobhamās mask to the ball.
āthis is amazing,ā asio said in amusement as he stood with someone during the party.Ā āwhoever did the entire glamouring needs major credits, this probably took a lot of magic to do!ā asio had a thing for parties- be it fancy or wild. he did have a specific taste for the fancier parties, especially when he gets to wear fancy clothing. his mask was a white swan filigree maskĀ he really digged which made his night even better.
huitzil.
āIāve been there before!ā Thyra clapped excitedly, āIāve heard about that village from a seelie friend of mine and its name was intriguing and it took me a few hours to even pronounce it properly and wow,ā she smiled, āyouāre pronouncing it flawlessly. The place is beautiful and peaceful and to be honest, I donāt think an Institute would be appropriate there since it would probably corrupt its homey, innocent image and I donāt think thereās alot of activity going on in a little quaint area so bringing an Institute there would be just, unnecessary. Plus, it would probably lure more demons in it and destroy the placeā
āitās a great place, isnāt it?ā asio said as he put away the book.Ā āiāve been there before and it was definitely one of the most peaceful places.ā he listened as she spoke and smiled.Ā ātrue, but you canāt say llanfair has no demon activity at all. itās not like the mundanes would notice an institute there anyway so it wouldnāt really disrupt its homey image. iāve been there on missions before, albeit they werenāt really high alert missions but it still shows that no city is safe from demons, whether there is an institute or not.ā

āI still hate how streets are full of ignorants. Why are we even here?ā Thomas started to complain, crossing his arms.Ā āI hate the outside world so much.ā He said, looking at the other.
ācalm down there,ā he smiled at the other.Ā āweāre here to protect theĀ āignorantsā.Ā itās our job, in case you need a reminder,ā asio then took a sip from his cup of coffee,Ā āplus, weāre stationed in the cafe, isnāt that great?ā
huitzil.
āIām quite intrigued by this thing the mundanes call asĀ āresearchā,ā Thyra spoke outloud whilst scrolling through Google Scholar, i.e. a search engine where you can find researches from people with different topics.Ā āIāve seen Albert waste alot of his sleep writing gibberish, scientific information that looked alot like this. It must be quite exciting to study and discover new information through experimentation and reading books, donāt you think?ā
āitās quite useful, donāt you think?ā asio said as he looked at the screen,Ā āi mean, it shows how mundanes thrived for survival.ā he says this because his childhood life was him being raised as a mundane before discovering the shadow world and the abrupt transition from his former life to now.Ā "certainly helpful.ā
