I personally don't get why some people are getting annoyed that Jack is doing Romeo & Romeo with a happy ending in ofdo. Even if you take it completely at face value (though I believe it's a commentary on the theatre scene, especially the queer theatre scene, and the BL scene but I'm going to wait to see how that unfolds) it still adds so much to the character of Jack. That first scene in ep 2 points to that too. He's rereading the play hoping this time it'll be a happy ending which is something that I'd argue many of us have done too when reading or watching a tragedy (look at the number of fanfics out there that change a show's ending). He wants that happy ending, he wants that happily ever after, he wants that for queer people, and with the messy breakup, he's looking at the ruins of his relationship and wanting a different ending for that too.

And he worked to be in a position where he can both change the ending and also make it gay. He's taking the reigns in his own hands! (Hmmm maybe like P'Aof did with Bad Buddy?)

We don't know this, but there's a good possibility that the plays Jack previously directed, he didn’t write or adapt. A lot of times with school plays you mount a pre-existing work with no/minimal script changes. In Jack's final year this is his time to shine and say what he wants to say (however misguided and poorly interpreted it may be!)

Added to that, he's likes the tragic romance stories - look at the movies he likes: La La Land, Past Lives - both movies where the main characters do not end up together. But because he has a huge ego it gives him the belief that he can take a play like Romeo and Juliet and change the ending.

Unfortunately for him, all signs are pointing to this play ending up being a disaster so the tragic ending should be coming for this play even if the three couples end in a 'HEA' 😊

But what genre is it?

As more people join the KP fandom, some may ask, what genre is KinnPorsche?

Answer: Yes.  

I’ve heard it’s a gay romance. Really? Yes, there will be a thorough exploration of tonsils and flicking of man tits. Also the world’s most emotionally intense hand job. You will have tears in your eyes.

What about the action? Someone is shot in the head in the first 5 minutes. There is a body count, so if you need blood, this show is here for you.

Torture? We have you covered. I recommend a transparent rain coat. 

So it’s a serious action drama. Any comedic moments? More than you can imagine. How do you feel about a man dressed as a mermaid for punishment? Flying dicks? Flying hand grenades? Wacky hijinks abound. 

Sexy moments? Bring a tall glass of ice water to watch this show. This is some off the charts chemistry. No bathroom is safe from these two. Or pool. Or window.  

Adorable fluffy moments? Absolutely. Come for the murder but stay for the mafia boyfriend submitting to a million goofy pictures with his chaos gremlin. Also a wholesome side couple serenading each other, if that’s your thing.

Then it’s not a show with painful angsty moments. Au contraire. It will tear out your heart and FEED IT TO YOU.  

Family drama? It’s all about family. And carp.

I can’t watch a show without a murder board. Is there a conspiracy and murder-mystery? That’s in there, too. Kimlock Holmes is working on it. He just needs to find the conspiracy and the murder and the murderer. 

I need me some morally gray characters. How do you feel about dubious choices, followed by consequences, and heartfelt apologies? 

Horror? Well, there’s a horror movie night…

I’m almost afraid to ask, but sci-fi/fantasy? Yes. Through the power of gay sex, our protagonist was completely healed of a gunshot would. Not even a scar remains.

Since that day, I’ve been thinking about why I draw. All this time I’ve been drawing on blog that no one will see. Erasing and redrawing every night. That was what I did and the reason was… There was someone I wanted to show this to. I drew it with the thought that someday that person will see my drawings.
