hiiii i’m synth/sinthe, and i’m a big stu-pot appreciator <3 i’ve been into gorillaz for like a decade now and i spent 90% of my time losing my marbles about the character dynamics and intricacies that were almost 100% not intended by the writers ^-^

i am, however, new to actually being in the fandom and interacting w non-official content! so this is my space to do that! hi!!!

i’ll update this eventually with a list of tags and stuff i’ll use, including one for writing/art (when i get around to posting any lol)! but this is all for now >w0!

YOOOOO THAT IS LITERALLY STRAIGHT UP MURDOC'S SHIRT! NICE!

the hole us on the wrong side but he could be wearing it inside out, which isn't unheard of for him (often accidentally wears his shirt backwards)

on second thought him wearing it inside out is pretty likely, not only because of the hole but because of the texture, the one 2-D has seems to he fuzzy (like how some shirts are fuzzy on the inside) and the seams seem to be visible on the wrists and shoulders (when they should be on the inside)

Plastic Beach originally being planned to lead up to a grand finale of the Gorillaz lore with the whole world ending and Murdoc being this chosen one but instead ending up going nowhere is so funny because instead of that it's just Murdoc has a really bad mid-life crisis where he decides to move to a giant piece of garbage floating in the middle of the Pacific and he also found out that he's been around since the beginning of time. Okay back to normal

man this makes me think what if Murdoc really did paint her nails. and what if she kept it on as long as possible after the accident. and got sad when it eventually grew out and chipped off and stuff. like she lost the last piece of evidence that she had been loved

the- the- evidence of her happiness as a child disappears, but you know what didn't disappear? the El Mañana injury. that thing was still prominent 4 years later. so the evidence of her happiness leaves, but the evidence of her pain, her abandonment, her betrayal remained. and she still decided to come back years later
