Love that Alice and Gwen's dynamic heading into S2 is Gwen going "now that I'm your boss you have to respect me" vs. Alice going "I've never respected any authority figure ever" but also both of them going "something horrifying just happened and I lost someone and I don't know what to do next and you're the only one who was there too"

There's just something about being deeply opposed to someone and deciding to stick with them anyways. Like, in TMA everyone went through trauma together but they were also trapped in the Institute and ended up hating each other as a result -- any good relationships soured because nobody had a choice in staying. But in TMAGP people went through trauma together and have chosen to stay at the Office, despite not liking each other, because they've inadvertently become each other's lifelines. And Alice and Gwen's relationship might get worse as a result, but it also has the potential to get better, and either of those directions will be interesting
