25 Black-owned bookstores you can support right now
while i don’t claim to be a “book blogger” by any account (more of a cranky publishing-person blogger most days), i know a lot of people have followed me through my book posts, so i’m taking advantage of that captive audience to boost these bookstores. shop them through their own websites and if you’re local, look into curbside pickup to minimize shipping costs and overhead. okay that’s all thanks bye stay safe.

eso won books in los angeles is a really great black owned bookstore as well!
I’ve been trying to support local businesses lately and was wondering if any of these were in my city, so rather than going through the entire list I googled it and found another great resource: this directory of black-owned bookstores in the US. Sharing in case anyone else wants to shop local. :)
Last day of my weekend. I’m finding retail highly stressful at this point, but glad I have had at least a couple of days to spend with my love, stick my nose into some pages, chat online with a brilliant friend and get to some baking. I’m nearly finished with my reread of The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, though I’m finding it difficult to concentrate with anxiety hitting hard. Still, I’m hopeful and excited to get to the rest of this stack eventually. What books are you looking forward to picking up soon?
