danny and steve go on a valentine’s day double date weekend with their respective girlfriends and spend the weekend together, avoiding their girlfriends
steve and danny spend a couple of days cooped up in an old cat lady’s apartment, listening to lesbians having sex and doing their relationship therapy homework
steve has a dream where he and danny are different people but still together all the time and he calls danny handsome
steve accidentally books himself and danny for a weekend of luxury couple’s therapy so they go [shrug emoji] and do it anyway, attending group sessions to talk about how to have a healthy sex life, among other things
danny goes to jail and almost dies in columbia to keep steve from getting arrested, so steve rescues him
steve gets kidnapped and almost dies in north korea, so danny rescues him
steve gets kidnapped and almost dies in afghanistan, so danny rescues him
steve gets kidnapped and almost dies in hawaii, but danny still rescues him (and steve has hallucinations about danny in a hawaiian shirt)
danny almost dies and hallucinates about a happy future where it’s implied that he might have moved in with steve, while steve has to put his finger literally inside of danny to save his life

danny and steve transport a nuclear bomb in a truck, bicker about danny’s plans for retirement that steve feels left out of, compare their relationship to a marriage and Don’t Say Things again
danny organizes an intervention for steve and hires a stress counsellor because he’s so worried about steve’s health, and it’s resolved with steve telling danny he loves him and that he never wants him to change
steve gets fatally wounded so danny goes on a murderous rampage with flashbacks to steve dying to make it extra clear that he’s doing it out of revenge and then danny gives steve half of his liver to save his life

steve rescues danny and grace from a hostage situation at a school dance, so danny invites steve to kiss him or pick a base and they walk away arm in arm with grace tucked close
danny freaks over grace getting texts from a boy so steve talks him down repeatedly and says that romance is in the air. also, it’s another valentine’s day and danny gets a text from his girlfriend while he’s spending it with steve
