I’ve been challenging myself as of late to unlearn aspects of masculinity that have been toxic or limiting in my life. I’ve been considering what ways I can experiment with my expression that I’d’ve not otherwise considered or been bold enough to try. I’m working to let go of the social construct that is the gender binary; dying my hair was an important step forward in that process. I don’t often take many selfies, but I’m quite excited to watch this hair transition from a purple-blue to a pastel lavender/silver! I've really felt at a loss lately. With everything going on right now it's hard not to lose hope and feel like the actions I'm taking to show #resistance will make little difference in the end. I guess it's important that we #fight, regardless of the outcome. I just don't know what I can do to really make a difference and I'm terrified. Thank you #philadelphia for showing up and #standingup against hate and bigotry and xenophobia and sexism and homophobia and transphobia and valuing profits over people and fear mongering and all of the other awful things that this administration stands for. Please continue to show each other #support and #love. This isn't going to get any easier any time soon and the only way we can #survive is if we help one another. (at Loews Philadelphia Hotel)
