This year I drank my first #Eggnog! Which I learned if done the right way can be pretty silky and amazing! #Tresleches Cake is on my baking bucket list. This Eggnog Tres Leches is semi homemade (boxed mix white cake) but with a little #Snowvillecreamery spicenog/ evaporated Milk/sweetened condensed milk and homemade whip, it was pretty tasty! One of my treasures I picked up from the @westsidemarket in Cleveland. Serra Mel, A honey from Portugal, ground with hazelnuts and hints of lavender. I spread it on Ezekiel toast with bananas. I'm always a sucker for beautiful packaging!

Made these little guys this morning so I could use up some carrots and zucchini I had. Certainly not dessert muffins. No sugar, but honey and I used @bobsredmill stone ground whole wheat flour. More beautiful #CSA produce. I certainly haven't getting too creative with these meals, but sometimes with fresh product, less is more. A little Nicoise-ish action going on with Beautiful purple #asparagus, mixed greens that have so much more flavor than the awful bagged stuff I'm guilty of buying from time to time. Huge fuchsia radish bulbs, lentils, kalamatta olives, red baby potatoes and hard boiled eggs. I've been obsessed with making these in the oven lately in a muffin tin. I picked up my first share from @yellowbirdfoodshed today @alchemy_juice .3 small bags of lettuce aren't even pictured and I was so thrilled to see a local jar of honey as well!? I prepped and washed all of the stems/greens to throw in my smoothies and prepped some cukes and radishes for a salad in taking to work.
