Ji-Hye didnât seem like herself⌠Being one of, if not, the best horror actress he has ever seen, why was she acting like this? He looked at her hands, not saying anything at first⌠This was upsetting, not to mention confusing.
Yuudai approached her but kept his distance⌠Maybe she didnât want to be bugged? This was kind of odd and he felt out of place. After being quiet for so long, he inhaled and spoke up once more.
âThatâs⌠Odd. How did you..-â
Use your brain. Itâs obvious what happened.
â⌠Was it an entry fee..?â
She sighed, looking at him and then at the screen where the movie was fading. Ji-Hye nodded.
âYep. Now I know how you must have felt. I donât even really know who I am without horror movies.â
She flopped back onto her seat, staring at the ceiling.
âHonestlyâŚ.I still donât think Iâll die but it might be nice, donât you think? Anything to get out of here and stop having the things I love taken from me.â
Ouch. Even if it was Ji-Hye, and this was kind of sad to see, Yuudai felt that small bit of amusement from listening to how negatively it affected her. From what he knew, this was her life⌠Without it, who was she? Almost identical to what Yuudaiâs sources of inspiration meant to him.
âYouâre definitely not alone. I havenât written since that first entry fee.â
He moved through the seats and flopped into one next to her.
âSometimes I think the same. Although I like to think that, maybe⌠I could make it, regain my creativity and write phenomenal work from this experience. Not in a blind optimist way- Itâs simply a nice thought.â
Thousand-Yard Stare | Ji-Hye | Closed for Yuudai
coldbloodedpoet:
After everything that had happened, Yuudai felt a bit⌠Tired. It was all so much! He felt that if anything, he could find someone else who he enjoyed speaking to. Nobody came to mind right awayâŚ
But what about Ji-Hye? Yuudaiâs feelings regarding her were more⌠Mixed, than anything. Seeing his favourite actress in person was amazing, but he had to keep in mind that her villainous roles were, in fact, acts. Her optimism threw him off a bit. Even then, he could find a way to go and bug her. He thought of where she could beâŚ
He jumped when hearing a sudden shriek. Oh god, was that a murder happening?! If it were, the least he could do was count himself as a witness and get the trial over with sooner. Yuudai was now sprinting to the source of the scream, tripping over his boots as he reached the door, swinging it open. He fell to the floor⌠And there was no murder. No, it was Ji-Hye watching a horror film. But was that scream hers?
ââŚâ
Well, Yuudai, you made your entrance. He looked like quite a fool, laying on the ground right at the entrance. He quickly stood up and cleared his throat.
âI heard a scream! Nobodyâs hurt..?â
She jumped a bit when Yuudai crashed in, cursing herself for even being that startled. But maybe she should just appreciate having somebody come running at the scream that was nice. At the question she sighed, dramatically. She stood up, hands shaking as she turned the movie off.
âMy soul is hurt. My thighs do too becauseâŚwell.â
She raised her hands up, showing the tiny amount of blood staining underneath the nails. Maybe the âmy soulâ thing was a bit much, but Ji-Hye figured she had earned the right to be a little melodramatic.
âI wanted to try andâŚdesensitize myself. See if I could force my brain to love horror movies again. It didnât work, as you can see.â
Ji-Hye didnât seem like herself⌠Being one of, if not, the best horror actress he has ever seen, why was she acting like this? He looked at her hands, not saying anything at first⌠This was upsetting, not to mention confusing.

Yuudai thought about that. Smiling in death. When youâve accepted it and youâre satisfied with yourself. Thatâs all he wanted. He would hope to go out in such a way⌠Yeah, satisfied.
Her behaviour was still intriguing. Most things just seemed⌠Boring. Although he enjoyed hearing about this. It was more entertaining than anything. He listened closely. So Clarity had problems with her parents too..? Yuudai could have at least mentioned that she wasnât alone. And perhaps, in return for how much she was telling him, he could share some things he never really⌠Wanted to share.
âI see⌠She sounds like a disgusting woman. Itâs better you didnât take after your mother.â
He grinned from her compliments⌠He loved hearing this. Just keep giving it to him- Yuudai loved reactions. As much as he loved seeing people angered or fearful over what he did, he acknowledged those who understood why it made him well known as a poet. Sometimes, he felt that others didnât understand that much, and it was a bit disappointing.
