I generally find excessive heat to be a rather difficult barrier to being productive, and here it can also be so humid, I can hardly function some days.

Oh, yes, the humidity can make certain tasks quite difficult. I’ve learnt to deal with it, but it’s not my favourite thing in the world. And my hair seems to agree.

Because they’re jealous that they can’t share in the fun? I don’t really know, people are just kind of assholes sometimes.

I suppose that’s true. Sometimes they might have a reason to be like that, but it’s quite cruel to take it out on someone who’s done nothing wrong.

Well, that seems to always be the case here. Do you ever get used to the heat?

I am not entirely sure. It can be nice, of course, but gets a bit tedious when you have to be particularly productive and get things done.

I think you hit the nail on the head with that one. Or really just anyone sour or bitter. They tend to hate people that have fun in any way they don’t exactly enjoy themselves.

Yes, it’s really quite sad. It’s just seems to unnecessary. I understand people have different interests, but why can’t you just let others enjoy whatever they like?

Not that many, to be honest. It was very warm, though.

It would be a lot of fun to live in most cities for a year or two, I find. Me too. It’d be a horrible fear for me. Silly, or not constantly concerned with the sources of coffee?

Wouldn’t it? Of course, staying somewhere for a long period of time does have it perks, like the sense of community and belonging. Well, probably both to be quite honest? I can be terribly silly, after all.

It is. And so fun for the kids.

I don’t think there’s anything nicer than seeing children really enjoying themselves. It’s so lovely.

Exactly! It’s a city like no other. I do too. It’s a horrible trap, and I absolutely understand the sentiment of filial piety which leads people into it. I’m sure there’s coffee tourism, though presumably it would not take you to Europe much. I’d assume you’d go to Columbia and Turkey and places like that.

It would be nice to live there for a year or two. Then again, that’s what I think about most places. Yes, I do too. Goodness, I fear I would be one of those people, unwilling to disappoint my family. Oooh, yes, of course, I’m so silly sometimes.

I feel so free now I’m out of that costume, damn. Do they have to make it all so…heavy? I mean, it’s freaking Florida. And it’s so damn tight, it feels nice to be able to move properly right now.
