Noboru is an ex-samurai (previously having been masquerading as a man) who ran away from her daimyō’s army after she was caught for a ‘scandal’- that scandal being her killing the same daimyō’s son. Now she spends her days at the seaside town of Edo, fishing and hunting as she pleases. Unfortunately for her, her past is catching up with her in the form of an exceptionally annoying bounty hunter.

Some art of my favorite book series when i was younger. I started rereading it recently (along with the books that were added recently) It still has a very dear place in my heart. It’s basically what made me interested in nature and history in the first place. I really thought this series was more popular than it is because i liked it so much, turns out it doesn’t even have a single fic on A03. Head in hands. Anyways i’ll definitely be drawing more of Torak and Wolf because i love them and SOMEONE has to become the fandom artist, and i suppose it might as well be me.