âIâm glad you agree. Itâs a shame Iâve lost what made me such a great author⌠Though even my first books are still selling and being read. My success shocks even me- I hope to be remembered, my poems and novels being read decades after my death.â
When Yuudai mentioned that, he really wasnât kidding. It was his dream to become so successful and inspiring with his messages of horrific realism. Letting it be known that life itself is the most frightening and unfortunate thing⌠But he still felt that he should share⌠Something. While Clarity was going on about her past, Yuudai felt as though he had been too secretive about his towards her.
âI do understand having⌠Unsupportive parents. If you can keep a secret⌠And I know you may⌠Iâll tell you⌠[REDACTED]â
âShe was a hideous womanâŚhow my father is able to still be with her is beyond meâŚ.even he deserves better than herâŚAll she does is spend his money and likely cheat on him anywaysâŚThey both could care less about Chie and I that they donât even know shes dead~â
Well thatâs Claritys family for youâŚwhen was the last time she talked about her parentsâŚit seemed like foreverâŚOr maybe she just forgets that she even had parents due to lone wolfing it for so long. She bites her lower lip in thought and tries to remember but lets the thought go as she really could care less about her parents.
âUfufufu~ I believe that with your ability you will go down in history as Japans greatest poetâŚjust as I will go down as the best Occultist of our timeâŚand times to come~ I highly doubt anyone will be able to beat what we have achieved. As I find it impossible for someone to beat what is already perfectionâŚufufufufu~â
She was both bragging and complimenting Yuudai at the same timeâŚwith a smile still plastered on her face, a wicked yet devious smile at that. Currently Clarity was calm and tranquil with her thoughtsâŚsomething graveyards always did for her. For some they were a place to mourn and be upset but for her they were a place of quiet and inspirationâŚher happy place.
But as Yuudai began to speak again, she gave him her full attention as he began to share something with her just as she did with him almost as if they have made a dark oath to one another in sharing parts of their past that they rather forget.
âAhâŚso it appears the same goes for youâŚ? As unfortunate as it may be⌠[REDACTED]
As Clarity seemed to be, Yuudai didnât seem to have pleasant thoughts towards his own parents. For obvious reasons⌠He smiled after Clarity had just continued to go on and speak nicely about his work. She seemed to have the same mindset- What theyâd done already was astonishing. The only downside would be their abilities taken before they were even adults. And if they were to die in this manor⌠Itâd be even more unfortunate. All he could do was hope that nobody would even try to come near passing what theyâve done.
âOh yes, I doubt anyone will accomplish what weâve done at our age by the time they heard of us.â
Sometimes he went without realising, but his books were very popular. And not even his poetry or horror! He did much more than that. He could mourn his lost creativity, but when it comes down to it⌠He was already successful.
His smile faded⌠Clarity was right. Without realising it, Yuudai was born an antagonist. He didnât intend to ruin anyoneâs life⌠But look what he did.
âYouâre absolutely right! I do consider that sometimes, but Iâve spent so much time disregarding memories of them as a wholeâŚâ
That smile was back. He scooted closer to Clarity before speaking again,
âIâll have to remember all youâve said⌠My memory is amazing, donât worry. But come the day we escape⌠And I soon can regain my creativity and motivation⌠I must write about this, and I will definitely mention you as well.â

Yuudai knew perfectly well that Clarity was a woman of many secrets. But she was like an open book now! Did she trust Yuudai? Thatâs kind of a stretch, but they did both have similar minds. Learning all of this about Chie⌠It was amazing. Perhaps even inspiring, if he could comprehend that still.
âIf I were in her place, I may have died with the same expression. She really was a very, very lucky woman.â
Yuudai listened to Clarity describe⌠That. He was quite amazed. Not from the story alone, but to think⌠These were Clarityâs origins! This was what she came from. Yuudai had wanted to know this for so long, and here it was⌠He stared at her, unable to speak for a moment. Once he got himself together, he leaned in.
