Thinking about how Luca would have to tell his partners about his sudden adoption of Rio. He spent the four days convinced he shouldn't get attached and failing to do so, he believed he couldn't be a parent, he knew nothing about babies or their development, he never had a good parent growing up so he doesn't know what a healthy childhood looks like outside of movies. He left the morning to talk to Enyo to ask simply what to expect from powers Rio could develop since there were no claimed Enyo demigods at camp before to have experience with. Luca wanted to know what risks any potential future parents would have to deal with and she pissed him off before he could even ask. He was attached but felt the kid would be safer/happier with someone who knew what they were doing but then Enyo's cruel comments triggered Luca's protective nature and he was furious and saw too much of himself in Rio and decided instantly to be what he needed instead of letting Rio be failed like he was growing up so he decided he'd raise him and then he was threatened by Enyo for his comments and blatant disrespect.

So I'm just picturing him coning back and Luca's partner being like "how'd it go?" And Luca having to admit that he's gonna be raising Rio (and doesn't expect his partner to be part of that unless they want to since he decided it on his own impulsively, its not fair to expect them to be a parent as well) but also having to admit that he openly disrespected a goddess cause he was too tired to pretend to have any patience/respect and she said if he ever bothered her again she would rip open his rib cage and mail his corpse to his father, so he has to watch his back a bit to make sure he doesn't accidentally set her off if they ever speak again

I would love to do a thread with Luca being turned back into his kid self and people getting to see just how different he was. Also partially as an excuse to show off the icons i commissioned of his child/pre transition fc

To most people he is constantly joking around/grinning/excited, he hides the negative stuff aside from moderate anger/annoyance at times. If someone saw him as a kid they would see the version of him that couldn't hide that. He was quiet and terrified and constantly observing cause trauma response, he expects to be beaten up or mocked because his mother/step father are abusive and the kids at school bully him and many of the teachers let it happen and don't help.

He would be so confused and scared tho cause with no memories of adult life he doesn't know about the camp at 8 years old. He thinks he fell asleep in class or at home and suddenly woke up far away from his boarding school/high rise surrounded by strangers and that is scary enough without the trauma he has on top of it.

I'm completely normal when I ship things.

I def don't find ways to put my oc's ships together in merch form

I'm def not waiting for an action figure of Luca's fc to go with this one for my personal enjoyment, I just really like wrestling and karate so it's completely normal and coincidental that the figures happen to be their face claims and also if I make the figures smooch for a picture it was an accident.

Note: I'm very much not normal, i do love to put my ships in merch form together. I put Luke and Luca in sticker form in my notebook, I've put other ships from my other blog together in keychain forms of their fcs, when I ship things I am all in and I will be annoying about it, this is absolutely for my own enjoyment and the enjoyment of my ship partner

"I disagree, the boredom alone would kill me," Enyo snarked. It may be over the top, but she enjoyed her work. She liked causing conflict and driving war, seeing how long she could drag them out and making matters worse to see how far the humans will go to outdo each other. Modern weaponry only made it more entertaining for her.

Enyo raised a brow, "the humans are blaming you for something? I would have thought you'd be one of their favorites, what are they saying you did? I bet I can outdo it,"

"Boredom would not kill you." Aphrodite said. "And you call me dramatic you and I both know something as simple as boredom would kill you." No they were much to sturdy for that, but she got it.

"Love is not an exact science." She said. "Mistakes can still be made, but they do not usually blame me for that when it fails." She said. "It is not a contest Enyo, their lives are not a contest." Aphrodite continued. "Wars are waged less over love then they used to be, but they still are all the same."
