you can support someone being treated like a human being and not have their human rights violated while also not supporting giving them any power over others because they’ve been shown to abuse it. you can also support people living their lives and doing what makes them happy while also not supporting the idea of their lives overlapping with your own personal one because you’re just not compatible and that’s best for everyone. the world isn’t made up of two doorways that say “Perfect Moral Person” and “Person Who Needs To Be Fed To Piranhas”. that’s not rlly how it works. there are lots of doors.

What if the skeleboys (like ut us uf sf) could all see/sense souls and were the first to discover that their S/O was pregnant, even before them noticing. How would they tell them?

Undertale Sans - He never met pregnant humans before so at first he is a bit wary. You are smelling weird, but somehow, he is very attracted. He knows something is off, but can’t tell what before S/O announced they are pregnant. That’s make a lot more sense all of the sudden.

Undertale Papyrus - As a very cultured skeleton, Papyrus already read everything about monsters and humans pregnancy. Even if he is a bit confused at first because his book doesn’t mention any weird smell for humans, he didn’t make long to connect things. Once he is sure you are pregnant, it won’t take long before he tells you. Papyrus is so excited he can’t keep the secret more than two hours.

Underswap Papyrus - He knows. Contrary to Sans, he met pregnant people before, so he knows what it smells like. And you smell like that. However, he will keep doing like nothing happened. You’ll discovered it soon enough anyway. He is also scared he is wrong or that you don’t want the baby and be happy for nothing.

Underswap Sans - No class at all. While you are sitting on the sofa, he starts sniffing around, then smells you belly. You are watching with an eyebrow lift, questionning his sanity. “Did you fart or something ? You smell weird.” Welp, thanks Blue, that’s always very appreciated. S/O is cringing so hard they can disappear in the sofa. Anyway, he will not help you guessing you are pregnant.

Underfell Sans - You can tell something is bothering him. Whenever you are close to him, he is always sniffing the air suspiciously, then stares at you with a strange deep look. He won’t say a thing. Pregnancy is messing with Red’s hormones. He felt strangely relax around you and he’s not doing it intentionally. Both of you finds it weird, but he doesn’t know you are pregnant.

Underfell Papyrus - Another classy one. He entered the room one day, sniffed loudly and said elegantly : “The fuck is that smell ?”. When S/O said they doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about, he goes full royal guard mode and inspects every inch of the house. It won’t take long for him to guess it comes from your belly. “I think you have been infestated by a living parasite. Here.” he said, pointing your belly. He doesn’t understand what it means before S/O starts crying asking if they are pregnant, and Edge is like ????????.

Horrortale Sans - It’s also messing with his hormones, but at hardcore level. Oak is glued to you all day long, purring and rubbing his face on your belly. He’s not doing it on purpose. He can’t help it. He had to do it. In the mean time, he also became very protective, he even growls at his own brother if he gets too close. Both S/O and Willow are very worried about his condition. When S/O discovered they are pregnant, everything became a lot more clear. Good luck. Oak will be like that the 9 months of your pregnancy.

Horrortale Papyrus - Like Papyrus, he read a lot of things about Humans/Monsters pregnancies. When he entered the room and smells you are pregnant, he fell on his knees and immediately starts crying. S/O is very confused. Willow is also affected by the hormonal change, but it just make it even more fluffier than usual. He’s always smiling stupidly and you discovered that, just like his brother, he can actually purred. You spend your 9 months patting the skeleton brothers on the head and running away to have some place.

Swapfell Sans - ... ? He’s staring at you from the sofa, slipping his coffee cup suspiciously. The second you leave the room, you can hear : “Ok Google, why my human is smelling weird ?”. Google doesn’t have an answer to that. The next few days, you’ll find him concentrate on humans books. He needs to know. He won’t before you actually announced him you are pregnant.

Swapfell Papyrus - Oh yeah, so he is laying on your laps on the sofa when he suddenly taps your belly and said that he’s happy he can do knock knock jokes soon. S/O is very confused, but won’t make long to understand what he meant.

So I stopped reading House Next Door by @battlemaiden13 so long ago I don't consciously remember what's in it. Decided to give it another go when I saw it hit 200 chapters. I've only read 48...

In the meantime, have doodles of characters who weren't described (unless I skipped paragraphs without paying attention again), my version of the neighbour and Syrup cuddles. You might get more as I keep reading.