âIâm sure they are looking..! To think you came from that⌠Chie sounds like a wonderful woman. I wish I could have met her myself. I consider her responsible for⌠Such an interesting, amazing young woman like yourself, Clarity Hana.â
Clarity currently was an open book to Yuudai because he simply had asked her the right questionsâŚbut how many questions could he truly ask her before she shut the book completely and locked it up once more? Only time would tellâŚ
âJust as she was in lifeâŚ.she was still smiling in deathâŚI hope to go out in the same manner if possibleâŚby that I mean happily accepting my death as she didâŚShe was such a role modelâŚâ
She keep her hands together but starts rubbing her thumb against the back of one of her hands in thought⌠From time to time she actually missed ChieâŚbut she knew that her death was inevitableâŚunavoidable. Chie wouldnât want her to dwell on her for too long so Clarity quickly waved the sadness out of her mind and spoke again.
âUfufufu~ Most people thought she was a horrible guardianâŚbut no she was wonderful~ Much better than my parents ever were⌠She taught me all I know whereas my mother was more focused on appearanceâŚcan you believe she called me an embarrassment? That she wished she had never had meâŚI only brought shame to herâŚ.but truthfully Iâm glad I do~ That woman is nothing more than plastic and siliconâŚâ
She does smile though as he compliments her once more, a less creepy more genuine smileâŚalmost like shes not used to getting compliments that she doesnât give herselfâŚ
âAh~ Thank you Miyamoto-san~ You yourself are quite the esteemed writerâŚAs I spent time while still having my vision reading a couple of your poetry booksâŚno wonder they fly off the shelvesâŚyou are simply gifted~â

âWe have taken your love of horror movies away from you.â
It was a simple thing for so many people. Even die-hard horror movies fan could have lived without it. But what was a scream queen who didnât love horror? Who feared it? A regular actress just doing her job, but who was going to tell Ji-Hye that?
After spending a bit sulking, hating herself for not being Ji-Hye Sin, horror lover, scream queen, princess of terror, she had decided she had enough. Sulking wasnât befitting of her. She had to do something about it. Had to try and fix this.
This is what led to her to her grabbing as many horror movies as possible and heading to the movie theater. It feltâŚdeadly. A spirit lingered here, she knew. Maybe she shouldnât have come back so soon after a murder. But no, Ji-Hye was determined to do this. It was for her own good.
That led to her here, nails digging into her thighs so hard blood was being drawn. The atmosphere, the music, the effects. It was absolutely terrifying. She knew she should love this but she couldnât. She was horrified both at the film and herself.
Suddenly, the killer in the film broke the door down, and Ji-Hye let out a scream so loud that most of the floor could have heard it. Whoops.Â
After everything that had happened, Yuudai felt a bit⌠Tired. It was all so much! He felt that if anything, he could find someone else who he enjoyed speaking to. âWonderful! Such a gruesome death⌠Who wouldnât want to go out in such a way?â

Even if Clarity could not see how excited Yuudai face was she could tell by his voice alone that he was enjoying her tale of her grandmothers death. Most would be offended about hearing someone be joyous over a family members death but Clarity was glad he had such a reaction because that is exactly what Chie would have wanted. There he was. Yuudai Miyamoto, a man fond of tragedy, as hes made it very clear in the past. Everyone knew it. It got him some agreements⌠And some others calling him disgusting, awful, and so on. He looked back up at her when she got ready to speak and listened carefully. You know what he had to do.

He thought about that first fee. Well, his was far different. The most he could relate was the motive. He still had itâŚ
âIt reminds me of our first motive, actually. Do you recall those pictures..? Ah, it was⌠Quite something.â
Before Clarity could inquire, he spoke up again.
âWhat was that fee?â
When Yuudai offered to describe the gruesome deaths of this manor to comeâŚshe smiled a pleasant yet creepy smile..It was nice to know he understood how much she missed such pleasures in lifeâŚif that was such a pleasureâŚ
âAh~ Thank you Miyamoto-sanâŚI would owe you for doing soâŚas in my current state it is quite disappointing I can only see with my handsâŚ.â
She sighsâŚbut continues to speak on topic of what they were talking aboutâŚshe was all into the morbid topic after all even if it had to deal with loved ones being deadâŚin particular her grandmaâŚ.

Frustrations || Ryo closed for Yuudai
coldbloodedpoet:
That sure was something. Yuudai felt a sudden relief as his words left his mouth⌠Not so much after he did that. He didnât look as confident as he normally seemed. He glanced down at Ryoâs hand, pinching his shirt. That was⌠Polite.
