I am quite honored to be singing in the Sheboygan Symphony Chorus for their upcoming opera concert in May as a choir member and as a soloist! One of the biggest challenges for it are the Russian solos I have to sing. I have sung very little Russian in the past, and it is not an easy language. So today being my (golden) birthday, I went to my favorite Mexican restaurant with my awesome family. Of course, my dad had to mention to our server that it was my birthday, and at the end of our meal he brought me a free churro and said, "Ok, you have to wear the sombrero." All in all, I had a wonderful birthday today.
