Here’s an in progress look at another Sparks brick album that I’m working on for #Sparkstember. I keep changing the reds, blues, and flesh tone browns. Still figuring out how I want it.
A sneak peek of what I’m working on for #Sparkstember2026 since I really haven’t posted here since the 2025 event, I thought I’d share something I was working on…
Have we reached PEAK SPARKS in 2025?? It's gonna be a hard year to top, but I said the same thing back in 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2023 and damn it they keep raising the bar!
I also feel like I haven't properly gushed about how amazing it is to me to have had Damon Albarn and Sparks collab together on The Happy Dictator, it became my sleeper hit for the year and has been in constant rotation since release. I cannot WAIT for The Mountain to come out next year, and then to see what the intervening months between now and Sparkstember 2026 may bring...
Thanks to everyone who liked and reblogged my posts! Whippings and apologies to all the non-Sparks-fan followers who had to put up with this for another year. ;)

Also, tonight is my second ever Sparks show. I'll be in the General Admission line so come git yourself a Sparkslet. (It'll save me on postage trading later. 😅)

On one hand, I'm sad I couldn't fit the 'air' on that for the full Jordan effect but I think the Swoosh tie is better. On the other, it's been fifty years of last name puns- it probably won't be missed.
SPARKS TOUR 2025 ❤️💓☀️💗💝 :')))) Last day of tour and last day of Sparkstember today... I'm not exaggerating that this tour was one of the best things to have ever happened to me. I'm once again crying about it all. I will probably never be able to put into words just how much this time has meant to me but... I'll keep trying. Maybe one day it will work.
I made a slightly longer essay over on Instagram about this month & more, so check it out if you wanna, but here is my thank-you to all the fine sparksblr folk!!! Thanks a lot for enjoying my art and and for all the likes and reblogs 💞 (I want to thank a couple people in particular for always leaving super nice tags and / or liking the posts, but I feel shy about tagging, so... I hope y'all know who you are). It's still kind of wild to me that I did this once again, even though I truly thought last year that I could never repeat this! Ha!
I also somehow neglected to say this last time, but here's my extra shoutout to @pineapplefulfillseveryneed for keeping such a thorough archive of all things Sparks. It's been absolutely invaluable when I went looking for inspiration material from a certain era, or for outfit references etc. Without your archive I wouldn't have been able to make anything like this. Please know that your hard work over the years is appreciated! ❤️