âSomeone had to say it.â
Something about Ryoâs smile this time⌠Didnât annoy Yuudai at all. It was actually kind of sweet. But did he actually enjoy that? All of what had just happened was pretty damn confusing. He tried not to show that. But, remembering how Ryo had greeted him in the library, he tried to think about how it escalated to this. No ideas at all. Oh well. He just smirked at Ryo and softly caressed his cheek.
âPerhaps. Or maybe not⌠Who knows?â
Why did he kiss him again? The answer he thought of right away was⌠Weird. He liked Ryo. It was the same way he felt about⌠Her. He loved talking to them, but didnât want to drive them away entirely. The reason he enjoyed them was because of their similar ways of thinking. You donât find that often. It was the same reason he liked Clarity and Ji-HyeâŚ
âI hope you know, dear Ryo, that I donât dislike you at all. In fact, I like you. Itâs just⌠Honesty.â
Maybe also his terrible personality, but he didnât bother bringing that up.
Ryo couldnât help it. It was thrilling⌠exciting to be talked down toâŚ. To be shown what was wrong⌠To be treated like that, even for a moment. Then to be kissed, after all this time⌠Ryoâs heart fluttered. Even if Yuudai didnât mean to do it, Ryo was smitten. He looks down to see his hand clenching Yuudaiâs shirt, and he quickly retracts, his face red. His lips quivered as he stifled a nervous giggle. Câmon Ryo⌠why are you acting like this?? It was only a kiss! After he said some pretty rude things to you, too!Â
When Yuudai caressed the oratorâs cheek, he could feel the warmth emanating from him. God, it was embarrassing! But he simply smiled down at Yuudai. He folded his hands together, holding them in front of himself as he listened to Yuudai. Even though his muse was gone⌠even though his creativity was gone, he found Yuudaiâs intelligence to be just as beautiful. Just as poetic! He spoke the truth, and thatâs what Ryo Shinjitsu vowed to work towards! He inhaled deeply, closing his eyes.Â
âYou are right, fully. Iâm too optimistic for my own good⌠And I should try making my efforts more⌠fruitful. By being realistic. Looking towards a positive solution despite the negativity around me⌠I really like how you opened my eyes. Maaaybe if I give you some pointers, you could make me really get upset.âÂ
With an ominously challenging chuckle, Ryoâs gaze fell upon Yuudaiâs face, and part of him couldnât even look at him, so he turned his head down to the floor beside them. Why was he acting so much different? Why was he acting so⌠strange? Ryo was never one to lie, and so, in a swift moment, he gently rested his hand upon Yuudaiâs that held Ryoâs face. He knew Yuudai didnât like to be touched, but he couldnât help it.Â
âDearest Yuudai Miyamoto⌠I like you too. I admire you, in spite of whatâs happened. SoâŚâÂ
He chuckled again, nervously, then coughing before finally saying what he wanted to say.Â
âIâm asking you to kiss me again, sometime.âÂ
Well... He agreed. Yuudai listend carefully. Was that really all it took..? Ryo could be frustrating at times, but he actually liked him. How much he appreciated Yuudaiâs honesty and realistic outlook. It was kind of nice. He raised an eyebrow at that suggestion. If Ryo liked being spoken to like that... Yuudai wouldnât have a problem doing it more often. Thatâs just how he was.
âIâm interested.~â
He laughed a bit. Touching his hand suddenly caught him off guard, sure, but it wasnât too awful. Yuudai knew Ryo admired him. He didnât make it a mystery. Although it suddenly felt different, hearing him say it this time, his face so close to his. It was much different from their first encounter... Yuudai admitted he felt surprised from that first moment.
All he could do was grin at him. That same smirk he always had, knowing how Ryo was... Although he couldnât hide the small pink flush afterwards. ... At least he asked.
âAh, Ryo... Iâve grown a bit more comfortable with you, yes. However, kisses are still... You understand, yes?â
He sighed and held Ryoâs hands in his.

Clarity did seem like a woman of many secrets. But there was one thing he was interested in at the moment, now that the two were alone.
âI wonder what about this motive doesnât motivate you. The idea is seductive, but dumb⌠I know youâre too smart for it, of course. But Iâm curious to know if you have had anybody important in your life, ever.â
Even if Clarity wanted to leave it wasnât a smart ideaâŚshe still had burning candles all around her and she certainly would accidentally roll onto one if she tried to get up.

