This is one of the main reasons I don't get on Twitter anymore. It actually pains me when I see ladies say things like this and a mass amount of other ladies AGREE. This type of mentality will have men walking all over you and treating you like a joke. Ladies, we must remember that WE are the prize. We are the ones that get chased. The rampant rise of the pick-me clique is the reason why the dusty’s have gotten so bold. Please ladies, let's come off it. Let’s remember who we are, what we offer, and where our value comes from. You are a princess. You deserve to be treated like the precious thing you are. And you 100% deserve more than a $20 ring 🙄.
My Current Morning Routine
Wake up at 6:00 AM. Within the first 2 minutes of waking up, I like to go ahead and get out of bed and make it. This keeps me from wanting to get back into it once it looks all nice and done up.
After that, I go into my en suite and brush my teeth, wipe my face with a damp paper towel, spray my face with rose water, and apply spf to it.
Then, I go downstairs and make my morning drink. Firstly, I have 500ml of lemon water, then I make a mixture of vitamin c powder, collagen powder, and probiotic powder with water and drink that. After that, I take my daily vitamins from Hum nutrition.
After I finish having morning cocktail, I go back upstairs and change into my workout clothes. I like to go on a (45-60 minute) walk with ankle weights. It's a great workout. After that, I come home and do a (20 minute) low impact work out.
Now it's time to start getting cute and smelling goodfor the day. I take a shower and exfoliate my entire body and get all the sweat of my body.
After I come out of the shower, I use the Palmers moisturizing body oil and the coconut oil cocoa butter to moisturize my body. I follow up with the Native deodorant in coconut vanilla. Then for perfume, I use the Bronze Goddess EDP from Estee Lauder. After that, I slip into my satin robe and do my a.m. skincare routine.
A.M. Skincare routine: Tatcha deep cleanse exfoliator - Caudalie vinopure minimizing toner - Olehenriksen banana bright vitamin c serum - Tatcha melting eye cream - First Aid Beauty ultra repair barriar cream - Black Girl Sunscreen spf 30.
Now it's time for me to get dressed. I pick out an outfit and accessories for the day, and then I do my makeup for the day. I keep my everyday makeup very simple.
Quick everyday makeup routine: Nars tinted moisturizer - Nars concealer - Fenty bronzer - Benefit goof proof brow pencil - Benefit brow setter - fluff my lashes - Fenty gloss bomb.
Now at this point, I do my daily devotional/bible study and journal my thoughts and intentions for the day.
After I've gotten my mind right for the day, I can plan for my day. I have a black leather personal planner that I love and I got the inserts to go in it from Cloth and Paper.
While I plan for my day, I love to either watch a Skillshare or listen to a podcast. It's important to me that I'm in taking knowledge early in the morning 🌤