She sighsâŚletting her shoulders sinkâŚ
âBut whatâs even more tragic is if it happens I wont get to see itâŚ.itâs heartbreakingâŚ.â
She pouts but quickly jumps to the topic at hand that he had questioned her onâŚwhat this current motive meant to her. She drew a long breath and paused for a momentâŚshe did say she would be truthful so that is exactly what she was going to be.
âAh~ So you want to know who it is that could be my loved oneâŚthe one I would kill over if I wanted to bring backâŚUfufufu~ It would be my grandma, ChieâŚshe was one badass womanâŚbut sheâs dead now and Iâm pretty sure she wants to stay that wayâŚconsidering her death was pretty gruesomeâŚâ

âSir Krauss did nothing. He was just the easiest and closest target while I was failing to control myself. But Iâd call him a blind optimist⌠Those glasses didnât help him see at all.â
When she had suggested leaving to get ice, Yuudai froze. Damn. He didnât want to have to guide Clarity⌠It was best to not touch him, as always, and the woman was twice his size.
âYes. I take pride in getting that out of Sascha. Didnât know I could⌠But I didnât get ice. I⌠Iâm sure itâs not a big deal! It only left a bruise.â
Clarity, please donât get up. Yuudai will dart the hell out of there if you start moving. He had to admit, he still didnât know why he went for that kiss. Ryo definitely was attractive, but who didnât see him like that?
âOur faces, inches apart⌠And yes, perhaps I was attracted to his mysterious personality. I had also just gotten done degrading the man. Iâm not sure myself, but⌠I didnât⌠Hate it.â
He sighed with his head in his hand. Even though he liked Clarity, the excuse to vent felt dumb of him to do. He quickly shifted their attention to something else.
âDear Miss Hana, You have something to share as well. That was our deal.~â
Recalling what she had heard during the execution was fun for Clarity to doâŚafter all since she could no longer rely on her vision to let her know what had happened she must rely on her ears. The execution itself sounded rather boring before the sound of the axe hitting Beau, beheading her instantlyâŚClarity did however find it cute that Beau thought of herself as queen when really she was no more than a pawnâŚA pawn in someone elses game.
âWhat a shame I could not see such a thingâŚI bet it was a wonderful execution for the wannabe queen who ended up being nothing more than a pawn~ I do wonderâŚwho thinks up this wonderous executionsâŚcould it be the one behind all of this~? I do owe them quite the thanks for putting so much effort into this gameâŚufufufu~â
She covers her mouth as she laughs, lips turning upwards into a smile. She was enjoying this conversation quite a lotâŚ
âKrauss-sanâŚhe is quite the optimist isnât heâŚufufufu~ Itâs eventually going to get him killedâŚim sure of itâŚhe is quite too trusting for his own goodâŚWouldnât it be interesting if him and his beloved Ichihara-san turned on each otherâŚending one of each otherâs livesâŚ?â
She clasps her hands together, resting them in her lap again as she spokeâŚit was such an awful idea she had just proposedâŚBut what if it happened? That would be quite the betrayalâŚ.
âAh~ If it is just a bruise then you should be alrightâŚif it was more than thatâŚyou would likely be in trouble and I doubt you would want either of our hosts laying a hand on your precious skinâŚI have no idea what they would doâŚthey seem to be able to fix wounds thoughâŚas we saw with Demain-san and Krauss-sanâŚand then I believe Naoya-san as well got injured recentlyâŚ.â
She sighsâŚsome people here are just not the brightestâŚare they? She glances away from Yuudai as if deep in thought on something as she smiles further as he talked about kissing RyoâŚshe was curious about what led to such a thing and Yuudai gladly told the taleâŚ
âOhoho~ I see⌠so that is how it happened⌠a kiss of such degrading passionâŚthe adrenaline from throwing such venomous wordsâŚ.I wish I could have been witness to it~ I bet it was a wonderfulâŚâ
She sighsâŚbut then looks back to Yuudai despite not being able to see himâŚ
âOhoho~ Of courseâŚI am a woman of many secrets~ I will share whatever your heart desiresâŚconsidering you shared something yourself~ So what is it that you would like to know, Miyamoto-san..~â
He let out a quiet sigh of relief. Good thing they were staying. At least someone agreed with him. Nobody... Or not many others seemed to see the flaws in how Raiden acted. He was blindly optimistic, oblivious, and kind of a hypocrite. Yuudai wasnât fond of him or Sascha. That kind of attitude, as well as Saschaâs, put together... Ew. He lifted his head. That sounded... Really hilarious. But oh, that first entry fee... He never did write since then. He couldnât.
âIt reminds me of what my mind would have thought of before we entered this manor. In fact... Iâve written a few tragic romances in my past, just to help motivate me to write it. Whatâd Iâd give to witness it...â
Damn, Naoya got hurt too? He wondered what he could have done to have that happen. But the reapers did seem to be a bit... Brutal with their punishments. Had the fight continued and gotten more reckless, he could have gotten even more hurt...
He looks back at Clarity with a small grin. She had explained it in a way that he couldnât really put into words at the moment.
âYou may be right. No... I think you are.â
Clarity did seem like a woman of many secrets. But there was one thing he was interested in at the moment, now that the two were alone.
âI wonder what about this motive doesnât motivate you. The idea is seductive, but dumb... I know youâre too smart for it, of course. But Iâm curious to know if you have had anybody important in your life, ever.â

⌠Hopefully they didnât have plans on moving somewhere else. The last thing Yuudai wanted was to guide Clarity around. As much as he liked her⌠No. He laughed softly while listening to her speak. There was no disagreement there. He almost felt bad for Clarity, not being able to see the show for herself. But if she ever needed somebody to describe what had happened, Yuudai could give it a try.
âDearest Beau Demain had gotten decapitated. I will admit, as much as I admire her for her dramatic act, I loved witnessing it.â
He nodded, and once realising she couldnât see, let out a soft grunt to show he was listening to her. First sight, then agility? That was probably a little annoying⌠And difficult to navigate in, as she mentioned. Yuudai laughed nervously. Oh, where does he begin? The exchange sounded like a reasonable deal. All right, why not?
âIâll take the deal. To start⌠I crushed Raidenâs glasses out of pure anger, which caught the attention of his precious Sascha⌠She punched my face.â
Yep, already off to a great start.
â⌠I also kissed Ryo on impulse.â
Clarity was clearly comfortable on the ground and with the setup of candles around her it didnât appear she was planning on leaving any time soon so luckily for Yuudai he would not have to attempt to guide her out of the graveyardâŚbut even then would she even ask for help? Thereâs a slim chance she would admit she needed help.
âOh~ A decapitation fit for the fake egotistical queen she believed she was? How fittingâŚ. I bet it was a beautiful beheading despite her not deserving the greatest honor of being beheadedâŚWho knew she would end up like thatâŚ.but I do admit it was quite entertaining to see her put on such a showâŚI wouldnât say sheâs the best actress but she sure fooled us for a whileâŚUfufufu~â
Her eyes widened in curiosity thoughâŚ
âWas it gruesome~? Did they show the aftermathâŚ?â
If Yuudai didnât know how morbid she already was he would be quite shocked as she almost leans in a bit eagerly to hearâŚbut she sits still with her hands in her lap enjoying the conversation as she listens to Yuudai speak once moreâŚso many things have occurred while she was simply enjoying the atmosphere of the graveyard hadnât they?
âWhat is it that Krauss-san did to have you break his glasses~ I didnât see Ichihara-san as the violent type butâŚitâs quite refreshing to know that even someone who seems so innocent can break~ It is deeply unfortunate that it had to be on your face thoughâŚ.You did get ice for thatâŚcorrect? If notâŚIf we walk back inside together I will get you what you need~ I do know how to take care of myself after allâŚIve gotten myself punched a timeâŚ.or twentyâŚufufufu~â
Lacing her fingers together she grins though at his next statementâŚ
âOhoho~? You kissed Shinjitsu-sanâŚhow bold~ Is it that you find yourself attracted to him..? I do admit he is attractive with how mysterious he is⌠but to think someone would actually put the moves on him~ Impulsively kissing people is rather a rush~ Ufufu~â
Talking about gruesome things with Clarity had to be one of Yuudaiâs favourite things to do. He recalled the aftermath of her execution and nodded, but then realised that she wouldnât be able to see it.
âI would definitely consider oneâs head being sliced off as quite gruesomeâŚ~ We had witnessed her disembodied head fall into thorns and roses. To be quite honest, I hope sheâs left there to rot.â
